Years ago, I read an article that showed that yards gained and yards allowed are somewhat consistent from year to year (especially if the same coaching staff stays in place). But, the author argued, TOs are mostly a crap shoot - particularly fumbles but overall TOs as well. If a team is among the league's leaders in TO differential, they can't count on repeating. To say it another way, TOs are as much about luck as they are about skill according to the author. That doesn't seem to be true. Not with the Bills.

Week 3, Fish v. Bills, PREDICT THE SCORE!

This was my first inclination. But then again, are we sure the players really want to go to war for McDaniel? They already had to doomed “players only” meeting and Tua seemed to throw him under the bus in his post game interview. It reminds me of Rex Ryan in 2016 after mid season. You think the teams wants to fight for him but they didn’t give a *****. I can see this one being close but can also see it going the other way. -
Game week thread - Dolphins at Bills TNF

The D-line even without Ed should be able to handle the Fins bad and injured D-line. If this game isn't a similar domination to the Jets game in terms of the defensive line then that is a disappointment -

Provides an environment for the ideas to spread and foster. You don't see any of these crazy pro Palestine protests on campuses as they assault Jewish students? All the campuses that didn't want Charlie Kirk to speak, what ideas do you think they promote? Comon man, this isn't that hard to believe. -
Must be annoying huh?

No better time to get his replacement in than against these next three opponents at home. Fins, Saints, Patriots. Those are some wretched teams and NE is the only one with a QB that may be an issue. But we should still win. @Atlanta, bye, @Panthers, vs Chiefs, @Fins, and vs Bucs follow. I think we need Milano back for sure by that Chiefs home game on November 2nd. That would be 7 weeks recovery. If it's known in advance he can't go, there needs to be a move for a LB and safety by the deadline. And...he is gone at the end of the year anyways. -

Why is he going over the Canadian Falls? Nothing wrong with that. But historically that's the side that you're more likely to survive. I think Fields is on the slippery slope to get relegated to a career back-up. -
How many home games do you attend a year?
hondo in seattle replied to vanhalen26's topic in The Stadium Wall
I attend a home game once every 50 years. I make it to more away games. Weird stat: Bills are undefeated in games I've attended live. I hope to bring that streak back to Buffalo next year when the new stadium opens. -
if he can improve a little bit as a pass catcher then I think there’s a chance he could replace Knox who is useful but highly paid. The big question make in Kincaid who has an option coming up after this season. If they pick up his option, I can see them moving on from Knox. But that’s a big “if” now
-
I don't think it's going to be interesting at all. The Bills have drafted two TEs since they signed Knox to his big deal and have brought in other FA competition. It's pretty clear they're excited to be rid of that contract. There are worse #2 TEs in the league, but Knox's big time drops are absolutely brutal and he's nowhere near worth his contract.

I got this same call, I got tickets in section 522 row 28 and 29. @klumzyfule66 - did you pull the trigger? I wonder if our seats would be nearby. I know I'll have at least 3 extra, maybe as many as 6 (there's a small chance I can't go myself)

Nice. I generally do one road game a year as well(different venue each year) but I am taking a year off. Had a rough year financially but also a good year to focus on getting to as many home games as possible being the finale season. -
Joe is a smart OC. He’s making use of the talent that he has. There’s times when the Bills WR’s (sans Palmer) struggle with separation against good CB’s. You saw this early on in the Baltimore game and thats why I think he dialed up some screens. Going into the game against NYJ the Bills knew they could move the ball on the ground and it became a focus. So they didn’t really even need to pass. I’m guessing the reason you reason you’re saying this is because Allen isn’t slinging the ball around through the air like he did when Dorsey was at the helm. I’m fine with that

and you assume it's the school and not his internet/social media feeds? who exactly does a school radicalize somone? colleges have always been a place of protest and a more liberal environment. this is in no way a new idea. do you really think college kids are as wrapped up in politics like you guys are? they're not. other than a small handful, they really aren't. college kids are inherently selfish in nature. it's the age and place. most kids just want to work towards their future, party and hook up. that's it. the idea that someone who enters college with a set of beliefs are going to be totally shifted in the other direction is nonsense. can it happen? of course, but this idea that universities are creating the army of liberals is just absurd. it's a scare tactic for clicks. -
Yep defender was there early and already hanging on his back before the ball arrived, but agree still catchable. I said that in the GDT.

Wildcard is a tougher road to get in and much tougher path once you’re in. And fighting for a division title/wildcard spot down the stretch takes a lot out of your team I think that gets overlooked a bit. Look at what’s going on already mahomes is taking an obscene amount of hits. They almost always have a bye and/ or just coast down the stretch but now they’ll pretty likely be playing playoff-style football for an extra month with no bye the first round of the playoffs I think 7 teams have won the Super Bowl as a wildcard in like 45+ years and two involving tom Brady were pretty much flukes 😂 that Bucs team was disgustingly stacked but it took Brady a bit of time to adjust to his new team so they probably should’ve been a division winner and I still have no flippin idea how the giants beat the pats in that 08 Super Bowl lol. the big thing for me and I’ve heard mahomes say it himself…he saves a lot of these big scrambling plays for the playoffs typically but this year he’s goin all out early to carry the offense and it’s still been a struggle so far im not trying to say they’re done at all haha I just think they’re not as superhuman as people think either. They did win a few road playoff games a few years ago but they were the 3 seed and rested guys down the stretch it wasn’t like they were the 6-7 seeds or something. that seems to be how people talk about it haha

The Bosa led DL should be able to dominate the Dolphins injured OL this game. I would be surprised if Tua has any time to throw.

Same. And I go to the game in Miami every year.

One thing this generation has not learned is the value of driving a beater until you can afford a better car. I can well afford a nice new vehicle but I'm having trouble giving up my 2009 SUV because it runs good. Just sank $150 into it to keep it running. That's probably a lot less than Tsolakis' car payment. All these people need to take a class in Financial Common Sense.
