  1. Past hour
  2. Agree with that. Just the latest of the many things Goff has had to overcome in his career - this notion that Johnson made him. Goff was done dirty by McVay and he could’ve lost his fight and confidence being exiled to Detroit and instead it turns out he has incredible football (and general human, if you read about him) character. Really interesting and impressive dude.
  3. I agree, I’m not saying we’re going to see a bunch of elite small guys. It’s just the injury factor for those guys is severely overrated imo.
  4. Thanks for the info, I may have paid more up front, but I pay nothing per month. I'm reasonably tech savvy but it's nice to have such a simple, one-time charge system.
  5. I usually focus on the DL off the snap so I’ll primarily focus the interior DL. I think our 3T’s will have an advantage vs the ravens pass blocking. Faalele is a force vs the run but I think Ed, Sanders and Walker will have opportunities to run right by him. Vorhees has talent but only has 200 snaps since his knee injury in college iirc. He should also be taken advantage of. also eager to see how we employ our man blitzes. Expect to see them the entire night. If we don’t, it’ll probably be ugly for us. Lamar vs non blitz is as good as it gets. Lamar vs blitz- it gets ugly!
  6. I'll be watching Keon and also interested to see how they use Hawes, also the big man Walker on D
  7. I drafted him in fantasy. You’re welcome.
  8. Ok we might not have the right Karen
  9. Jared Goff has always been good. He was the first pick in the 2016 draft. He was good with the Rams, before McVay threw him under the bus. He wasn't made by Ben Johnson. The guy has always had talent. He just can't move much. Sure Ben Johnson has been a very good OC (remains to be seen how good of a HC he will be) but I think that's a false narrative that Ben Johnson made Jared Goff into a good QB.
  10. The two guys I'll watch most closely tomorrow will be Keon on offense and Cole on defense. I was disappointed in both - especially Cole - last season but am hoping they take a big step forward this year. If they do, my optimism for a Lombardi will likewise take a big step forward.
  11. McDermott showing faith in the rookies not elevating a DT. Really excited about those two.

  13. Not created equal…I think there are a lot of teams that have no meaningful home-field advantage: Vegas, both LA teams, Arizona, Miami, Jacksonville. On the other hand, there are still teams like Buffalo, Denver and KC where home field is still worth a full 3 points…
  14. No Dane Jackson? Interesting
  15. To the surprise of NO ONE In case you missed it Oh there is more:
  16. Surprised Phillips or Logue wasn’t promoted Or a DT
  17. K Matt Prater and OL Kendrick Green have been elevated from the PS for this game. Interesting they went green over a CB.
  18. Would cocaine help me understand the Who’s who in your story?
  19. Yikes--see bold and in general above... Love the "fascinating stuff" line! Don't forget to pick up a copy of the Weekly World News, see how aliens are walking among us, in key positions in our society Yup, fascinating stuff too. To some. Yeah, 'odd' that a hit man muckraker with zero journalistic integrity would just happen to (self) publish this the week of the season opener!?!? Odd is the word!
  20. The AFC West could have the Chiefs, Broncos, and Chargers beating each other up so that none of them can grab the # 1 seed. This season may be the Chiefs biggest challenge for playoff positioning in several years.
  21. I don’t think there’s some grand conspiracy, but my experience with doctors is trust but verify. Remember these are the same folks who prescribed Oxy with regularity, well intentioned though is might have been. I also believe there are doctors who take the least common denominator to a patient with a problem—-anxious? Here’s a prescription. Upset? Here’s a prescription.
  22. I think Green Bay will regret the trade. Parsons is already injured. The $47 million cap space Parsons takes up will severely limit GB’s options in the next few years. And just when they need to fill out the roster with cost-controlled talent, they’ll be without a first round pick for the next two years. I also don’t think Parsons is as much of a dominant, game-changing talent as people think. He gets a lot of garbage-time sacks. For example, he was absolutely invisible when the Bills dismantled Dallas two years ago.
