Dolphins OL Bayron Matos airlifted to hospital after training camp injury
Simon replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall
According to my understanding of the rules, the Dolphins don't actually need to "do" anything; just accept the Bills request to provide their own shade. They routinely deny these requests from opponents. If I'm the Bills, I start popping canopies 5 minutes into the game, refuse to take them down and force the Dolphins and the league into a situation where they have to actively tear them down on national television in front of a few million people. -
100%. Im sure its not just Buffalo thats seen a game like that as a visitor either. Was probably on the extreme end, but wtf is the league and NFLPA thinking here? What else would be a homefield advantage? Make them play without helmets!!! Pump SARS into the visiting locker-room ventilation!!! Release some Grizzly bears with baby cubs on the away team sidelines!!! WHAT ARE WE EVEN DOING HERE?!?

Also, Terry doesn't get the credit, but he was doing his own stunts before Tom Cruise, ya dig?

89 belongs in the Hall of Fame. I let him know when I call WGR

I’m not saying he’ll be all pro, but wouldn’t shock me in the least if he turned out to be a good starter for them. Confidence is huge in sports, and I feel like he struggled with that here. Fresh start will be good for him, but, from an outsider’s perspective, I was never thrilled with how they appeared to handle Elam here.

🎯 Nothing underscores the total irrelevance of legacy media more than these two front pages, both willfully ignoring the biggest political scandal in American history: a sitting president, backed by corrupt intelligence officials, sabotaging the duly elected incoming president. We shouldn’t waste time moaning about their failure. We should celebrate it. There’s no point in propping them up or giving them life support by pretending they still matter. I get that people of a certain generation, myself included, still have that reflexive reaction: oh wow, it’s in the paper. But that’s just a ghost of an old world clinging to us, a relic of a time when these institutions had meaning. Old media is dead and that is a beautiful thing.

Reason #1 I side with the players in $$ disputes. Especially the rookie scale/veteran minimum types of disputes (much less so with the Hendrickson types, but still on their side usually), like the 2nd rounders this year. NFL is Not For Long, and most of the dudes drafted don't go on to make the big $$. If, and thankfully it sounds like he hasn't, this guy wound up on a wheelchair, hed be absolutely F'd. But even if its lower end injury, and his career ended and he cant work blue collar type jobs. Everyone should be able to run around and play with their kids, have physical hobbies/stay in shape after they get out. Billionaires could and should take better care of these bottom rostered guys

This is all about a smoke screen. While child trafficking is heinous and gets everyone's attention, especially regarding trump and many others, the real issue that will be ignored is the deep state billionaires behind Epstein. The world money movement, the weapons sales, the CIA and massod connections, Wexnar etc. This is a spy organization unlike any uncovered since Philby and the Cambridge connections. Epstein is not a master mind, just a middleman, knowing how to blackmail, knowing how to work the international circuit, incredible spy, who had an ending like Maxwell (falling off a yacht) and many others.

Stadium Construction Discussion (No PSL/Seat selection posts)

Especially when the home opener is also a celebration of the Bills first Super Bowl -
Yup. I honestly believe most of those hating so much on Maddy Glab likely hate almost any woman talking football. They almost never say the actual specifics of why they dislike her so much. She seems very well prepared for each show, someone who does her research and has the details and analysis to make for a good show. Loved Tasker as a player, but he doesn't seem nearly as prepared for his show as Maddy does, and definitely not as into it as she is. I also like that she clearly has gotten better and better each year she has been part of the Bills. Much more knowledgeable and better on air. A nonsensical thread, to me, strange twisting of the example and bashing just to bash.

Bishop appears to be firmly entrenched as the starter. -
Then Darnold was bad in Carolina and SF. He was no better with the Jets than Fields was with the Bears. In fact, Fields improved with the Bears, while Darnold regressed with the Jets. Fields went to his next stop and went 4-2 (with 2 losses by a FG) prior to being replaced by Russ. The Steelers got worse finishing the year with 4 straight losses (to mostly good teams). Fields was traded for a 6th because EVERYBODY knew he was being replaced by Caleb Williams and they didn’t need to send any decent assets. Context matters here. Fields after Chicago was in better shape as a prospect than Darnold after the Jets.

How the Texans' Blood Stunt Affected the Bills' Run Game

This is suggesting is works best on porous offensive lines. Do the Bills really qualify as a below average OL? Would love to see a breakdown of how often this was used against the Bills vs other teams. -
