I'm guessing the Bills were never that seriously involved in any of these WR trade talks. And maybe that's because the brain trust doesn't see scoring points as major issue. The big lesson coming from the Chiefs game was how critical an effective pass rush is for this team's defense which looks bad on the back end without it. If they do anything it will be defensive line. Hoping for a splash like Hendrickson but the cap is going to be an issue.

I think the fact that the Biden DOJ sought three years, and he was ultimately sentenced to 90 days is pretty interesting as it relates to what the guy did, or didn't do. Typical white collar crime on a large scale. No need to remind me on Trump's comments, it was yesterday. I've already addressed that. I'll take it one step further--I do not think, generally, that a President sits, reviews, and deeply considers the ramifications of every pardon they grant or decline. I don't think they are round-tabled, that victim impact statements are sought or considered. I think recommendations are made, political relevance and the greater good for candidate and party are taken into consideration, and off we go. I think people tend to look very closely at things like this, but only when it's the other guy doing it.

That's awful. Sucks for him and it sucks for us. This sounds like it could be Derrick Burroughs all over again. Wasn't the injury in practice too? The body can only take so much punishment playing football between practices and games over a lifetime.

I think it is very odd for the Colts. They probably aren't sustainably good. Sauce has shown warts the past 2 seasons. I guess it is really good for the Jets. They need a deep rebuild and by the time they are ready to compete, Sauce will have slowed down (3 years?)

Sad news. I recall cornerback-turned safety Aaron Williams having a neck injury and coming back but only for a short while before ending his career, I think. I hope this is not similar. Seems like a good and talented young man raised by a pro player.
