If that were true we wouldn't have the list of atrocities from the Vatican throughout history. At some point the Vatican became something else political and not the Church. I'm not a historian to know exactly when but that's how I feel. I believe in the apostle's creed and recite it every night. I just don't maintain that a powerful human run organization is in lock step with the will of God the Father. If Satan is among us that is the first place he would attack (there is a bunch of closed churches around me that say that's true). God gave people free will. I'm not sure why anyone would believe a bunch of human priests with an agenda would be "the will of God." How arrogant. Humans are flawed.
