I saw another post about the running game limiting Allens mistakes. That and this is 100% right. Allen can do this once or twice a game and it is what makes him unstoppable. Those plays dont sustain offense. Look at the years Manning, Brees, Big Ben and other Qbs on offensive led teams had poor run games and defenses. They would have years at the top of the league in ints. Its not rocket science. They have to do more. They have to fit that window, they take the 50/50. 2/10, 3/10 plus its what you have to do. 2nd 6 and under, 3-5 and under is a different sport. I go back to Sean Payton talking about his best seasons with Brees. When as a play caller he was able to limited the times Drew had to drop back and be great. For Allen the fewer amount of times he needs a cap the better. Hand off, screens, sight quick passes. Vs this coverage this guy is open here. Those are what makes a good OC. Josh aint exactly a getting a Victorias Secret cover himself either. I guarantee they are both freaking absolute units under that layer(s) of fat. Theres probably something to staying healthy with the few extra pounds on their frame. You cant exactly add 15-20 clean pounds (muscle) to their frames in an off-season or even a career. Can a guy who never stepped in a gym before get some "quick" (1-2years) gains like that? Sure... but these guys are physical specimen. Not enough has been said about KC trading Thuney when their O-line was already shaky. If there is one thing that I think slows their offense way more its the O-line not being nearly as good as it has been in prior years.
