Yup, I'm thinking, like some others, Week 1 SNF vs. Ravens.

Totally fair question and good question - If you are going to pick what WR between the 2 years is the most accomplished or best overall player, the only correct answer is Diggs. But these are the considerations that also factor in: This is a 5 vs 5 comparison, not which of the 2 groups had the single most talented player. Talent is only part of the equation, its about how does that fit in within the offense we run. Diggs not only was no where near the same player in Brady's offense he had been during his tenure in Buffalo, but he wasn't even the leading receiver (Shakir was) during that period despite double the targets of anyone else under Brady. Josh I fully believe is better without him than with him and the tension he brings. Was Diggs still a strong WR1 in 2023, yes of course. Was he as good as he had been his first 2 years in Buffalo where he was a top 5 WR in the NFL, not IMO. Was he as good as he was in 2022...maybe, but he didn't look like it the 2nd half of 2023 in Brady's system and had costly drops, including one that could changed the outcome of the KC game on a dime bomb from Allen. And honestly I thought he faded some the 2nd half of 2022 and postseason too under Dorsey. I was a big Diggs guy, my dogs name is Diggs. This isn't to throw shade at him. I was even one of the ones (who was totally wrong) and put his foot in his mouth and thought there was no chance Beane would take the massive cap hit to move him when we did and thought he would instead do it in 2024 if things remained tense with him and Allen/Team. But make no mistake about it, I was also very confident that we got better as a team and offense through addition by subtraction when we moved on from Diggs drama and let Gabe leave. And if you check my 2023 offseason history, you will see that wasn't just hindsight, I was very vocal about that belief. During the season in 2023, I started threads demanding things like calling for Dorsey to get fired, less snaps for Gabe and more for Shakir, etc. In the offseason, I started the Calling it now thread on Shakir the day after Diggs was traded, kept telling everyone Mack Hollins is better than people think and will have a real role in the offense, that the offense would still be top 5 in the NFL, we might see Josh Allens most efficient and best season, and that it would maybe be Allens best shot at MVP when he does given the perceptions heading into the season about the WR room. I said all those things a lot all offseason. So while I know Diggs is the best "individual", I don't think just having him in the WR room makes it the best group for this offense and Allen. Nor do I think the 2023 version of Diggs is talented enough to erase the deficit I think the rest of the 2023 group faces in comparison to the 2025 group. Just my 2 cents

Is there an NFL team with a weaker WR group than the Bills?

AJ Brown complained about his targets all the way to the Super Bowl. Theres something in the water when it comes to WRs -

I agree, but they got 11 pages out of it. -

Not defending this because he’s an idiot. Also, Tua doesn’t belong in the top 5. Apparently though he started by saying, “excluding Tua here are my top 5” or something like that. The story has gone viral but evidently it’s not really accurate. -

So our chances for going to a SB depend on nursing and hockey?

No reason not to

Diggs wasn't a burner but he was excellent at creating separation and that's why Allen and him had such great chemistry. Josh is a very visual QB and an average NFL starting QB anticipatory thrower. He usually waits until he sees a WR open and then uses his bazooka arm to get it there. It's why having a WR with separation skills is more important to him than someone like Joe Burrow. That was my problem with the Keon Coleman pick and why I was hoping to hear Ladd McConkey was the 33rd pick after day 1 last year..

And everyone would be making fun of you as well. -
Thats where I don’t agree. He plays the least risky player, which doesn’t give you the best chance to win, it just lowers the mistakes. When a guy hasn’t been in camp and the other guys are doing well, he won’t displace the worker.

It's never higher than about a 25% chance even for the greatest teams, so I'd give the Bills about a 20% chance. This is why it is foolish to ever expect a superbowl. The odds are far too low to ever expect it. It's something you hope for, not expect.

Why would I? After years of abuse, why would this year be different? 13 seconds was the year. Window is shut.

I believe in jinxes. 😐

More confident than usual because on paper it's the easiest path to the number one seed we've had. There's so much luck and randomness involved in those late Divisional and Conference Championship rounds I'd pry go with around a 25% chance to get there. Lower than some on here but much higher than the Vegas betting line.

Do you believe Superbowl this year?

I do believe in the Superbowl. In fact, I KNOW it exists. I watch it every year. As for all your other weird comments, thanks for letting us know.

While we are engaged in our yearly WR complaint session, one of the key members of one of the best WR rooms in the league went on IG and didn't include his starting QB in his personal top 5. It's causing quite the stir this spring as the temperatures begin to rise in South Florida. You can read all about it right here: https://finheaven.com/threads/tyreek-reeking-again.387172/ -
Malaki Starks wants to pick off Josh Allen most
MJS replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall
I disagree there. Players say it has an impact and I believe it does. Is the impact huge? Sometimes. In very rare situations. For instance, Jordan Phillips playing really well against the Dolphins for the first couple times we faced them after he came here. Clearly, he had extra motivation and that manifested in his play on the field. Usually, though, the impact is small. But I do think it has an impact. Players are human, and they play a very physical game that causes a lot of mental and physical stress. They use stuff the media or other players/coaches say to get fired up and motivated. They say it has an impact and I believe them. I think this particular case is nothing, though. It is not like the Ramsey situation at all. Nor do I really think Allen was targeting Ramsey in those games. I think there is too much on a QB's plate to be focused on that, but I could be wrong. -
I am quite certain there will be a Super Bowl this year. I can feel it in my bones. I have no idea who will be playing in it.
