The Seahawks coming back to win was huge for Allen MVP chances, because the narrative for Stafford is so strong for Allen to jump him the Rams will need to be a wild card and the Bills will need to win their division (and likely #2 seed). For Allen to win MVP, the following need to happen: 1. Play well statistically the last few games. He can have maybe one more turnover. 2. Bills win out. 3. Pats lose to the Dolphins. 4. Rams lose to the Seahawks this Thursday night. If the Rams beat the Seahawks this Thursday, it is over. Stafford will win MVP, because the Rams will win their division.

I'm much more interested in the scenarios where the Bills lock up the 5 seed and can rest starters in the last week of the season. That seems more realistic. If the top seeds end up being as weak as everyone thinks they are, maybe 3 road teams win in the Wild-Card round and the Bills get to host a Divisional round and maybe even the AFCG.

I think this is all kinda pointless talk. If the Bills stopped the 65 yard TD run, they would’ve won the game by double digits. Sure if you stopped Cook, you might have won…. Or not. We can play the ‘what if’ games all day long. This game was simply a tale of two halves. The Bills got the better of the Pats in the half that mattered most today. There are many different ways to win a football game
