No tax on tips and overtime - people who work a full time job who don't make tips or have available overtime are now subsidizing them. SALT deductions reinstated to limit of 40k - doctors in NY are now being subsidized by an auto mechanic in Alabama. GOP at least extend tax cuts bu don't reduce spending in any real way. The usual they have to pass it though because of the slim majority they have. Trump when it comes to actual bills being passed through Congess has always been a RINO or part of the establishment you all loathe.

For the old timer married men here... What do you say to a cold one Mr. Peterson? See ya later Vera. Freaking classic! The writers were amazing

This is not incorrect in any way. Harrison was great at OSU. But let's not act like he doesn't have holes in his game. He is nowhere near the complete prospect that was sold. Receiver is perhaps the easiest position in the modern NFL to have a big impact as a rookie, and Harrison lagged behind many of his contemporaries that were picked later than him. If he doesn't take a big step forward MHJ should rightfully start to draw Kyle Pitts level of scrutiny.

I think Vrabel and Maye flame out mid-season. Miami has enough talent, experience, and continuity that they should be the better team. But you never know.

You have to understand, the GOP didn't want him any more than the D's did. But their rank and file DID want him. And after 4 years of hearing every day how he was going to destroy the country and cause WWIII during his 1st term, with neither actually occurring and after 4 years of watching the world burn during 46's term with inflation and illegal immigration running wild and his VP saying literally "nope, wouldn't change a single policy" independents held their noses and voted for him too. The GOP would MUCH rather have had a Romney or Jeb Bush as the president, but they didn't get their way either. And yes, his over the top NYC trash talking is beyond cringe way too often. And totally don't get his tariff centric economic policy. But his foreign policy is leaps and bounds better than what the D's have been putting forth for the past decade or so. And that fact that he believes we should actually have borders is also leaps and bounds better than anything the D's have put forth in at least the last decade.

I accept your first statement but we disagree on how to support them. As for Trump being a problem you act like the Russians have upped there attacks or something since Trump took over. The worst behavior was during Biden including the start of the war, pretending Trump started this problem or is making it worse is dumb.

It's not even close to projection. Even you know that Harris didn't select Shapiro because he was Jewish and they didn't want to offend the antisemites that make up a good percentage of the party. When selecting him probably gets Pennsylvania, while Minnesota was and has been firmly Dem. And yes, I'm sure Trump is building concentration camps for Jews as we speak. The first occupants will be his SIL and grandkids...

I’d say the second half of that list is way off. It kind of shows how few great WRs are playing right now

I've never really cared. Last year's Bills are kind of where the Lions are this year with both coordinators leaving. They might take a step back but they'll still be looked at as Super Bowl contenders. I always view it through the Vegas lens because that's where the true national public perception lies. We were at over/under 10.5 wins last year and 11.5 this year. Not much of a difference. When we have Allen in his prime at QB the spotlight and pressure will always be on us. It beats the "could sneak into a wildcard game" days though.

Stadium Construction Discussion (No PSL/Seat selection posts)

It will be interesting to see what/if they choose to do a ‘soft opening’ of the new stadium. I don’t recall such a pre-event back in ‘73 before the infamous traffic disaster that occurred when they opened Rich Stadium on the same night as the Erie County Fair. -
He is already a great emerging head coach, huh?

Good post. More importantly, we now have ~24 years of evidence, and being on Hard Knocks appears to correlate with a 99 percent plus rate of stasis/mediocrity/decline. The Bills agreeing to this is flabbergasting to me.
-
The Bills have to approve everything that HBO's allowed to put on all the episodes so it's up to them when it comes to the WR discussion.

I’ll be in Chicago the weekend the Bills play the Bears for a wedding. I’ve never been to Soldier Field - worth checking out?

I expect him to be a contributor in Dallas, he flashed quite a bit when he got a chance here. He also had a lot of mental lapses, so if the coaching there can reach him, he was a 1st round pick for a reason.
