So much for the chip in the ball and the supposedly new technology to spot the ball. 😤🤬
-
Obviously you have less of a chance of getting hurt handing off the ball what lol We also don't have a great ability to run for a first down on 3rd and one or third and two or second and one... A Josh Allen power sweep call is probably our best chance of picking it up And he doesn't have a high chance of injury on a design quarterback run Obviously turning around and handing it off he has basically no chance of getting hurt but we also don't have a good chance of picking up the first down We're better off Josh dropping back to pass and making the decision to throw or run on third and two or just running him with a power sweep than an inside zone up the gut on a well coached team with no threat of option or pass

A film crew would have appeared out of nowhere and he would have turned it into a wholesome public service announcement about fan behavior. -
to be fair though would this take disappear the first time Prater misses a kick? I don't have the confidence in Bass I would hope to have in my kicker. I mean no one is perfect but inconsistency in that field is a horrible look I'm torn. I think the Bills will decide when the time is appropo and I HOPE it is the next decision for the team Peter being stolen off the practice squad? aww hell naww that would be Bad. it would be epic meltdown mode 100% and rightfully so IMO The stakes are just too high in the window we have with #17 as our QB

I can't even imagine if prater continues to kick like he did last night, and after 4 weeks, bass comes back and starts missing fg's. This place will go crazy
-
No idea if this is true or not, but multiple announcers have said Allen likes a called early run to get some contact. That may be all non-sense but it has been said multiple times. They actually ran one of the goal line pushes between C and RG last night. First time I ever saw that. Allen was stuffed at the line.

Fan who shoved Hopkins/L. Jackson banned from NFL stadiums

That was inevitable. There was no chance he could’ve avoided that after doing what he did. Not sure if this was discussed in the original thread- what do you think Josh would’ve done if the roles were reversed? -
Will Prater Be Signed to the 53?

Thanks for the clarification. I didn't know about the protected element. -

They are absolutely using it. I was chatting up a security guard last season and they claim to get a few of these per game. Cameras will pick up on a banned individual, and then their command center radios down to security to get them out. -
Just another coincidence.

I think the ramifications of a guy trying to enter an NFL stadium after being banned is he gets arrested for trespassing if caught inside one. so banning is one thing. but being under arrest is another. The technology must exist he would be caught by facial recognition. Its a bit creepy. Can they be really 100% sure solely based on a persons facial recognition I don't know Im curious. But the trespssing charge is legit from what I understand -

The fan is an idiot and the Raven players taunting the fans are also bush, both things are true imo. They were going back and forth with the fans, and decided to do a flyby of the front row after scoring, all it took was one idiot and they found him. -
Will Prater Be Signed to the 53?
BillsFanForever19 replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
He'll be signed to the 53. Bass was put on IR to make room for him. The only reason it didn't happen before Week 1 is bc signing him when they put Bass on IR would have guaranteed Prater's salary for the entire season. By waiting until Wednesday, they can just pay him week to week. Why would we waive Bass and then add him to the PS? He's on IR. You roll with Prater on the 53 and evaluate his performance along the way and when Bass is healthy - you either activate him and release Prater if he hasn't looked good or if Prater is Perfect, you just keep Bass on IR. -
I don’t care about the least credit, but to anyone watching that game last night Josh Allen was on a different plane of existence. He was lethal, lights out, and was NOT going to lose that game. He’s always fighting and clawing for that win. It was an incredible football game, and I’ll just say that I’m happy that JA17 is our leader and QB at the helm of this ship. I had real chills from watching this classic, and make no mistake…this was a classic! There might not be a better NFL game all season than what we were privy to last night. Twas’ beautiful! 🤩

Eligible Receivers - 2pt Coleman Non-Catch
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to saundena's topic in The Stadium Wall
It means just walking back in bounds basically lol I don’t think you can hop straight from out of bounds and catch the ball then land with two feet in but just walking back inbounds after being forced out should’ve been more than fine 100% lol. There was some explanation of why the bills weren’t allowed to try again after committing an accepted penalty but they completely blew the force out explanation. Goes to show you how absolutely terrible that call was -
I'm no Einstein, but I think the unequivocal answer is both. QED.

Ethan in Cleveland replied to saundena's topic in The Stadium Wall
If you step out on your own you can't re-establish. If you are pushed out then you can. They must have determined he went out of bounds on his own. He was contacted in the end-zone. I guess it is a judgement call if he was pushed. They either blew the call or determined he went out on his own. Just a hunch but since he took at least three and maybe four steps OOB, I suspect they thought he went OOB on his own and wasn't making an immediate attempt to get back in the end-zone. I have not seen a replay since last night but the contact seemed to be at about 6 yards deep in the end-zone suggesting he may have been able to stop. Not saying it was the correct call, just saying what they had to judge. -
