  1. Past hour
  2. Advice to Steelers: Deploy the slippery rubber mats.
  3. Having insurance isn't the same as having State Farm. It's like getting the protection of Bateman when you need Batman. Maybe he should go do a podcast or something.
  4. Early June is probably the right time for the endorsement. If too early, no one is paying attention. If too late, there’s not enough time to fully take advantage of the publicity boost AOC’s name recognition provides. Now we just need an endorsement from Bernie… Trust me when I say that no one who knows Zohran personally is afraid he would impose Sharia law on NYC! Far-left politicians, nationwide, have virtually an impeccable record respecting the Establishment Clause. NYC is also the most culturally diverse city in the world and likely in human history. It’s a source of pride here. Being Muslim isn’t going to hurt Zohran like some outsider pundits stuck in the 9/11/01 worldview want to think. I’m actually begging Andrew Cuomo to dig deep into that Islamophobia campaign playbook because I think it will backfire spectacularly on him and because Zohran needs every potential advantage he can find in such a close race. Cuomo has already begun that descent with his recent “anti-Zionism = anti-Semitism” rhetoric, but we have less than three full weeks of campaign runway remaining. An Emerson College poll from last week showed Cuomo defeating Zohran 54.4% to 45.6% in the tenth round of ranked-choice voting. This essentially means Zohran has three weekends to convince 1 out of every 20 primary voters to switch their ballot order between him and Andrew.
  5. Don't tell McDermott. He will try and play it safe and not even attempt extra points. The Bills have had 2 hail Marys work against them in recent memory and have a QB that can throw 80 yards. How many hail Marys have they tried? McDermott said it's too risky of a play...for the offense because the defense could intercept it and return it for a TD 🫩
  6. I have a friend that was a sound guy for rock bands in the 70s and 80s. He worked with every big rock band, and saw shows just about every night. I asked who the best band live he’s ever seen. He instantly said “The Tubes”. I was shocked. But he described the theatrical scene. It must of been a crazy show, because that dude has been up close and seen Stones, Sabbath, Dead, Zep etc
  7. We're still waiting on a good post from you. Keep trying, I'm sure you'll get there.
  8. And the wind confusion coefficient
  9. Starters are pretty much set, as are many depth guys from the previous season. The games are largely a bunch of back benchers and soon to be cut scrubs struggling to get a spot. Once the games end, 40% of the summer roster instantly disappears.
  10. The damage Musk did is done, nothing he said in the last few days has changed that. I'll be the last one to ever buy an electric car but this idea that everyone is going to suddenly go back to buying teslas is just charter on a message board.
  11. Strange. So an XP block returned to the far endzone isn’t 1 point? 😳🤔
  12. Looks like some of you NYSEG customers (depending on your location) are in for a rebate. https://www.thedailynewsonline.com/news/nyseg-customers-to-get-rebate-after-settlement/article_8290bc78-67a1-434d-8634-03fd52f84a0d.html
  13. Right! Keep dreaming.
  14. Tomlin don't even care anymore---just cashing checks, daring poor old man Rooney to fire him.
  15. he will be at maxicamp
  16. "outsnapped"? lol, ok. let's run with that. 626 yards over 747 snaps for Sanders is 0.84 yards per snap. Compare to 549 yards over 410 snaps for Davis yielded 1.34 yards per--a whopping 59% difference in efficiency of utilization between the 2. Let's now add in that every pass Davis caught in 2021 (35) was either a TD or a 1st down. Compare that to Sanders, where 35 of 42 passes were TDs (fewer than Davis) or 1st downs. you will now conclude that Davis was a more efficient WR when he was in the game than Sanders--good work!
  17. Today
  18. I’m in the camp as some others. Let him play out his rookie contract this year. Tag him in 2026, and draft one in the 2nd or 3rd rd in the 2026 draft. I wouldn’t do an extension for him. You have to be the complete deal to get an extension like a Barkley, or Henry. There so few RB’s who can do it all.
  19. Ive made this same point 100 times here. The problem is the people making those claims don't care about reality. When you tell them college educated people voted for Trump they will just say "alot of idiots go to college." When they call him a racist and you point out a lot of minorities voted for Trump they will just say "They probably regret that now" The real issue is the superiority complex these people have. Make no mistake about it, no matter the reality, they think they are smarter than you. They think they know more about your life than you do. Its hubris.
  20. You guys know they flipped to Udacy a few years ago, and as far as content on WGR, that’s in the eye of the beholder. I don’t mind the Jeremy and Joe morning show, and when Sal does the extra point show, he’s interesting to me. I work in medical sales so I’m in the car in and out all day. I’ll never listen to the afternoon show as they are bafoons. I usually switch to the Movin the Chains guys in the afternoon. Besides, Steve Tasker can’t finish a thought so that’s painful. Besides, it’s certainly better than all the hot take silliness on the sports tv stations.
  21. That's easy to say from the sidelines but the fact is he's got to get this bill through without Democratic support. It's very difficult to do when you have a slim majority in both the House and Senate. That's the reality of being president as you have to make pragmatic decisions on what you think is best for the party at this moment. It's impossible to please everyone.
  22. I will come out of my hole to evangelize for NFL+ Premium (for however long that lasts) because honestly it gives me way more for my money at $100 for the year. I have been an out of market fan for over a decade now so the struggle is real. I did NFL Sunday ticket when it (finally!) was offered as a separate package and it worked out to ~$100 per Bills game I watched on it. Between the sheer number of Primetime games I get all of them between services I already use (Sling for NBC & ESPN exclusively when it's football season and Amazon Prime because it's worth the money) and that the Bills are a main draw making free local broadcast a thing, more than half the season is already available for me to watch NFL Premium doesn't let you see out of market games live. What is *does* do is give you NFL Red Zone and have the official streams to the WGR broadcast and...I'm not going to lie, I enjoying listening to the local radio team a whole lot more than Chris Collingsworth. There is a slight time delay where I will see a play on RedZone before I hear it, but the radio commenters give me the leadup and context to understand the play. Then, by bedtime, there is a full replay of the game for me to watch every minute over. Plus, as we hit the doldrums of summer, I can go back and rewatch my favorite games from last year. Unfortunately, I think that's something that out of country fans only get. Yeah I tried making a trip to my local Bills bar a thing but that was hard to do when I had time (now with kids) and it was hard on the wallet (even more with kids) and as I've drastically cut my drinking, not as much fun to hang around at. My problem with Sunday Ticket was how little I got out of it.
