  1. Past hour
  2. Am I really the first person to fact check you in this megathread? What has made you so violently change your tune here, Tibsy? Why all the blood lust 10 years later? Or is it that you feel guilty about your earlier position?
  3. Possibly, but so far my niece and nephews have all turned out alright, so who knows 🤷‍♂️
  4. I did a playoff bracket on NHL.com and was really happy with how I've done so far. I had Florida and Edmonton as the two teams in the finals and according to NHL.com I got 71% of my picks correct. My ranking in this thing? 28,690 🤣🤣🤣
  5. Personality wise.....he's one of my favorite guys on the team. I like him as a player too. I forgive his drops. For whatever reason, I couldn't forgive Gabe's drops as much. Good tight ends are hard to come by. I think he's a good football player and I'm happy we have him. He took a pay cut so this board had to shut up a bit. He's worth 7 million dollars and a guaranteed contract next year.
  6. I would spend the money on condos any make me the owner
  7. I am not sure if you are one of the ones who argued Colorado could remove him from the ballot but this one is almost that bad. If it has to get all the way to the supreme court, they will overturn in 7-2 based on judge not recusing himself, on improper application of law, and improper instructions from the judge. These are not minor things individually, much less in aggregate.
  8. The judge they won't be mad about is the trump appointed Hunter judge, unless of course he does something they don't like. Then he's dEeP sTaTe.
  9. Today
  10. I love the song and the album "Urban Hymns" is superb. An interesting titbit about Bitter Sweet Symphony: "Bitter Sweet Symphony" is based on a sample from a 1965 version of the Rolling Stones song "The Last Time" by the Andrew Oldham Orchestra. The Verve added strings, guitar, percussion and vocals. They obtained rights to use the "Last Time" sample from the copyright holder, Decca Records, but were denied permission from the Rolling Stones' former manager, Allen Klein. Following a lawsuit, The Verve relinquished all royalties and the Rolling Stones members Mick Jagger and Keith Richards were added to the songwriting credits. In 2019, ten years after Klein's death, Jagger, Richards, and Klein's son ceded the rights to The Verve songwriter Richard Ashcroft.
  11. GB, thanks for sharing and to counter, the only game I’ve missed is the SB with GB as I had to travel to CA for a work training. It’s not a Bills game, but it’s the only SB I’ve missed since the mid to late 70’s as I didn’t follow football before. I’m just not that old.
  12. I remember watching this game with my dad. I was 11. I told him I thought they were going to block that FG
  13. Sorry for being a PITA but maybe you got Kobe Bryant mixed up with someone else? Kobe was well known for worling hard but it wasn't because he didn't think he was incredibly talented. He was well known for his supreme arrogance regarding his athletic ability. The guy was drafted into the NBA out of high school . A player (especially someone from a well off family) does not declare for the draft out of high school if they didn't think pretty highly of themselves nor does the NBA draft players out of high school because they try hard.
  14. Well Liam Gallagher was awsome. A set list of pure joy. Some of the old B sides were so unexpected but brought back memories in my head I didn't l know I had. Set list: Rock 'n' Roll Star (Oasis song) Columbia (Oasis song) Shakermaker (Oasis song) (Liam Gallagher solo live debut) Up in the Sky (Oasis song) (Liam Gallagher solo live debut) Digsy's Dinner (Oasis song) (Liam Gallagher solo live debut) Bring It On Down (Oasis song) (first time since 2018) Cloudburst (Oasis song) (Liam Gallagher solo live debut) I Will Believe (Oasis song) (Liam Gallagher solo live debut) Half the World Away (Oasis song) (Liam Gallagher solo live debut, first time singing lead vocals, dedicated to Noel Gallagher) D'Yer Wanna Be a Spaceman? 15. Personally, I'm worried about our younger folks. It's not that they don't have any taste, it's just that
  16. It also helps them justify their draft picks. I am not a Beane basher but this is just human nature. Not all players even who are just good need a second contract unless that value is truly there.
  17. But I'm not sure McDermott being in a make-or-break season is a reality. Nothing that the Bills have done or said this off-season leads me to believe that is the case. I still think they'd have to miss the playoffs for there to be a change.
  18. Yea he was elite but for a shorter period. He was considered something of a 1st round bust in Chicago but he had a solid 5 year period there with the Panthers where he was right at that elite level and was a bona fide #1 weapon on that team. As you say he isn't in the Gronk, Kelce, Gonzalez tier but he had a solid period of elite play in his career.
  19. Diggs was unique in that his personality became too big and we could get valuable trade assets in return (a likely high 2nd rounder next year). We're not getting that for Knox. Knox may be overpaid but he's bound to have a better season than last year. I trust Brady more than Dorsey to try and make him and Kincaid both part of the passing offense especially without the offense running through Diggs anymore.
