  1. Past hour
  2. Worthy's shoulder isn't fully healed and he left last weeks game early. Ideally he stays hurt throughout the rest of the season. That said Kelce is still a mismatch for most defenses including ours that import to keep an eye on. As is Rice. Hollywood Brown think can be held in check and depending on who's covered JuJu he could be a problem too. That said Chiefs defense has some questions on the Dline and secondary themselves.
  3. I think it is also fair at this point to ask whether there is something about the defensive scheme, or possibly the type of players McDermott favors, that leads to higher injury rates. This defense is decimated with injuries year after year after year. We’re reaching the point where it’s hard to believe it’s just a coincidence.
  4. When we had Thurman, he was a mismatch in the passing game for the LB's of his day. Can we draw up some plays where Cook is used in a similar fashion. Cook has impressed me with his ability to change direction in space, which should give defenses a lot to think about if we use him effectively.
  5. Oh absolutely, but honestly, what team doesn't? People used to freak out when we were a "No-Fly Zone" and teams averaged under 200 yards passing a game and they would see a few completions for like 20 or 25 yards and freak out and at the end of the game the QB would have thrown for like 178 yards, 1 TD and 2 INTs. And I have been guilty of that as well...you see a few big plays and you think they are getting crushed, but in the overall game, it's not anywhere close to as bad as you think. The only team that really put up numbers on us offensively were the Falcons.
  6. Jim Schwartz also had the benefit of having Mario Williams on his team as well as Kyle Williams and Jerry Hughes oh yeah and an inspired Marcell Dareus. If we fielded half those guys on our D-line things would look much better when it comes to sacks and turnovers. Hoecht should improve our pass rushing as to me he a superior player to Solomon and possibly AJE. That said the secondary needs help and hopefully Hairston can offer some of that too. Larry O will hopefully improve the run defense so things might start getting better the next few weeks.
  7. Agree about the roster Hondo. I do think James Cook is close to elite at RB. But after him there is quite the fall off. And that’s not good. I think if Kincaid can stay healthy and we scheme him for more targets he can become a very good TE. Elite is for a special few.
  8. Have you ever partaken of the content shared by the one now known as Homelander? Quite certain he/she/they is younger and is exceedingly angry. Have you ever commented on anything related to the former Billstime? The last one is a rhetorical question. Billstime used to love using the word freak. It’s everyone else that’s angry though.
  9. It all starts with getting pressure on the QB and if you can't do that (which we can't), then he's got all day to let his WR's find the soft spot and pick us apart. And for Christ's sakes, can we get out of the Nickle once in a while?!?..........no sense in hiding any D schemes, when the opponents already know you're going Nickle........oh, like they haven't seen the game tape from every game, from every season and it's still a mystery what system we're playing. Like, come on, man.
  10. You get your news from legacy media man. And then you talk about echo chambers. The iron friggin law is absolute. 😂
  11. Watson isn't getting top 10 WR money as Franchise tag not an option given his inability to stay healthy nor show he close to being an elite player at his position. Belton hasn't been great per PFF so he might be a tackler but not great in coverage.
  12. There are dozens of comments disputing the "attribution" of coaches... but no explanation of the color key... and no key in the chart. Damn you and your taunts... I must know what is grey! Damn you, sir!
  13. Terry has shown with the Sabres, that once he finds a deadbeat scrub of a HC, he rides that poor mule into submission, so judging from past experience, McD ain't going anywhere, Lombardi or not
  14. That’s a sobering response. But you are correct. Not enough bang for our buck. Hopefully they can lower Knox and Taron’s salaries for next season, or preferably cut them, especially TJ. He was good when he was healthy. But he is small and lost some quickness. Can Samuel even get on the field? He has some talent. But is always injured. Bernard is too small also. Makes some plays. And then always gets injured. Wash Rinse Repeat. Rousseau has the look of a stud, but rarely plays like it. I would rather have a George Karloftis who makes more plays consistently in KC’s scheme. And Benford looks like he is in the twilight zone likes he is smoking too much weed. Just seems a step or two slower than last year. We really need a jolt. Hopefully Hoecht Ogunjobi and Hairston can bring that. I also think Hancock is a missing piece. But I doubt the coaches agree because they are less than astute at evaluating talent. I sometimes wonder how smart McDermott actually is. I don’t think he could hold McVay’s I Pad of plays.
  15. I'd love to see a Schwartz led defense with Josh Allen as team QB.
  16. The Detroit goal scorer was surrounded by Blue jerseys that were all close enough to make a play but were watching the puck and not anticipating. It strange how often the Sabres are in a solid position defensively but fail to impact the play. Its less strange that they find themselves wildly out of position and giving up breakaways but Ellis looked calm as could be when called upon. Team defense is definitely improving in year 2 of Lindy's term but there are things to clean up.
  17. That's fair. And the fact that they're statistically good is accurate. what I think a lot of the angst here is while they're good in the regular season, we know how it can play out in the post season. They're good over the course of a season or several seasons. But there's moments they get gashed in the run or pass game, or both. it's painful to the eyes. And it makes folks think it will absolutely happen in the post-season. The Bills don't have the wow factor in any elements of their defense. That's concerning.
  18. especially when your echo chamber posts the exact same article you did! you must all get the same rage bait. even the posters comment. it's all so perfect. i swear you crazy freaks like this *****.
  19. A lot of posters want everyone to be eternally grateful to McDermott for ending the drought and beating up on an incredibly weak AFC East for the last 5 years. At this point I’m over the regular season success.
  20. Issue with his defense (McDermott) has always been the same and will continue to be so- statically looking at a season really lacks an accurate picture of things-but stats are bs anyway -good QBs are never contained- they simply methodically tear us apart, then pressure on Allen to be a hero - this is why the playoffs seem to end the same way- if you are dealing with a strong coach and a good qb they are cooked
  21. About the officiating in the NFL, are we about to hear that Roger Goodell just fled the country...
  22. need much bigger lbs. 225lbs ain't cutting it.
  23. I think Green Bay only giving him a 1 year extension speaks volumes. They wanted to give him one more chance to stay healthy. The Packers also keep drafting receivers high every year, they might be on to something there. When Watson came out I thought he'd be really good too, it hasn't worked out. If you traded for him and put him on IR until January I have my doubts he'd be able to finish the season.
