Coach McDermotthas a higher winning percentage than Harbaugh, McVay, Carroll, Tomlin, Reid, and Payton at .656. By the way, that’s crushes Coach Levy’s winning record of .562. Guys, I’ll restate what I’ve said before in that it’s a short memory from 17 years of misery. I was on this board when we were perennial mediocre. I’m not willing to throw out the baby with the bath water. I’m just as frustrated as all of you with the championship and divisional losses. It rips my heart out, but affects more than just the coach.

If im Browns fan, I’d want them to start Sanders this year. He clearly has talent. His issue, based on his Colorado tape, will be negative plays. Which isn’t unique to a rookie QB, but his negative plays are insanely negative. Like 20 yard sacks negative. -
Do the Bills Even Have a Hated Division Rival?
Rockinon replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall
Of course they have a hated division rival. Three of them in fact. I hate them all. The rivalry doesn't end just because the Bills are good now. It continues until the Bills beat the Dolphins like they beat us in the 70's. They beat the Patriots like they did to us during the Brady years. And as far as the Jets go, the rivalry continues just for them being such complete douches through the years. -
Keon early, then Shavers to see if he can put together a statement game given his camp hype. Hancock and Strong, specifically Hancock as he’s an intriguing prospect and I’m hoping he can elevate the ceiling at NCB/Safety. The DL. Not just Sanders, Walker and Jackson, but second year Carter and Solomon. Doubt we see much of Oliver, Jones, Epenesa, Rousseau and Bosa. The young guys are the key, along with Hoecht when he comes back, to us getting to the Super Bowl (imo). If these guys hit, this DL has Eagles ‘24 level potential. And say what you want, but Walker was a first round pick after his first year, then second year back issues. If we found a way to mitigate those issues, watch out….

Do the Bills Even Have a Hated Division Rival?
Maine-iac replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall
Automatically hate everyone in the AFC east. The Colts used to be included in that but they get a pass now. Chiefs took over after the Pats as the most hated AFC team. -
They’ll try anything to avoid another slow start.

I understand why he isn't on the list. But he should be. Objectively, he is better than guys on the list.

I mean just because it says stunts in the headline doesn't mean it's accurate. The world of clickbait bull#### for headlines needs to go away. It needs to go away real ***** fast

It's only going to get worse among those Bills fans who frequent sports talk radio and Bills message boards. Thousands of Bills fans attend SJF training camp. Thousands attend the Return of the Blue and Red practice. Bills jerseys and merchandise are everywhere. The stadium is always full. As long as the Bills continue to make the playoffs and win playoff games, McDermott isn't going anywhere. Short of McDermott having some kind of health issue or somehow running afoul of Pegula, Beane or Allen, he's going to be Bills HC until/unless he decides to leave, whether he wins a Super Bowl or not. I'll take the insanity of winning the division, making the playoffs, and winning playoff games over and over. It beats the crap out of going 0-20 against the Dolphins between 1970 and 1979, going 12-36 against the Patriots between 2000 and 2016, and missing the playoffs for 17 straight seasons. BTW, any "stud coach" who would be available would either have been fired from his previous gig, a collegiate HC looking for a bigger pay day or be an unproven coordinator.

Well, I mean if he's just going to say it.

I'm rewatching the game on NFL Network right now. He isn't doing very well against the Panthers 1s. First two drives were busts. -
Look, Trubitsky isn’t good. Let’s not get that confused here…I don’t want to be misunderstood. I live an hour from MetLife stadium. Mike White is horrible. He’s not even close to Trubitsky. He sucks. He doesn’t belong in the league. The other guy Buschelle has zero physical ability. I have no clue how a 3rd string QB has not a single attribute that you’d covet. The 3rd string guy should be a rocket arm that you have to teach accuracy to or a runner that you try and make a passer. Why you’d even roster a guy with no skill is beyond me. Most NFL backups are barely capable of being in the league. You can do a lot worse than Mitch. He can run, he knows the offense, he can make throws at a level that’s borderline normal. I’m not saying the guy should be starting for teams, but as a backup…we can do ALOT worse.

against the Panthers in preseason, almost like it was still college. -
Defensive Line. I'd love to say the WR battle, but it has been proven over the years in preseason that when Allen isn't in there, they don't have the best opportunities to catch the ball. That said, if we get the All-22 for this game like we should, that is a position I will revisit on tape where I can just focus on the release packages of each guy and to see if there is separation being created regardless of the ball getting to them on time. Quite honestly, with no gameplanning, it's tough to judge certain positions. That said, we can watch the offensive and defensive lineman and get a pretty good understanding of who is winning the one on one matchups. You won't see a ton of pulling and misdirection here. The preseason is more about a man whooping another man and the best place to see that is in the trenches. Sanders and Walker got a lot of buzz early in camp for making plays but we didn't hear a ton about them late in camp whereas it was pretty much the opposite for Jackson who we didn't hear of doing much early, but seemed to flash the last few days. I know he was on PUP heading into the start of practices even though he was there from day 1, but I am wondering if it just took him a bit to get back up to speed and that's why we didn't hear from him much early. Regardless, the time is now to show what you have and these are the guys I want to be seeing win one on one matchups. I don't expect to see the starters much, some of the key guys I don't expect to see at all, which should give these young bucks a lot of run today. So, that's where my focus will be today. Much like the WR position I mentioned earlier, going back and taking a look at the safety play later will be interesting too. They just aren't on the screen enough on the TV broadcast to get a true representation as to what is going on there.

Like Dion would even deny it if he did say that.
