Absolutely, with a certain degree of moderation. I feel like it brings back childhood memories, and I’ll often listen when I need a subtle reminder that the season is supposed to be more than a commercialized expensive rat race. Mood lighting, good bourbon and an excellent rendition of Silent Night on my higher end hifi equipment works for me (especially the bourbon)

I don't know. Maybe it's just my age showing, but the eye test is still the most important and accurate way to evaluate. And the eye test hasn't been pretty this year. When you start getting all these advanced metrics and the stats within the stats (which almost always eliminate context) they start contradicting themselves.
