Scenarios for winning the division; scenarios for winning the #1 seed
MDH replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
If the Bills win this week (then the next 2) in an ideal world they want the Broncos to lose to GB, beat Jax then lose to KC. That would set up a week 18 scenario where if the Pats lose to MIA and the Bills beat the Jets the Bills get the 1 seed. Odds of all this happening aren’t good but that’s the best/easiest path to the 1. -
The Pats could definitely lose to Miami. If a player didn't step out of bounds by an inch in the 1st match-up, they would have in that one - and Miami is playing really well right now.

The Worthy Trade Keeps Looking Worse and Worse
Cotton Fitzsimmons replied to Bills Costa Rica's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agree that Mahomes isn’t playing well. If you look at his production over the last 3 seasons it’s really fallen off from where he was earlier in his career. The Chiefs kept winning so it was overshadowed somewhat, but clearly the loss of prime Tyreek Hill and Kelce has made him less effective. It’ll be interesting to see where his career trajectory ends up post Andy Reid as well, assuming he also retires in the next couple of years. -

This Viral Clip of Walz and Newsom Talking About 'Masculinity' is Comedy Gold Matt Margolis A podcast clip from earlier this year featuring Tim Walz and Gavin Newsom is going viral again, and for good reason: it’s pure comedy gold. The two Democratic governors sat down for an episode of This Is Gavin Newsom back in March, and during their 50-minute conversation, they briefly shared their thoughts on masculinity. Yes, masculinity. The irony already writes itself. In the now-viral clip, Walz claimed that the critics who come after him aren’t upset about policy differences or leadership failures. No, Walz said it’s because they “feel threatened” by his brand of masculinity. “I think some of us scare them,” he told Newsom, adding, “I think I scare them a little bit. That’s why they spend so much time on me.” He was dead serious, too. https://pjmedia.com/matt-margolis/2025/12/09/this-viral-clip-of-walz-and-newsom-talking-about-masculinity-is-comedy-gold-n4946884

Stadium Construction Discussion (No PSL/Seat selection posts)
PromoTheRobot replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
Ha, yeah well, I didn't want to be out in the cold at all! My current seats are right up against the clubs so I get some heat and coverage. And I didn't get into the selection process early enough to get the exact seats I wanted. These were one of the few left that meet my desires. We'll see. -
I’m just gonna say Nate Clement’s. I’m sure there was one back in the day that was sweet and important.

yet they are doing enough to be successful and put the team in position to win games.

The usual suspects sobbing and crying about the EU will happily support this policy. Because they’re dumb!

It's Time to Mandate Vaccines
B-Man replied to The Frankish Reich's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Supreme Court Vacates Ruling That Upheld New York School Vaccine Mandate by Zachary Stieber The Supreme Court on Dec. 8 vacated a ruling upholding New York’s ban on religious exemptions to its school vaccine mandate and ordered a lower court to review its stance on the ban. The case is known as Miller v. McDonald. Justices vacated the March decision from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, which had found the legislation banning religious exemptions to vaccination requirements was “neutral on its face” and did not “target or affirmatively prohibit religious practices.” The justices directed the appeals court to reconsider its ruling in light of Mahmoud v. Taylor, a Supreme Court ruling in June that sided with parents who wanted the ability to opt their children out of interacting with books in school that promote lesbian, gay, and similar lifestyles. Justices did not say how the appeals court should ultimately rule after reviewing Mahmoud v. Taylor. https://www.theepochtimes.com/us/supreme-court-vacates-ruling-that-upheld-new-york-school-vaccine-mandate-5955708 https://www.supremecourt.gov/search.aspx?filename=/docket/docketfiles/html/public/25-133.html https://www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/24pdf/24-297_4f14.pdf -
Game week thread - Bills at Patriots*
TheFunPolice replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thank you! Every single year we have the same discussion (as football fans). Everything is set in stone, Team A is "done" Team B is going to run away with whatever. Then Will Levis, a man who adds mayonnaise to his coffee, come out of nowhere and takes down a division leader and resets the entire thing. The thing is, this happens EVERY YEAR. There are always upsets or games nobody saw coming that totally change things. Just this season: Miami led us 16-0 in the second half and eventually blew us out after firing their GM and trading players away. Cleveland beat Green Bay and made Love look horrible. The pathetic Falcons blew us out on MNF Joe Flacco threw for like 600 yards and 7 TD to beat the Steelers 97-96 (I'm exaggerating but that game was drunk) This season has some more craziness to it. Every NFL team has talent and some guys are getting an opportunity for the first time and want to live their dream and build a career for themselves. It's their Super Bowl. Oh another one: the Saints just beat the Bucs last week! -
Damn these white people
JDHillFan replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Goodness. It is you, a 70 yo befuddled white man and stalwart defender of Justice Brown Jackson, that has repeatedly referred to another Ivy League educated justice, one of color, as an Uncle Tom. EVERYONE understands that is a racial slur. Regarding stupidity - think “Susan Collins, who I went to school with”. -

The excuse list for this McDefense is longer than the actual Defensive play sheet. -
If New England wins (Next Week), they officially win the East.
Sweats replied to SoonerBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Maybe NE runs the table and maybe they don't and maybe this game means very little to Buffalo, however, if the Bills have their backs against the wall in December, i'll take those odds alllllllllllll day long. -
Surprised only a couple of people mentioned this one so far. This was the most insane I think I've ever seen fans at the Ralph. Hard to overstate how much the stadium erupted when this happened.

The Worthy Trade Keeps Looking Worse and Worse
BillsfaninSB replied to Bills Costa Rica's topic in The Stadium Wall
100% agree. I was thinking at the time it might happen and I would’ve been happy with that. I have been more of a draft a position of need over best athlete available person. But with the Ford, Basham, Elam pick and now Coleman, I’m over that. -
Phins have actually been playing well lately. It’s not likely they beat the Pats but it’s not a ridiculous notion. It’s not an “over” discussion. Gabe tends to line up at X and Palmer at Z. Gabe is playing over Coleman, not Palmer.

Regarding the OP's initial question, I believe that Josh has absolutely played himself back into the race. And his credentials for this season are remarkable: -- Broke the record for most rushing TDs by a QB -- Became the first QB with 20+ TD passes and 10+ TD runs for multiple seasons -- Is the only QB to have beaten Joe B, Lamar and Mahomes all in the same season -- On pace for career best Completion % -- Multiple signature performances (Baltimore, Tampa Bay and Cinci) Beauty will be in the eye of the beholder. Despite Josh's accolades (and clearly having to do more with less surrounding talent), Maye and Stafford are certainly strong competitors for the MVP too. Maye's meteoric rise and key role in getting the Pats from worst to first in the AFCE certainly makes him worthy; if the Pats beat the Bills this weekend (regardless of how it transpires), it is hard to imagine voters giving the MVP to Josh over Maye who would have gone 2-0 against him this season. Stafford is playing at a ridiculously high level -- and his advanced age certainly could make him a sentimental favorite with voters.
