  1. Past hour
  2. Hmm - any news on Bass today? Or, I guess we will hear more this week. Ugh...
  3. I actually read about this a few weeks ago. Fox owns the majority media rights for BigTen football. Fox has invested millions into their Big Noon Kickoff brand. They go on site and use all their main tv personalities for the pregame and the game. Noon is the most watched CFB window over the past 4-5 years. They are not moving off that time slot for their big game each week. They also realize that in primetime, you have to compete with the big top 25 matchups on ABC, ESPN, NBC and they want the Big Noon Kickoff all to themselves. Doesn't mean they will have the only important noon game, but it will usually be a relevant B10 game or rivalry game. So that's your answer from what i recall.
  4. I have tempered my expectations, especially for week one.
  5. Before camp I was thinking 14 - 3, but the injuries have swapped some of my enthusiasm. Probably an overly emotional reaction but the injuries have made the defensive backfield a disaster in the making, and with questions at WR and PK its hard to stay so optimistic. I am going to say losses to Baltimore, Philadelphia, and KC all at home and then a weird loss at Atlanta. Lots of worry going into week 17 after a third home loss to the Eagles. But Allen puts on a show and they crush the Jets clinching home field. Division playoff game is a rematch with the Bengals and the AFC Championship is a McDermott career defining game against the Chargers. Win and he's coach for the foreseeable future. Lose at home to Harbaugh and they decide to part ways wit McDermott. In short, 13-4 with 3 home losses which sucks for the fans but still gets them home field.
  6. Not playing this game with “Elam busted so will Hairston”. Fact is we have a Top 12 CB1 and a RD1 CB just drafted. Theres not much more you can ask of from your team at Corner than that. No, if Kincaid doesn’t develop, they are average. Knox himself is an average TE. Kincaid has shown LaPorta/McBride flashes, but yes.. its potential. The floor is an average room. The WR’s are question marks, sure. I like this group, but I get why people need to see it to believe it. Allen went off last year and this years WR room has way more of a ceiling than last years. The DL is full of potential that needs to be realized. It’s not a bad group unless it proves to be one. Some outlets have us with a Top 5 DL in the league.. I won’t go that far, as it’s all potential, but like I said.. we’ll see. “What if” What if everyone gets hurt? What if this and that.. it is what it is. But on paper, Bernard/Milano could be an elite duo. Safety, ok, whatever. It’s a solid guy in Rapp and then potential in Bishop. You might be the only person on the planet who would think the Bills trading for Parsons wouldn’t make us Super Bowl favorites. Thats not a team too far away to pull the trigger.
  7. Pelvic injury last season… Pelvic last season. For some reason, thought he was injured more.
  8. BTW - I'm just amped up for the game. Not chasing you or putting you down... just really want this win! Go Bills!
  9. We should all know by now that Beane is never done.
  10. Carlsbad California. I think it's some Ratdog guys... I'll look. (as his band mates)
  11. Nice! I just checked his page and didn't see anything. Where and with what outfit is he playing this weekend?
  12. I "think" his plan is that we have Benford and Max as our starters, with White as BU. Let's get Max back before we panic. It will be tough for sure... but that is the plan. Taron will have to shade towards the #2 side all game.
  13. I said “if Kincaid doesn’t develop.” I think Knox will see more snaps at TE than Kincaid over the course of year & Knox is about a mid-tier TE.
  14. You have the patience of a saint! I'm tempted to mute the whole broadcast lol
  15. Thankfully we do, however, have independent video proof of his athletic prowess.
  16. The Bulls defense deserved better than last night, Promo. Not to rag, but they deserved so very much more than what their offense was able to do. If Pete had last year's O? Oh man, are you kidding me for 2025?! Go Bills, Go Bulls!
  17. I agree on Mason. I also think the chatter about Braelon Allen being a legitimate 1B to Breece's 1A and maybe even overtaking the lead role is real. He's been lighting up camp, and the new coaching staff seems to love him. I respectfully disagree on Pacheco. I don't think 30-year-old Hunt or Elijah Mitchell are taking meaningful snaps from him. By sheer workload and red zone opportunity alone, I think he finishes as a top 20 fantasy RB. If I'm wrong on Pacheco, then hopefully my Mason, Allen, Sampson, or Tuten tickets hit.
  18. Thanks - I'll take chocolate chip pot brownies please. Going to see Bobby Weir this weekend!
  19. If Benford is hurt, we are cooked. I hope it’s not some lingering concussion issue…
  20. Perfect season. Smash the Chiefs in the AFC finals and walk all over the Eagles in the Super bowl
  21. I'm not sure what Beane has in mind. What's the best-case scenario, realistically? That White is adequate and stays healthy all year? That seems risky, given his age and injury history. If he goes down or has hit the wall (or both), the cupboard is bare. Strong? He's promising but raw. Ingram? Yikes. Hope against all evidence that Hairston can fill in despite missing much of training camp as well as the first four weeks of the season? I'm waiting for a trade announcement just like two years ago, with a slate of extensions to make salary cap room. Not where you want to be with the season starting next week. Someone make me feel better.
  22. I hear week 3 and 6 are liars too.
  23. Ya know what? It was silly of me to dare to have a different opinion than you. I was under the mistaken impression that we're on a discussion forum. Nevermind the fact that I still predicted the Bills to finish 13-4 and claim the one seed, and that this is one of only four losses I've prognosticated for them. It was probably also silly of me to try to guess at the psychology of this game when you very clearly know it lock, stock, and barrel. I bow to your wisdom. You win. Your cookie is in the mail. Congratulations.
