  1. Past hour
  2. First, yes the coaching sucked, the platform calling was terrible. Next: when I saw your 20 something reply post, I could hear Darth Vader saying " Impressive... most Impressive " 😁
  3. hey guys I just want everyone to know....Tua completed 22 passes for under 150 yards. Do you think the reason we didnt get any pressure or sacks was because all of Tua's throws were at or behind the LOS? I think that contributed to that fact.
  4. I know, it was a huge triggering moment for all of Western NY. You and everyone, which is when they usually aren't.
  5. You don't expect such a monstrous frame to be so nimble. He's light as a dancer. Who is Epenesa? 😕
  6. It's hard not to notice Walker's play on the field (his size alone sets him apart), but I like what I've seen from him so far. Sanders is there, but I haven't noticed him much. I hope these two will eventually take control of the D-line.
  7. On one hand the playcalling was just awful after the first couple drives. It’s a mystery why he gets so cute. OTOH, by the mid third Q, our D looked completely gassed so i guess ball control was the choice
  8. They're only numbers and these guys are DTs but FWIW, both defenses had similar snap counts... 61 for the Bills and 60 for the Dolphins. Kenneth Grant played 39 snaps (65%) and had 1 tackle and 1 assist. TJ Sanders played 36 snaps (59%) and had zero stats. Deone Walker played 19 snaps (31%) and had 2 tackles plus the tipped pass that Bernard intercepted. He also played 11 special teams snaps (42%).
  9. last offensive play of the game was a designed josh allen run...just sayin
  10. You can tell Walker and Hawes are starting to get that "I belong here" confidence
  11. TJ Sanders played 59% of the snaps on D and you'd have no idea. He has been invisible. Kinda concerning how Keon couldn't contribute despite the shockingly bad secondary for the Dolphins. Allen and Cook are amazing though.
  12. If Walker - a 4th round pick - plays well above his pay grade the rest of the season, is there any incentive on the Bills' part to reward him financially next season? I'm not talking about an extension, but merely paying him closer to what he might be "due".
  13. McD apologists refuse to admit it, but he wants an offense to keep his D off the field. Yes I'm worried what will happen in tighter games against great offenses. The Bills were at home on a Thursday and again appeared sluggish at times. 70 yards total from Shakir and Coleman is not good. With Allen 250 yards/gm should be a floor.
  14. I agree, he made some nice plays. We just can’t expect him to cover a speed receiver running across the flat…he doesn’t have those wheels any more. Can’t wait for Hairston to get in there. The Bills gave up 4.5 yards per play and 250 yards total. There wasn’t a whole lot of butter on that toast.
  15. Well, that is certainly one opinion. Not a fact, though. You're right that he won't be top 20 by the end of week 3. Best guess is he will be top 30 - 40, though, which equates to, oh yeah, a borderline number one. Extended over the course of a season, his current production would have had him in last year's WR stats as 29th (yards) and 19th (receptions). In other words, a borderline number one. Has a lot to prove? Hey, yeah, no argument there. I mean, he's a second-year guy, so of course. But it's fair. Consistency isn't there for anybody, when it comes to receivers, outside a few true #1s. Numbers go up and down, but when uninjured, his aggregate performance was about borderline #1 level, I'd argue. After his first three games as a rookie, he started to find his footing. And from that point on until he got injured, he was putting up numbers that would have got him close to a thousand, and that's terrific as a rookie. Especially in an attack where the keywords are that everybody eats. Looking good again this year.
  16. Many of the comments here extend what has been a Bills fan issue for as long as I’ve been a fan (66 years). There has always been a kind of pesssimistic fear about the fortunes of the team. Even when we were doing great in the Super Bowl years there was a Chicken Littleness in the minds of some. We don’t have a passing problem, what we have are two things: an offensive coordinator that has put together a truly balanced offense, and an all-world QB that has matured in his approach to the game. Brady runs what he thinks will work; the last two games defenses have been susceptible to the run so he beat them over the head with it. If and when they are more susceptible to the pass I fully expect us to attack that way. Josh has matured into the type of QB that will take the easy yards vs. try and force the ball downfield. He doesn’t have to worry about force feeding Diggs anymore, and uses the everyone eats philosophy to success. I suspect at the end of week 3 we will be among the top rated offenses in the league. Good for them.
  17. Walker has Chris Jones measurables and traits.
  18. Wow. Felt like he was out there a lot but never would think Bosa would get that many snaps, even in playoffs
  19. With a win in Miami later this season, the all-time rivalry record (including playoffs) will stand at 62-62-1. Those of us who lived through the '70s have been rewarded handsomely since then.
  20. It was a horrendous miss but Prater has been incredible making all the rest and all extra points. An established vet that didn’t let the terrible miss get in his head as he iced the game
  21. I just want to say that the Bill's overall defensive strategy was basically similar to what we always do. Make them drive the field. Try to get pressure. Keep everything in front of you and count on the dolphins making mistakes. This is similar to what we do almost every time we play them. Frankly, aside from keeping the score close longer than it should have, it basically worked i- though he played better than usual....old Tua made a mistake in the end. I thought Tua played great prior to this. Offense played pretty damn good. I don't have any big complaints apart from a few miscues that caused those few stalled drives. The missed field goal was unfortunate. Again, the offensive philosophy was not to light them up and go deep all the time. Low risk ball control. Don't generate turnovers. This worked. The difference in this game is we probably should have won 38 to 14. How would folks feel if the score was that? I'm not going to complain too much apart from it was a little bit more stressful than it should have been.
  22. Can't remember the last time I saw a d lineman play 87% of snaps
  23. Trey has always given a big cushion or had problems when playing soft coverage. My thought is this is scheme. I didn't think he looked that slow. In fact, he had an up and down game and played very well versus the run and on a few other coverage events I didn't think he played that bad overall. We're just going to still assume Tyreek Hill is the fastest guy in the league. I mean everybody has trouble covering him. Waddel is fast too. Miami has a tough wide receiver core, especially when two is getting the ball out quickly without effect from the pressure and effect on his timing. That was the core problem with the day.
  24. why give everyone the ball on the 35 when very few would get there on the return?
  25. Yes, thank you. As a courtesy to others I try to read before I post. Two of the best and fastest WRs in the NFL combined for 88 yards and an 8.8 YPC. White played his first 100% snaps game this year and had a tackle for a loss and a pass defensed. Not only did White play well, he played better than Benford.
