  1. Past hour
  2. I have to admit I'm rather disappointed in the lack of development of the conspiracy theories here. Where's DR when you need him?
  3. Trump caused each one? Your tds is raging.
  4. Why do the dems keep voting no @Homelander
  5. They may accidently walk into a coach like Bowles who is pretty good and get a QB who is a journeyman like Fitz who is hot to get a wildcard spot. But it will be more accidental then intentional. The great irony is that in the current playoff format the Jets would have made the playoffs as the 7th seed and played New England who they did beat once and lost by 7 the other time. The owner has no ability just to step back and let actual football people run stuff. It was beyond evident last year and continues to be this year.
  6. Yeah I was expecting something today. But it's still early and sometimes Beane after dark is a thing. The only other time I'll be expecting some kind of move is in trade deadline day. Let's see what happens. I have a bad feeling the next presser from Beane we see will include the words "Well, we were tight up against the cap so...."
  7. I’m quite secure in my intellectual and cognitive abilities. I’m not here to make petty insults. I’ll leave that to you.
  8. You know, it's very easy to condemn someone who says "I have a little Nazi in me", or "Never trust a chinaman or indian". You don't need to play apples to apples on everything, you can easily say "yeah you know, that's pretty bad and f'd up to say and believe". It's also a Trump nominee for a special council position. It's pretty easy to simply say that this is a bad person and a bad pick. But you could never.
  9. Yeah ideally of course I want the explosive passing offense that can run up the score and make the defense practically irrelevant. Unfortunately we don't have the personnel for that. From Joe Marino's substack: I really think we are better off just going back to basics. The offense has to run through Cook, even as a pass catcher he should be more involved. Kincaid should be the #1 target on forward passes, ideally while catching the defense in heavy personnel, and Shakir can still do his 3-4 quick screens per game. If Palmer can get loose once or twice a game that is where our deep shots will come from. Coleman's role needs to be heavily reduced. These aren't good answers but they're the best answers we have to get out of this slump.
  10. I really don’t disagree with you. I genuinely don’t have a lot of faith in this staff, either. I think most people don’t. They’ve come up short too many times in the same fashion to not have us all on edge. I don’t know how the season is goo to pan out. I don’t think many teams out side of maybe the Chiefs and Colts are looking super good in the AFC. And honestly, I don’t think the Chiefs look that good… I just think the league is going to make sure they’re hosting playoff games for whatever reason. I just hope the Bills can catch a break and shock the world. Go Bills!
  11. $35 keeps the riff raff out ... I won't be attending.
  12. oh...this is perfect.
  13. I think Poyer's considered a SS. But on McD's defense, the dividing line between SS and FS is blurry and fluid. McD likes safeties who can do everything: deep zone, man coverage, in-the-box run support, whatever. It's easier to disguise the scheme when both safeties are Swiss army knives and the QB can't be sure what either of them is doing.
  14. Bro, and I mean this in the best possible way. I have no idea what you're talking about. Did you mean to quote someone else? What you replied has nothing to do with anything I said.
  15. Because Reid and Mahomes would abuse him. This guy hasn't even played a pre-season game. His first action should not come against the best play caller in NFL history and the second best QB in the NFL. Dolphins the following week would be perfect. Half the stadium will be empty and the other half will be Bills fans. Waddle will be on the Bills roster and Tua will have no targets.
  16. I mean, last year we had MVS. Same type deep ball guy. In fact, when Shaheed went down to injury last year, the Saints brought MVS in to replace him. And he made some huge plays. The reason he was a FA at the time? He was cut from the Bills to make room for Cooper and he was expendable because Josh could never hit him on any of the big plays. Shaheed is a really good player. But he's not what this offense, this QB or this OC know how to take advantage of.
  17. No those plays are run a little more behind the line, these Bills plays are right on the line with no margin for error on down and distance where teams are absolutely looking to get push to prevent the short yardage conversion. A jet sweep or even the short pass from the jet motion is not what I'm taking issue with. I'm taking issue with the particular design of the play the Bills are using that is extremely tight to the LOS where there are too many things to go wrong - they ran it with Shakir on the Left side and against the Falcons on the right - both had the same issue - the blocking had to be superb and it wasn't and there was a lot to navigate that stymied the whole benefit of a guy moving faster than everyone else near the LOS Maybe the play would have some success if it were in a scenario where there may be more read and react calls from the D, but I just think there are too many feet and bodies to get in the way in any scenario.
  18. But it is kinda like 4 free wins.. and considering you need like 10-11 to make the playoffs thats a nice leg up. Also if these players were so good, the team wouldn't suck so hard.
  19. Gimme Tre Tucker as he similar to Shaheed but younger and under contract for next season for less than $2 million.
