  1. Past hour
  2. Yeah. It’s a very small percentage of people, at this point, that have parking passes. The overwhelming majority of the parking is 1st come, 1st served. The majority of lots will probably be open by 10 I would think. I’ve found 5 hours before kickoff to be our sweet spot.
  3. To paraphrase Douglas Adams, the defense is going to pieces (via injury) so fast, that other players are getting hit by the shrapnel. At least berserker Rapp won't be giving any more 'friendly fire' injuries.
  4. It's the last year for Highmark. Has the grounds crew got time to paint one end zone 'CHEFS'? 🤔
  5. Why do I get the impression that something like that will inevitably trip up some coach? Especially the older ones, whose 'filters' are becoming wonky. 🤔
  6. It seems to me all most of the numerous injuries have happened in practice. Taron, DeQuan, Oliver (the first injury), Strong, Hamlin, Hairston, Bass... Not sure about Shaq, Milano, Bernard, Prater, or Sanders, but at least some of these injuries have "popped up" on the injury report. Palmer and the punter Johnson is the only players I recall being injured during a game. I wonder if McDermott is addressing the poor tackling by stressing physicality in practice, resulting in a lot of casualties. Oliver was (and is now, with his second injury) the biggest loss, obviously, but Strong is another one. He would have welcome back there, the way he was playing.
  7. Tre has been a great tackler this year because this is really all he can contribute as a player, and he knows it. With the rise of the power running game in the league, this line up may have run its course.
  8. This is one of the reasons I feel any season without a superbowl victory is wasted. The league is going downhill fast with stupid rule changes and sketchy officiating. I want the Bills to win it all before the league turns into some bastardization of flag football and wwe, or worse yet the NBA.
  9. FORMER CIA DIRECTOR JOHN BRENNAN CONFRONTED ABOUT THE STEELE DOSSIER Reporter: So I was just trying to get you to clear it up, if you saw the [Steele] Dossier before the election. JOHN BRENNAN: Read my memoir. Reporter: I've read excerpts of it. BRENNAN: Read the rest of it. Reporter: Are you concerned about a possible indictment coming from DOJ? What do you think about the situation now? Anything you can say, sir. Just want to clear the record, give you a chance to talk. --BRENNAN looks away-- Reporter: But did you see it? The Steele Dossier? Or not? That's pretty much the gist of the situation, right? You have nothing to say, sir, about it? BRENNAN: It's all in the record. All in my memoir. Reporter: Will you be involved at all in testimony before the Judiciary Committee in the coming weeks? Or coming months? Could you just maybe tell us what you think about the direction of the intelligence community now under Trump? Brennan pretends to read the phone, and is saved by the arrival of his train. 10. MVS couldn’t catch the ball when he created separation and the ball was thrown his way. After a while the QB loses confidence in his WR
  11. Love it! I just printed this out and will tape it to my television screen before kickoff on Sunday. I’ll let you know if it works. 👍
  12. Production per play would be measured by yards per play. We are 2nd and not by much, the next 5 teams are within 0.2 yards of us. The Colts are #1 by almost half a yard (0.4). Production per play shows the Colts as Elite & Bills with the rest of the pack. I agree there are things to like about this offense, the run game, o-line, TEs. They have some pieces at WR. They need an outside WR who can win one on one against man coverage and scare defenses. That would unlock their ability to become Elite. Again, that's just my opinion. But we'll see what happens. 13. KC had a great defense those last two years and an average offense. I think the 15th ranked offense with the best or second best QB in the game is kind of a failure tbh. I think if we had the 15th ranked offense, I would be pretty concerned we would miss the playoffs. FWIW, we have faced a ton more man this year, especially in our losses. Teams don’t fear us to beat them with Josh’s arm and our pass catchers. That’s a problem.
  14. What makes a Bills-Chiefs game at Arrowhead unlikely? I’m just curious what that means. It seems like they find us every year in the playoffs. I’m not saying it’s going to happen, just saying I don’t think it’s unlikely.
  15. I honestly think it’s because athletes are getting stronger and faster. I know in the old school football, people assume the game was tougher. Tougher in the sense of rougher, yes. But the impact, its 100% today’s game. You didn’t have 300+ guards who run 5.2 - 40 yard dashes pulling, you didn’t have 210 lbs safeties who run 4.4 - 40 yard dashes or 240 etc… These guys might not get closed line anymore but the play by play pounding, its much tougher today. Its bigger bodies moving faster and hitting each other. Even with advanced medicine and training, they are still breaking down.
  16. Yeah I can't stand Pacheco. It's no big loss for KC though. He's an extremely mediocre back that gets overhyped because of his running style and playing for the Chiefs.
  17. Can we also add that basically no team has succeeded in building a great WR room with their strategy of FA WRs. The Jags were famous FA WR over spenders. They handed out ridiculous contracts for Kirk and Zay and other dudes. Fast forward a few years and they are spending back to back first rounders at WR because those guys weren’t good enough. It is not “the way” as much as Beane wants to bargain bin shop.
  18. Really gonna miss this douche jumping around like a sugar high ADHD toddler after every 1 yd gain
  19. Today
  20. Grier's failure can't be overstated. At one point in time Miami had the most first round picks in the league and the most cap space to completely rebuild a team. This would be a good GM's dream situation and all they got out of it was a couple of wildcard playoff appearances and 0 playoff wins. The problem with Flores was that he didn't build a good culture. They had some success in the win column, but half the team hating him and complaining about him. They really had to get rid of him. But failed mightily with team construction. Chubb, Tua, Phillips, and Hill have all cost them a ton of those assets and they have been either hurt or were the wrong picks.
  21. Receivers don't get the ball in a Brady run offense. It might be that simple, then when they need to it looks awkward. They could use better wr's but not sure what they would do with them. The short passing game looks forced and the long ball is non existent.
  22. So funny only a couple years ago all the media was talking about what a juggernaut Miami was and how "unfair" it was that the Dolphins had such unstoppable speed
  23. It’s understood that injuries are just a part of playing in the NFL, but wow we seem to be stacking up a lot of injuries in practices & warmups, not actual games. Hairston, D. Jones, now Taron Johnson among others. Getting healthy by seasons end would be huge. Dial it down in practice a bit?
  24. The Chiefs don't really play us in zone though. They did in the regular season last year - the odd day where we played more man and they played more zone - but generally the Chiefs run a high man coverage percentage against us.
