There actually are 5 rushing, it's hard to see because 1 of them is getting swallowed up in the middle. I have no problem with the blitz call. It worked as intended getting Taron as a free rusher. My issue is, to use Babich's own words, the pass rush is not married to the coverage. Leaving Benford in off coverage on an island against an elite route runner is not how you get Rattler to hold the ball. I mean that's a college level read and anticipation throw that any backup QB is going to hit. Rapp ends up sprinting backwards from the line to cover nobody while Benford is being hung out to dry. This is a 3rd and long that should have been converted and it is 100% on the play call.

Honestly Josh is one of those guys that are just sickeningly good at whatever they try. Like I would GUARANTEE the first time her tried bowling he broke 150 and had a turkey.

The problem with that play is that it's a chicken 💩 half-a$$ed call. Only 4 end up rushing, and Bosa of all people drops out into coverage to cover no one. And if a DE was spying Rattler, that's a stupid plan. If you're going to bother to show a blitz, actually blitz and bring more than 4. If Spags brings 7 guys to the LoS at the snap, at LEAST 5 are coming. I'd like to think that they are not blitzing out of these looks to get some tendencies on film that they can break later, but I have no way of knowing that. Interesting bit of history that I don't think most people know. Spags and McDermott come from the same Jim Johnson/Eagles coaching tree and therefore have very similar philosophies. So when people insist that McDermott is a Tampa 2 guy, that is just flat out wrong. I'll agree that Allen could have been ruined by the Jets. But I also think much of the reason for his success was his inner desire to improve and the work he did with Jordan Palmer. I don't think Palmer gets enough credit for Allen's progression.

A physical freak in the mold of a pre-injury Derek Rose. Football I would say defensive end. With a bulkier frame & the same tenacity he shows at QB, I think it’s possible.

The part that irks me is 3rd down was a huge problem last year, was an emphasis in the off season and camp and yet here we are, again. Also you cant be considered a good defense and be 31st against the run, that isn't going to win any championships.

I very rarely post on this site. I trust a lot of people on here to have way more football knowledge than I do. Maybe it's the 17 years of no playoffs, the wind game, them beating us a few years ago, etc. I don't ever take NE laying down. They are better than Miami and NY for sure. I respect their coach, and their QB seems competent if not good. I don't trust our defense and we can't throw down field. With the injuries we heard about today, it just makes me more worried. Just be focused, don't turn the ball over, take this team seriously, be ready to score, and expect a grind. I wish we would destroy them. I want that. Ha. Go Bills!

I hate to be ‘ that guy’ but the jets could eff up anything. Any qb. He would be a massive colossal bust in New York like everyone else is when they are there.

I think this will be a difficult game for us. The Bills are winning by low double digits but something overall just seems slightly off. In previous years, this team would have stacked more points and put the game away earlier. I hope I'm wrong, but I think this is our first loss of the year. If so, I expect it galvanizes the team we we end the season with 2 more losses total and secure the #1 seed. The talent is there, I just think we need to stop being sloppy and put it all together for 60 minutes

I feel like most defenders actually love Josh Allen he plays with a “football mentality.” He talks $**t and doesn’t back down. They all respect him. The only guy that does like him is Christian Wilkins and I think that’s because he’s in love with him.

You know what? Eff ‘em. The Ravens are another entitled fan base who were handed a team who almost immediately became a Super Bowl contender and has won two trophies. They’ve never “suffered” and one can argue they’ve actually underperformed even when healthy. Of the AFC teams I dislike outside the division, the Ravens are at the top of the list (yes, even above KC).
