That’s the frustrating thing. He’s a big dude but doesn’t play through contact with power. You’d assume someone as strong as he can be on the bball court would understand how to play through contact. It’s like he is stymied by it. Back in the summer ppl were posting these clips of a shirtless Coleman working on agility drills, running these stutter step style routes…and I’m just watching this in June thinking that this is the wrong kind of training this dude needs.

These days you literally don’t even need goalposts. Just two light beams from the ground, extending into infinity. For a league that talks about safety as much as it does, that seems to be a no-brainer.

Agree that we have been bullied. Spoke to that myself about the Texans game. When that happens, team gets deflated and turtles. Thing is, regardless of who is at WR, field position should not be an issue for Josh. Brady has absolutely regressed the offense this year with poor play calling and game plan. Especially last week not giving Josh help against an elite rush.

Intentional, i.e. from week 1, tanks are never a good idea in the NFL. Most tanks in the NFL happen after week 7 or 8 when a team is legit terrible and 1-6 or something. And the Bills were just not in that spot very often.

Iirc , Belichick was adamant about raising the goalpost height after losing on that rule to the Ravens. They did raise it, but there are no doinks above it.

I guess it’s like how in baseball if a ball hits the “foul” pole it’s a home run, even if the ball goes back on the field or into foul territory. But if the ball hits the upright and doesn’t go through, it’s a miss, so it’s not remotely the same thing.
