This is the best summary of the situation and nails the key issues succinctly.

Driving up from NJ to take my son to the Paul McCartney concert Friday night and Bills game on Sunday. Doors for the concert open at 6:30 with the concert starting at 8pm Do you know how early I could park at either the KeyBank Center Ramp or Surface Lot Parking 1? Would love to park at 6pm if possible. Thanks in advance.

Who do we want, who do we need as our next HC and, or GM?
Kirby Jackson replied to jaybeezee's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would have paid Benford and Cook. I didn’t love the other deals. You could make a case for Shakir and Rousseau. -
Diggs overstays his welcome everywhere. He was probably right about some things and he also needed to go and things would be even worse with him Correct. This team is missing some fire.
-
a) not in much doubt that Diggs is a dick. He has proven it time and again. Him not being here as planned is a huge part of the issue, and the only part that gives Beane at least a part excuse until this season b) he certainly found out himself in half a season that Brady cannot get WRs going. He just cant. Its plain for all (most!) to see c) he backed the wrong horse first time round in Houston, but its also clear he figured out going somewhere with a brand new franchise QB is a sesinble option - they have the cap room to pay you, and get other pieces
-
In “No Show In The Snow,” he was the only one running up and down the sidelines, shouting and yelling, while all his teammates sat there like deer in headlights. I don't agree with every way Diggs acted, but he had that fire and saw what no one else did.

Mike McDaniel Drinking Problem

I'd bet he has a weed vape in his clam diggers during games. He comes out looking glassy eyed after halftime. I will admit I was impressed with a couple of his play designs Sunday. One was a toss to a TE in the flat, no less than three Bills chased him about 15 yards downfield before forcing him out of bounds. He also has receivers running free everywhere, but that might just be our McDefense. -
I don't mean lazy, should have been more specific about player preparation. It could something as simple as not enough sleep, dehydrated, diet, alcohol, drugs.

Who do we want, who do we need as our next HC and, or GM?

This is false. Sean took over play calling. Confused the kick and called the D. It's 100% on him. And the D has declined since Leslie's #1 ranked defenses. Sean handed a Rookie OC in Dorsey the reigns of Josh/Diggs in their prime and scored a whole 10 points against the Bengals in the playoffs. Instead of firing him then, Sean waited another half season. So yes, midseason, but 1.5 years into it. We are now 1.5 years into a Rookie DC and people are calling for his head, too. I think we have a good coach and good GM. Will always be thankful to this regime for breaking the drought. But they have failed to reach the Super Bowl now 4 years in a row with an MVP level QB. If they don't make the Super Bowl this year, 5 years straight, what evidence is there that Sean can elevate this team to the next level? This is a very fair criticism. But to your point, you're trusting this owner to hold onto a head coach who cannot get an MVP level QB to the Super Bowl. Goes both ways. If the Bills make it to the Super Bowl this year, I will happily eat all of these words. If they don't, it's time to move on. -

Slight aside, he is not the only one. I was reasonably happy in the summer with the new contracts handed out - i wouldn't have done Bernard at that price, but the others seemed ok But some of those guys - Benford, Bernard, Shakir - plus a bunch of other guys - Taron, Milano, Rapp - all played well below the level we know they can play In Rapp's case it seems like we found out that there was an injury behind that (or they are lying i suppose) Possible some of the others are also? I only say this because in the absence of a bunch of new players appearing from heaven to fix it - we are stuck with these guys. And that would actually be just about fine if they played at 8/10 rather than 6/10 every week. Also, i dont rate games missed as the measure (though it is the easiest measure) - Kincaid has only missed one game this season, and a couple last year maybe - but he has barely been fit through that stretch - you don't have the real player, even though it shows as "not injured" -
Doesn’t take a genius to figure out the Bills have poor players at receiver.

Diggs is ranked #15 in receptions, a guy that knows something should be playing elsewhere

Game week thread - Buccaneers at Bills

Most teams are going through this. Look at the 49ers, Ravens and Commanders. It's not the lack of preparation or a deficiency in their strength. It's stronger and faster hitting each other and the body is breaking down. I assure you, Michael Hoecht isn't lazy or unprepared. -
F Diggs. He is ONE of the reasons we are in this situation to begin with. Allen and Diggs would’ve been an all time duo, but Diggs can’t handle someone else getting more shine than him. Never mind that he was top 5 in targets and most productive WR in his 4 year stretch in Buffalo or that he was paid very handsomely.

Nope. Guy is a complete narcissist and head case. He will start throwing tantrums if New England starts to struggle

BillsVet replied to jaybeezee's topic in The Stadium Wall
The question is why does this happen every year on defense? And, are they, specifically the HC, doing a deep enough dive to understand why almost every season they have so many defensive injuries? Is the scheme, which features smaller players functionally appropriate for the league? Is it a strength and conditioning issue? They need to stop going into the off-season with...let's just get different and more defensive players to address the injury issue. Probably time to explore playing defense differently in personnel if they can't hold up for 17 games and the playoffs. -
So? Cooks fumble was brutal to. It happens and even the best players will make mistakes. I think some tend to focus on the rare exceptions as being evidence of a problem while ignoring the more fundamental issues troubling the Bills.
-
Plus he played with Bosa for 2 seasons with the Chargers, so hopefully that will help him get up to speed a little faster. I am not expecting him to be a "difference maker", but I definitely believe he can be a decent role player in the DL rotation.

So you think Diggs had an issue with the quality of the WR position? 😎

Having watched them both, no. Not that either is good. -
Was Diggs on to something?
Bob Chandler's Hands replied to streetkings01's topic in The Stadium Wall
He may have been ON something. Not sure about "onto" something. -
He did say that Josh is all we got during the game Vs NE.
