  1. Past hour
  2. Back in his heyday i was getting a tennis lesson at the indoor courts off Sheridan drive. Jimmy Arias came in and shouted at us to get off the court, it was his court and his time.. He was such a D-bag lol. It's funny how one interaction as a young teen stays with you. As i mentioned the other day in the Off the Wall thread. Pegula is her beloved Bills. Great player, can't seem to win the bag game (match), Sabalenka is the Chiefs.
  3. The drought really did a number on some fans. "McDermott 4 Eva" types really just like watching the team makes the playoffs consistently and are fine with just that. Those who criticize McDermott believe that the goal is to win a Super Bowl, and not doing that with the most physically gifted QB in NFL history would be a gigantic disappointment. Best way to sum up the two camps.
  4. Marathon to where? Where are we going exactly?
  5. Obama drone strikes killed an American citizen. So there's that.
  6. Hey I was probably the most dissenting to voice to you a year ago or so. I still thought the negatives outweighed the positives when it came to making a change. No longer lol
  7. My thoughts will be that I can finally not care about football as much (I'll still love it and love the Bills...but getting at least just 1 SB victory would just complete the picture for me).
  8. I think is a really solid take, but I wouldn't make the assumption it will force Baltimore out of these sets. Likely missed time last year and Charlie Kolar filled in. Then they brought in Lucas Scott, a rookie, near 300 pounder to play FB. He is on the practice squad, but I would imagine they activate him for Sunday. Mind you these players are less impactful than Likely and Ricard, but I don't imagine these issues will force a complete identity change.
  9. I will financially reward Terry Pegula, Brandon Beane and Shawn McDermott. I will reach deep into my wallet and give up the 3 dollars.
  10. You should send a pm to joshypoo and see what you can arrange.
  11. 😂😂you and i have spoken about this at length for sure and im ambivalent on whether fans who have watched the nfl for the last 3 decades and somehow still think the HC is more important than the QB are worth listening to lol
  12. Of all things to get your panties in a bunch about. When did strength become a bad thing?
  13. You're definitely given some lee-way on where you line up as a corner. But usually that far off the LOS is either - over man without help like a single high or blitz, or cover 3 and cover 4 where you're expected to find the deep crossers. It isn't a bad thing to line up off as well, playing press man for an entire game is a recipe for big plays which.. most teams try to avoid. If i know i need to stay deep behind a player whos faster than me... why would i line up closer to him?
  14. Not great but its a marathon not a sprint.
  15. I'm going to cry like a baby! Thinking about that is a lifelong dream come true.
  16. This Bills D have a difficult task ahead of them. The Baltimore offense is one of the best in league. Their run game is outstanding, efficient passing game, and the best in the red zone. Of course, this is a new year but I don't see a huge dropoff if any from the Ravens offense. Obviously, it's not optimal that the Bills secondary is banged up and have other on the line suspended. I have to think the Ravens will attempt the Bills weaknesses. I'm not sure the Bills can get the Ravens off the field in 3rd downs.
  17. There's lots of factors. But really it comes back to breaking the drought and a lack of perspective to the rest of the NFL. The ones most ardently defending McD think that this era, winning the division every year, playoffs every year, etc etc started because of what happened on December 31st 2017. The folks engaging against them recognize, correctly, this era is the direct result of the decision made on April 26th 2018. That's why there's a visceral reaction to anything to the contrary. They truly believe McD is the lynchpin to the whole operation. They don't want to move on without a "guarantee" the next guy could do better. because they think without McD, we fall back in 20 years in the basement of the division while Justin Fields and Drake Maye and Tua just can't stop winning the AFCE. I'm not even being facetious. You are arguing a return to potentially being a poverty franchise to them, and that was miserable for all Bills fans.
  18. Interesting that there isn’t a thread for who we think will start if Tre can’t go which I believe is the most likely outcome for week one. I’m betting we start Dorian Strong. He seemed to be trending up toward the end of preseason and is someone with the kind of boundary coverage skills the coaches will want (assuming he’s far enough along in defensive concepts). I like Ingram better when teams spread us out and we need to go dime. What do you guys think? Is Dorian far enough along to warrant being 2nd string on the outside?
  19. I got to experience a championship when I lived in Chicago for several years when Michael Jordan was on the way up. I wasn't a hardcore basketball fan to begin with, and stopped paying attention as a kid when the Braves left, but it was fun becoming a Bulls fan at that time and I sweated it out in those playoff runs almost as much as I would a Bills playoff run. The excitement at the first Bulls championship was awesome, but still nothing like what it would be if/when the Bills win. I did win a state championship many years back in racquetball. The relief and joy on winning it was so memorable. Again, nothing like what it would be for the Bills.
  20. I like this better than the sleep commercial. I use NB myself, and they make killer shoes.
  21. I know this sounds incredibly lame but my first thought will be that my problems and difficulties in life will be a lot easier to bear Now that the bills have won the Super Bowl Also, the atmosphere is going to be crazy. You know that for at least a month straight you’ll have millions of people taking time off and just partying in the streets or in the most random places. It won’t end with the Super Bowl parade. That’ll be the beginning of a month long festival of city wide fandemonium
  22. I nominate Maddy Gabb
