Comparing the Bills and thr Browns is like night and day. The Bills are one of the best and most exciting teams in the NFL. MVP QB. The most playoff wins other than the Chiefs since 2020. The Bills are very likable with a great culture. Awesome uniforms. A great fanbase. The Bills have the 90's teams that were great and went to a bunch of superbowls and had an exciting team. The Browns have Jim Brown and that's about all.

This reminds more of a move the Bills drought teams would make. On paper it sounds great move based on his name but in actuality, I’m not sure it does a whole lot. I'm not saying that I agree or disagree with this analysis, just condensing some of the info as far as who the OP sees as SB contenders: Based on the OP's optimistic views for teams, he has 13 teams as SB contenders (listed as at least making a conf. title game, optimistically---2024 playoff teams are in bold): LA Rams, KC, Philly, Washington, Pitt, Houston, Detroit, Denver, Atlanta, SF, Tampa, Green Bay, and Buffalo. (the only 2024 playoff teams not in contention are the Chargers and Vikings, replaced by Atlanta and SF). OP's best optimistic views: Buffalo wins the SB Philly wins the SB Ravens SB appearance OP's best realistic results: Buffalo makes a SB appearance Baltimore makes AFC Championship Philly make the NFC Championship Washington makes the NFC Championship So, seems like similar results to last year (as far as the playoff teams go), except (I would surmise) with Buffalo advancing to the SB (over Balt) and probably facing Philly (with either team winning the SB, but Buffalo being a slight favorite in odds).

I'm torn with how I feel about super fans. Yea, it's great that you are that devoted to your team that you have a persona that people recognize. But on the other hand, sometimes they can get to be really annoying. Plus, I was disappointed talking to one of the listed attendees and they mentioned they have a social media team. So, anything you seem them posting online, is probably not them directly. I thought they were just like us, just really passionate about the team, only to find they are just seeking attention by being a super fan.

Eric Smedley I once sat next to his girlfriend on a flight into Buffalo, and we ended up chatting for the entire flight. When we arrived at the gate in BUF, we were still talking and Eric was waiting to pick her up and gave me some serious side-eye. I remember thinking "Damn, he looks a lot smaller than I would have thought for an NFL safety. I bet I could take him." 😁

Yep. for me, that's the worst part of it. I have in-laws in some smaller towns in AZ and NM. The hospital is what separates the surviving towns from the dying ones.

I'd take Brian Sipe today over anyone on their roster. I think he and Flacco are the same age. Irrelevant. They could move to the moon and they would still be the Factory of Sadness. With Watson now reported to be taken Sanders under his wing its worthy to note that not all surprises are good.

Is there a more bland team in the NFL besides the Browns? Ugly uniforms, ugly name, not likable at all for any reason, and a history of terrible football that goes back decades and decades. Remove them from the NFL entirely and nobody would even notice besides a handful of Browns fans who would eagerly latch on to another team and pretend like the Browns never existed.

I have a whole closet of Buffalo Bills past players jerseys. I wear 'em all. They are Buffalo Bills jersey after all. And I paid good money for a lot of them so I get my money's worth. I root for the laundry, not the players. That said,I do have a Josh Allen jersey.

Wasn’t he doing like 101 mph for one ticket? I think the most recent was crazy fast. It’s not 36 in a school zone during the summer. He may be able to learn a playbook, but he failed to learn that life lesson.
