Brady's play calling is already suspect. Put McDermott's ineptitude in the mix and last night is the slurry of ***** you end up with. It's time to call Lane Kiffin and see if he wants to coach in the NFL. Need a quarterback focused head coach.

Allen missed a wide open Knox on the final play
Kelly to Allen replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's a moot point. They played not to lose because that's who the coach is and everything they feared is actually what happened. "Train yourself to let go... of everything you fear to lose," from Yoda in Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith. -
We were explosive last Sunday because the Tampa secondary sucks. Conversely the Houston secondary is really good. It is as simple as that. Against a good set of DBs our guys failed to get open, again.
-
It's all of the above. The roster and coaching are just not good enough... Every single season.

I don’t want us to miss the playoffs. No one does. But if they do you have to seriously consider changes. A fresh approach with an offensive mind as HC might be what Josh needs. I would not argue against a guy like Gruden, especially if he could attract a guy like Jim Swartz as DC. As for Beane, I don’t know that he’s any better or worse than any other GM. But it should be made clear that bringing in guys to help Josh is the priority.

Don’t just look at that specific play…. I’m sure it was more than just “that play” That kind of proves my point. A good OC can help eliminate some pressure by proper play calling

11/20/2025 Bills @ Texans post game thread
Heels20X6 replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
The worst part? That the Bills completely changed their offense philosophy from being “we can score at will because we have Josh Allen” to “let’s make sure each drive takes 8 minutes” to compensate for how garbage the defensive “guru’s” unit is and how they can’t be trusted to be on the field for too long. it used to be that I had no worries the Bills weren’t going to score. We’d win as long as we had the ball last. Now? Brady and McDummy make every drive a trip to the dentist. -
Is watching the Bills fun for you these days?
st pete gogolak replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall
No, it’s not fun watching this team. My problem is that I was so optimistic going into the season based on the schedule. Extra home game. No overseas games. Toughest games all at home. Minimal travel. Couldn’t be any better. That’s what so disappointing. Cherry on top is New England being this good this quickly. The torture never stops. Only silver lining will be if Chiefs miss the playoffs. -
I think it's been pretty obvious that Brady and Babich are doing what Mcdermott wants, this usually means playing and coaching not to lose. I think McDermott rewards both of these guys with them having their own weekly pressers so they can promote themselves I just hope Pegula tells McDermott he needs to hire a big name defensive cordinator and new offensive cordinator from outside. That has always been the problem, we keep hiring coordinators that are already here and that's too easy to control
-
I just posted on another string... we can all opine about what needs to be done... and even agree... but the reality is that Pegula will do absolutely nothing about this and let it all ride... the best we can hope for is that Babich or Brady or both get canned... but that is the absolute max of what I think will happen... our only hope is that Beane self identifies his short comings and brings in people to assist there... is that likely.... probably not.

He was pressured on 28/35 dropbacks, sacked 8 times, and in this instance, a play was just blown up by an immediate block whiff.

Allen missed a wide open Knox on the final play
PatsFanNH replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
That was an easy call that any ref crew would have made it was a terrible run pick play. I think the Bills are lucky Allen didn’t get hurt as often as he was hit.. I will say on a couple (like the 2nd sack) he has to throw the ball away at some point.
