At least he’s entertaining. I mean I think he’s filth, but love it or hate it, he’s our president. Just like Biden was the right’s president even when some of the far right whackos claimed he wasn’t. I’m just not sure of the point of starting another thread over it that doesn’t have a specific topic related to it. I will certainly toss jabs with some Rs in already established threads; whether it’s actually decent conversations with folks like JDHillfan and B-Man or that absolute weirdo creepy geriatric BillsFanNC who spams us with his Twitter feed that before Elon bought it likely would have ended him up on a list. But why a new thread just to call them #######s? You can do that in any established thread.

The one game doesn't necessarily give me the confidence. Josh and the O line does. You said there would be a massive drop off without cook, and I was just using that one game as a small example that they were fine. A RB will never move the needle, unless you're a freak like Barkley or Henry. And even still... Barkley was a beast in NY when healthy, but it didn't matter cause the giants had a horrible o line and QB

id be surprised if he misses games honestly also surprised if he gets top tier elite money or a deal that keeps him long term which means he either plays as is… or with some sort of very short bridge deal think 2 years, shade over 2025 salary plus tag year, modest incentives and no tag clause. Tags 13.6m, salary is 5.2m… that’s 18.6m…. Bar napkin 2 year, 20m, lots of cash up front, some incentives that are achievable to add enough to be at/around kyren dollars if he performs and tag is out the window at the end. Bills put to bed any distractions by sweetening slightly, and reward performance still — cook gets cash early, upside potential and a clear path to free agency. It’s not thrilling for anyone, but neither side deals with worst case scenarios.

Probably all they feed them is clam chowda. You can’t expect a man with burnt hands to catch every pass. And he doesn’t even like soup! -
Sorry, that is just nonsense, a cliche that cannot be supported in any way. Just because a bunch of people say crap like that, and repeat it over and over, in no way does that make it accurate, true. Do you think the Eagles think that? The Ravens? The Lions? The Packers? The Falcons? The Bills? If what you say in bold is correct, then it is just a coincidence, incidental, that all the true NFL contenders last year had excellent running games and running backs. I think each of those teams would likely disagree with your assessment, laugh at the thought of it even. In fact, most of the playoff teams from last year would do the same. Instead most would say their running backs were a seminal reason for their success, vital to it. I can say tight end is less important, or left guard, left tackle, outside linebacker, free safety, the #1 wideout or....................................................................... But it doesn't make it right, accurate, just because I say it, and even if a slew of others parrot my silly comment. But then again, the 2nd point in your sentence is just as nonsensical, Just saying something, as emphatically as you like, does not mean it is true. Who says the drop off from Cook is not 'that large'? Not me, and not most.

Yep. Rolling Stone is near the bottom when it comes to truth. -
The difference in maintenance for a gas mower (some) versus an electric (none) sold me on the electric. Your lawn mower is probably a 40-volt battery. Many weed whackers, hedge cutters, and leaf blowers use 18 volts. I don't know if Ego offers both 18 volt and 40 volt tools, but they probably do.

Rams extend RB Kyren Williams - 3-year, $33 million
NoSaint replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
its ultimately just another data point in the “cook or…” roster building discussion. If the theory is he wants saquon money…. Cash flow is like 17-18 per year for the next 2-4 years bar napkin If given the choice how would we rank just chasing saquon in the first place and trading cook vs paying cook the same deal? a kyren-esque back AND a mid tier contributor vs cook? I hate the idea of losing our only lightning in a bottle outside Josh but he’s not cmc or saquon and to not just pay but overpay a running back doesn’t make sense unless we are officially pushing every last chip in right now…. -

It's a damn shame that 3 of them were in preseason. -
As someone else stated earlier, Josh has been pinpoint accurate. You can't do that unless you have a strong rapport with your target. We know he already has it with Shakir. If we can add Keon and Kincaid as well, good luck defenses.

As a OG Hard Knocks watcher, if I wasn’t a fan of the team I would've thought it was pretty boring. The lovable losers with a great fan base and Josh Allen. That’s the outside narrative of the Buffalo Bills and that’s what the episode was all about. Kinda wanted more behind the scenes material.

I think there is a date circled on the calendar for Beane to give Cook and his reps the opportunity to seek a trade and subsequent new contract. If they get the $15 million/year and compensation that Beane is comfortable with then he is traded. What will most likely happen is teams will tell Cook they trade 3rdish rounder and pay him $11 million/year like Kyren Williams got. Then Cook and his team have their answer. His market value is around $11 million/year, which is probably Buffalo’s offer.

He's sucker punching the economy with tariffs and all the uncertainty. Stock market and Business leaders that make decisions on large investments in the future don't like uncertainty and it shows. Yet that's what President Trump is serving up. Uncertainty. That's why we have inflation and non lowering interest rates. He's doing it to himself (and us).

Word is they are close to an agreement. I can’t share my sources.

The high cost is because of the type of lens you choose. The regular lenses don't cure eye problems like near-sightedness, far-sightedness, or astigmatism, which means if you wore glasses in the past, you will probably have to wear them after surgery. The more expensive lenses not only do away with your cataracts, they also can fix other vision problems; they can also be "progressive" lenses like the no-line bifocals used in eye glasses. I have worn glasses for 50+ years, and bifocals for 40+. I don't feel comfortable without glasses, especially when I work in my garden, so I would probably always be wearing safety glasses or sunglasses when outside and using readers inside. I can't stand readers, so I opted for the regular lenses, and paid $600 per eye out of pocket. I have a Medicare Advantage plan through Highmark. Before cataract surgery, I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to pass the eye test even with my glasses when I got my license renewed. A few weeks after the second cataract surgery, I passed the licensing eye test without glasses. With my prescription eye glasses (the same ones I had pre-surgery), I have 20-20 vision. Medicare Advantage plans have physicians/physician practices that are "members", ie they accept what Medicare pays with some extra fees for certain procedures (like cataracts). Look for practices that belong to your Medicare Advantage plan for the best deal. Then decide if you want to pay extra for the upgraded lenses.

Just too early for a draft due to injuries, cuts or trades. Plus it really depends on what number you get to pick.

They ignore the fact the Allen led Bills do much better, consistently, when they change and commit more to the run. I agree with everything you said. The quote above from you I took out because I feel like this should be obvious if you have watched this team throughout Josh career One game is one situation. Thats not nearly enough sample size to say that confidently. The rivalry, place both teams were, teammates rallying behind a let's beat them up game plan led to that. That's not replica table. So, I can't really use that one game to confidently say hey, no worries just plug option 2 in. He's going. Looked decent in his role.

This isn't on Beane. It just isn't. Beane is not the one holding in. Cook is. Beane has made an offer he thinks is reasonable. Beane knows that Cook doesn't want to miss game checks. He's handling this just right. Yes, Cook is a weapon, and yes the team is better with him than without him. But they're still really really good without him. He missed the Jets game and they ran just fine without him. And the Jets were a very good D last year. On the other hand, in the two games Shakir missed, we looked bad on offense. Quite bad. But they're almost certainly not going to be without him, not until next year anyway. If Beane's offer is less than we think, if he only offered $8 or $9M, then yeah, this is on Beane. But unwillingness to be held hostage is part of being a good businessman and a good GM. And I don't think too many of us think the Bills offer was that low. If it really was, Cook would be well-served by having his agent go public with it. But my guess is the offer was in the Kyren Williams area and Cook would get no sympathy if he did go public.

Yes same. Noticed it on two adult plants and went with some insecticide. Seems to have curbed them but I should have sprayed them all, as I missed one on the other side of the house that is now completely gone. We’re going to waive until Spring and see what we’ve got and will likely replace. Unfortunate because they’re 4 ft tall 3 ft wide. Its always something!

The Bills need Cook. Everyone knows that and I am sure Beane knows that as well. If negotiations are really close as some reports indicate, I would advise Cook if he was my client to cease poking Beane in the eye and demonstrate his value to the team. He is not gaining ground with this tantrum. If these reports are not true, then it does not matter anyway.
