Kansas City.... Who/What do you despise the most?90sBills replied to henry jones's topic in The Stadium Wall Shouldn’t you hate the NFL instead if this is true? She didn’t ask for any of this attention from the networks and the NFL.

Gabe Davis Finally activated to PShondo in seattle replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall No doubt Gabe Davis had some great plays (e.g. Pittsburgh) and great games (e.g. KC). He also disappeared for chunks of the season. I loved him when he was turned on. P.S. I just rewatched every Davis catch in the KC game... So much fun seeing Josh throwing downfield. Why can't Brady scheme like that?

It's definitely more likely than not that it means nothing, as does 95% of vague Twitter posts. However, if it were to mean something, the first clock may apply to Simmons. But he posted it again, specifically quote replying to Coleman's post. That wouldn't be about Simmons - whatever it's meant to imply.
-
I think Keon is laughing that people would think he is a trade target. Paul D is the agent for Jeffery Simmons..........who is an oft-mentioned trade deadline name.
-
You may not find a bigger pre-draft and current fan of Franklin than me. But the other poster is right that Keon as a whole has been better over the past two years. Yards per route run, first downs per route run, etc. Franklin has improved a lot from 2024 to this year, but that has coincided with him getting much more snaps out of the slot which is what basically everyone says the Bills need to try with Keon. Now unlike Keon, Franklin was instantaneously a great separator and I think he will continue to improve. If he can get his hands more consistent, he will be a good WR. I think Keon will be ok in the league. In the role he has been pigeonholed into and his current strengths as a receiver, it will lead to him being a very inconsistent player over the course of the season

It is so frustrating that we knew this the night that he was drafted.

“They gotta find ways to get guys open” Yes… that is what’s “wrong” with Josh. Perfectly said.

Kansas City.... Who/What do you despise the most?Chicken Boo replied to henry jones's topic in The Stadium Wall I actually don't mind the Chiefs. It's nothing like New England, for some reason. It might be because I'm older, but I truly despised NE and the run they were on. I'm indifferent with KC.

Might dig out my never worn Blue Jays jersey that was a gift and re-gift it to a Blue Jays fan I know. It be good karma. There’s no jinx in regifting.

I don't think Davis is precluding them from making a deal. They've known about his recovery this whole time and have still been reportedly in the mix for Meyers and Shaheed. But if you're expecting something huge beyond Davis and an addition like that, you're setting yourself up for disappointment. Olave was pretty much the only big fish. But he's out now with both the team and him wanting to do an extension. Wilson and Waddle will either stay put or will def be traded to someone else if they're moved, rather in the division. BTJ was never really available. Everyone ran wild with a story that simply said from the jump that teams were calling, but it's very unlikely he's moved. Since then they've said they absolutely aren't moving him. And A.J. Brown was never going to be moved even when he was disgruntled and he's since chilled on that. Something like Rashid Shaheed or Jakobi Meyers and Gabe Davis - knocking two of our underperforming WR's off of the roster is about the best we can realistically hope for. And would still be significantly better than what we're rolling out.
-
If you say so. Literally could not be less impressed by him so far. He's been a complete JAG so far. Maybe someday he'll average more than 4 catches a game or have 100 yards, but it sure isn't now.

That’s true but he came up as a good hitter, lost it for a while and has regained it and then some. I left Schneider off my list of scrappy guys. He’s another one.

He must be responding to this

No, it's not what we need according to Beane and McDermott. We haven't tried to fill that type of role with any meaningful attempts at any point in their tenure here. You could argue John Brown had that skillset, but it's not really how we used him. The only people clamoring for that type of receiver are the armchair GMs here.
