Week 13, Bills v. Squeelers, PREDICT THE SCORE!
HappyDays replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Steelers 26 Bills 17 I don't have a good feeling about this one. Dawkins and Brown are both likely out. Palmer is trending in the wrong direction. Kincaid may be back but probably not fully healthy. So what is the plan on offense facing off against TJ Watt and a great DL? Pittsburgh will do the same thing every team does - sell out to stop the run and dare our putrid WRs to get open fast enough before their DL gets home. Their secondary is their weak spot but can we really take advantage of that? Color me skeptical. This defense I expect to do its usual performance where they never make any big plays but they make a couple stops in the 2nd half. 42 year old Aaron Rodgers won't be punished for his total lack of mobility as he is given plenty of time to stand tall in the pocket and find openings against our zone. McDermott in his post game presser will crow about how well his unit battled while lamenting the offense's inability to sustain drives, continuing to set the stage for Brady as the sacrificial lamb after the season. Ultimately I've completely lost faith in this group. Go out and prove me wrong. -

This has to be a game where Allen runs the ball off script a few times. Feels like another low scoring game that contributes to our seasons demise. Steelers 24 Bills 23 -
Win this week and in!

Sounds like got a bag and poor rehab situation. I would guess he is likely done. Voiding guaranteed is rare and hard to do and win.

That was the funniest moment in a great comedy series, WKRP in Cincinnati.

I would accept 25-26 over the next 3 years post a SuperBowl win. Then turn around in year 4 and be where they are now? Sign me up!!!

All bets are off at this point. TJ Watt has to be licking his chops to play against backup tackles. Will Brady hear all the online abuse he received after the Texans game in not giving Allen extra blocking? Is Allen’s injury more debilitating than we realize? Will our weakness at linebacker get exposed harder against the Steelers tight ends? Can McD overcome his road woes? Steelers 21 Bills 16. Allen has the ball in his hands to win it at the end, but falls short. Another multiple turnover game. -
Their most expensive defender is Poona Ford at $9.2M per year. Bills currently have 7 defenders signed to either current contracts or extensions that are more expensive per year.
-
We’re gonna need some of an Allen running game. Not stand in the pocket run around and get clobbered, but take your drop, be decisive and take off through the gap.

That's why for years my 'go to' was a large vegetarian with extra cheese and chili sauce at Mighty Alpo. None of their mystery meat for me. 🤨😁

Let's be honest. This fan base doesn't like any coach or barely any players. -

I’m not a huge fan of Love but he sure does like to air it out. Nice pass there throwing it high so his guy can run under it. -
They both might yell at me, I never know what to get. They both seem like they sell ingredients more than meals, and I need a guide.

Why they running on 4th and 3. The GB linemen and LBs are so active it’s hard to get around them. -

Good topic and starter post. Thank you. Great post, which is partly to say, I agree with your priority list. If there is a silver lining to the injuries to Dawkins and Spencer it's that we should gain some O-line certainty going into the offseason. That said I'm not looking forward to playing against TJ Watt without those guys. Sedrick Very Pucking Good. Two players that I would comment on: 1) If Beane give Kincaid one of his stupid, premature and overly-lucrative extensions I'll be super pissed off. There is zero basis for Kincaid to receive an extension. Kincaid's proven that he's a good receiver when he's healthy... and that he can't stay healthy. 2) Those writing off Dion Dawkins are overreacting. While there's some basis for claims that his play has declined, the pitchforkers are also unhappy with his higher visibility this year. Dawkins is under contract for 2026 and 2027 and you don't create holes in your roster at positions that are difficult and expensive to fill... for no good reason. -

Close game - Allen is not the same Allen as the last several years and the O play calling really sucks. The Steelers are going to get lots of yards on the ground and control the tempo of the game. Still the Steelers are as banged up as the Bills, and even with Allen at 75% I think the Bills eek this out 24 -21. -

So Palmer, Kinacid and Samuel are probably going to be out. Moore has been released, and Cooks has less than a week to get up to speed. We're going to need Coleman to have removed his head from his rear. Feels like a game with 40 rushing attempts.
