  1. Past hour
  2. They could be right. We fans watch a lot of Bills games, and definitely see a lot of wins. They do follow a sort of formula though. If one or two parts of that formula aren’t achieved a loss is much more likely. Last week it was the turnover battle ( which they often win) and even not having the ball last with meaningful time on the clock. This may involve a bit more luck, but if the Bills defense is on the field in the final minutes a loss is likely. A two score lead is almost required. The defense can’t get key stops. Chances are good that in games vs better teams ( ie playoffs) the lack of a quick strike WR will keep the game within one score. This sets up a scenario that requires the D to make a key stop. How confident are you that the Bills defense could protect a 5 point lead late ? The Bills can get to the show as currently constructed, but they’d need an almost perfect scenario to punch their ticket.
  3. College football is pretty incredible!! Living in the south, you get the passion. There are some names floated that I don’t think are realistic (Deion, BB, Ryan Day and Sark). Those guys either don’t appeal or have too high profile of a job already. I think Matt Campbell (Iowa State) is the likeliest to make the jump. Lincoln Riley (USC) would probably be the next option. Curt Cignetti (Indiana) feels like an option too.
  4. I agree with you, but just to set the record straight I wouldn't call Tre's 1 year, 3 million contract "meaningful" in the 2025 NFL.
  5. I see myself as rational, and just responded to your suggestion that story about surveillance of GOP senators is as a “hoax”. From there you asked about the FBI and pardons. If what I wrote is irrational, feel free to point out the irrational part. I think it’s common knowledge and generally acceptable that this is how things work. There is precious little purity to involved, just deal and people doing all sorts of nasty and distasteful stuff. But, I get it. I hope you have a good night.
  6. I told my former boss the same thing. That's why he's my former boss
  7. I don’t think it’s bizarre because the O has looked kinda wonky in the passing game and we got beat by the Pats, which hurts and is frustrating. I think a decent amount of people don’t give Vrabel as much credit as he is due. They are a clear # 2 and we shouldn’t take them lightly. But, yeah, the Defense is looking like 💩. As usual, offseason rose colored glasses were worn by many. There were a lot of “if” opinions being treated as “when”. The problem with hoping and wishing is the real world doesn’t pay them any heed. Bishop is exceeding expectations so that’s a plus. Oliver came out gang busters for a game. Rookie Walker has been a pleasant surprise and maybe Jones but the rest🤷‍♂️
  8. Again, argue eye test all that you want. I posted FACTUAL numbers. No one is advocating for Amari Cooper. It’s INARGUABLE, that the passing game and scoring was better in the 8 games that he played vs. the ones that he didn’t. That’s all that post said. You are coming here to say, “yeah but this” and “yeah but that.” Feel free to argue for whatever you want except please don’t argue that the passing game AND scoring weren’t better with him than without. The numbers are the numbers
  9. I wonder why you can’t read the article? Yeah it must be a conspiracy.
  10. Sure - I'd love a jamar chase or something...but our WRs and TEs are fine. similar to what mahomes has. id rather upgrade the LB and CB/S slots.
  11. … Oh, come on, come on Come on, come on! … Didn't I make you feel Like you were the only man Yeah, didn't I give you nearly everything That a woman possibly can? Honey, you know I did!
  12. Yeah, I live in DFW. Interesting sports talk. Regardless, Jerry is old and losing it. Reminds me of how my grandmother lost her filter as she got older. The old guy can afford the fine; let him have fun.
  13. I don’t have a guy. I was very critical of Biden. But I’ve lived in an autocratic country and I can tell what Project 2025 and Trumps maneuvers are about. Kinda ends discussion to claim the other side can’t be trusted at all right? How do you have a discussion. It’s not possible to have a rational conversation on here. Enjoy.
  14. Ok so 2024 PHI- Brown 82% Smith 88% WAS- Mclaurin 82% Ertz 67% KC- Kelce 85% <--id say rice would have easily get 85+
  15. @Kirby Jackson any college coaches worthy of taking the reigns?? I watch a lot of college ball since I moved to the south a few years ago (college is king here; and I get it now), but I dont know well enough at all to even guesstimate. IMO, if we made a change, Im not into a re-tread, and I'm not into an old and passed by guy for sure (Cowher, Gruden, no thanks). Id swoop down into college ranks and pluck a guy from there!! Its risky, but better to me than the safer boring route I already covered.
  16. I found Wreck’s next vehicle.
  17. I’m getting giddy thinking about once Ed and Hoecht are back
  18. Yeah you definitely need some defense. The discrepancy in investments though is shocking over the past two offseasons. Out of 6 picks in the top 100 the Bills have taken an offensive player with just 1 of them. This past offseason their only meaningful offensive addition was Joshua Palmer. On defense they handed out meaningful contracts to Bosa, Hoecht, Ogunjobi, and White, and spent their first 5 draft picks on that side of the ball. All of those investments and the defense is pretty much identical to last year's. Unless Hoecht and Ogunjobi are going to singlehandedly raise this defense to a top 10 level, it feels like a lot of those resources would have been much better spent on a legit weapon for Allen.
  19. Hmmm, you think Kash Patel manufactured evidence, and that he has conspired with Chuck Grassley to deceive the public in a manner similar to the Steele dossier? I think that’s unlikely, and naive on your part. You’re consistent in that regard. As for “protecting” anyone, you’re going to have to expand on that a bit. Help me out, especially as it relates to the last, non-Kash Patel FBI. Surely they were prosecuting someone, somewhere in the ring before leadership changed? Or, were they part of the cover up? On “considering pardons”, I would be against pardoning Maxwell, as I was against pardoning the hardcore J6 perps and Joe Biden’s entire family tree. Still, law enforcement in general has a long history of working deals, using confidential informants and letting very bad guys go in exchange for something else they perceive as valuable. On the level of pardons, most people seem to get upset when it’s the other guy pardoning, and apathetic when it’s their guy doing the pardon. I think you’re probably in that camp. I guess if Maxwell offered enough value in getting the really big fish in exchange for a pardon, it would get done and most people would move on, disgusted, feeling dirty but knowing it happens. The challenge is there doesn’t seem to be any big fish to get. Team Biden would have burned Republicans and anyone in Trumps orbit. Team Trump would do the same, yet here we are. Personally, I think evidence against powerful people was deep-sixxed, and/or kept for leverage by very powerful people in govt.
  20. I don't click random blue links... Another conspiracy theory probably... Enjoy your fantasies of unity... Whatever the hell that means...
  21. I wouldn't be opposed to Beane accidentally stumbling on a WR1 to pair with Kincaid. Keon is definitely not going to be that guy. And Shakir will continue as a reliable WR2.
  22. Whether Keon turns out to be the right or wrong pick is one thing - but he wasn't lasting much longer though. If they wanted him, they really couldn't go much further back as NE was hot on Keon and had been trying to trade up for him too. With Keon gone they took Polk early instead who was a similar prospect at pick 34.
  23. I think its a schtick. A satire of his real personality, and a need to be liked especially when facing the media. Not HC material, but thats OK. Id freaking love to get him on staff somehow. Hes had just about the worlds hardest job the last few years, with a collection of the worst kids at school in his classroom. Id bet coming here with good structure in place, a chip on his back to show he belongs and the ability to just get back to X's and O's. We've seen some of the better coordinators cement themselves as great at their jobs after a demotion on the league. They are the guys that made them good enough coordinators to get hired, with new skills and revamped ability to handle stress/workload. I think he hates HC and loved being a coordinator, and hes proved to himself hes not HC material. That means an offensive minded guy on staff, you dont have to start thinking about losing after 4 games under Josh Allen. Sign me all the way the **** up!
