  1. Past hour
  2. if this kid is gonna hit his ceiling and be as good or better of a corner as tre was in his prime, then he will contribute positively to the team out the gate. if he can play i think he should play. let him make his mistakes now so come playoffs he's g2g.
  3. The president of the United States was fine with putting it center stage. I’m sorry that it upsets you that other people comment on it. Think back just a smidge. I’m not angry about anything. I commented earlier that it’s fun to mock the people that incessantly whine and complain about Trump. You even commented on that post. Take your angry comment and save it for the next older white guy that bugs you. I’m sure he’ll be along within a minute or two.
  4. I have no freaking clue what the offensive identity is the past 2 weeks. I guess put the game on Josh Allen and hope for the best. The defensive identity is to let the other team march down the field with time consuming touchdown drives while converting impossible 3rd and longs in the process. I call it the “bend AND break” Tampon 2 defense.
  5. This is the part that a lot of us are frustrated with the management of this team. It’s a shortcoming that the leadership needs to recognize and improve.
  6. I think the Bills and Beane should be laser focused on Rashid Shaheed. He's as good a fit for what they need as they are going to find out there, he's a UFA after this season so that should keep the asking price reasonable, and they should be able to fit him under the cap without too much maneuvering... He's returned both kicks and punts in his career but should be able to serve as the primary PR immediately which saves a roster spot. It just makes the most sense to me...
  7. Maybe we should have "talked with other bankers"
  8. I agree he's not going to start versus KC. When he is activated to the 53 man roster, I expect his snaps will be few and far between. As the season progresses, the number of snaps that he gets will depend on how well he's doing/
  9. Where is this heir apparent replacement for Diggs? 2024 draft, NO player after we took Keon is a bonafide WR1 starter - literally none. The guys who are were Nabers, Odunze, and BTJ with MHJ a disappointment, and ALL taken BEFORE our pick and none of those teams ahead of us had any interest in trading as far back as we were. The only 2 players who had any success from where we picked Keon were Ladd and Pearsall, both slot guys for a team who had nothing but slot WR's on it. Neither of those guys are outside WR's. The other argument is Worthy, also proven not to be a bonafide outside WR1 already whose stats are pretty pedestrian despite having more target opportunity, starting as a WR1 a bulk of his career due to injuries and suspensions, and playing the the greatest offensive mind and arguably the best QB in the league the whole time. So where is this "Diggs Replacement" we passed up? Its clear, it wasn't in the draft, so the only other option would have been via trade. The only 2 options were DK and Pickens. DK got a disgusting contract that would have cost us multiple players and prevented us from resigning Cook for a guy who is one dimensional and whose contract would have been problematic for a cap moving forward too. Pickens cost 2 draft picks and is going to cost a hefty contract to retain, but the bigger issue was we just got rid of one bad locker room guy whose me first attitude wore his welcome out here. Pickens whole career was marred with me first issues, team suspensions, and a team desperate for WR's decided he wasn't worth keeping. So not a surprise he wasn't a target. MOST IMPORTANT, is that BOTH of these guys were traded in an offseason where the Bills offense was coming off scoring the most total points in the NFL last year, led the AFC in PPG in both reg season and postseason, and saw its last time on the field end when the defense surrendered 32 points to a team that never broke 30 the entire season and was down 31-0 by the 3rd quarter in its next game. Not really a surprise Beane didn't feel he needed to give up both a 2nd round pick and a cap choking contract to a one dimensional WR or needed to gamble on a guy who had been a locker room issue his whole career to where his own team gave up on him despite desperately needing WR help, and so bad they were the ones to over pay for DK. But Steelers also don't have long term cap issues at QB either like the Bills have. So I am still waiting for someone to show us where the "savior" to post Diggs woes of the Bills WR was, because it doesn't exist. No one is arguing to not have a top end WR1, the point is that there has not been an opportunity to draft one and there has not been an opportunity to acquire one that made sense. I would not have been mad if DK or Pickens landed here, but its pretty clear why they didn't too at the time they were available.
  10. again...this is not what's happening at all. when have i ever said don't comment? never. my point it you're convinced that the trans population is truly an issue and that school are forming our kids into liberal blobs. it's getting shoved down your throat, (not mine because i have critical thinking skills) and in your head this is a major concern. i get such a kick out of seeing it. hey...we all know trump won because of the people who he ran against. the first election was interesting because he was something new (and hillary). the second election he won because of harris. so...you're just angry at the whining? are you that soft? trump unfortunately is, and it's rubbed off on so many of his followers. i mean the guy can't handle a late night personality. oh and the cheering after the show was taken off. the excuses how it wasn't trump, but bad ratings, but when it wasn't the ratings, it then became a conspiracy by the dems to take light of the charlie kirk murder. it's ok it the guy isn't perfect, but the constant mental gymnastics to undo the guy of any wrong doing is amazing.
  11. TBH, hendricks gets what, 30mm a year, parsons gets 40, crosby and garrett are between there. groot gets like 50-60% of elite money, which is basically fair. based on this year benford and bernard are overpaid, based on their prior 2 they are either fairly paid or kinda cheap. ed is a bit cheap right now but not consistent, bosa is on a so far very cheap 1 year deal. the problem is we have so many holes on d, too many street guys and rookies taking snaps at DT, and we need a real play maker to emerge.
  12. What you gonna do when things go wrong? What you gonna do when it all cracks up? What you gonna do when the love burns down? What you gonna do when the flames go up? Who is gonna come and turn the tide? What's it gonna take to make a dream survive? Who's got the touch to calm the storm inside? Who's gonna save you? Alive and kicking Stay until your love is alive and kicking Stay until your love is, until your love is alive
  13. He's not starting right off the bat when he comes back. Most likely will see a series or a quarter and rotate out. He's still a long way from earning a ton of snaps a week. This is why hopefully while he's been out he has been in the playbook, watching film, dedicating himself to his craft. I remember Josh's rookie year when he got banged up and missed a few games. He looked like a much sharper player when he got back and said the extra time off the field helped him. Hopefully, that plays out here as well
  14. Yep KC's offense took people by surprise in 2022. Defenses were still playing them like they had Tyreek Hill. In 2023 defenses adjusted to take away the easy short field completions and suddenly their offense started to struggle. So since then they have invested a ton into their WR room, and now right when their defense has fallen off a bit they have a passing offense to make up for it. That's what a forward thinking organization does. Adjust on the fly to work with the pieces you have, but don't get complacent just because you're able to make those pieces work for a short time. The Bills on the contrary are stuck in neutral. Whatever worked last year, just do it again. It turns out simply running everything back was the wrong strategy, as many people on here predicted. KC every year takes on a new identity.
  15. I'm not worried about this game, but I don't think I'll even watch the Bills-Chiefs game. The copy is already written and ready to go to press: "Surging Chiefs Humiliate Overrated Bills." I think the Bills will recover, in part because the fresh players, including (I hope) Olave, will get up to speed, and they could even beat the Chiefs in the playoffs, not easy with the ref bias. But week nine will be miserable.
  16. This is a huge week. Dalton playing helps the Bills. He has a low ceiling at this point. I think that the Bills show up and look sharp this week. Lol, I predicted that for 3 straight games. 🤣🤣 Josh might look like the MVP moving forward. It is more of a feeling than anything else but this is the most criticism this team and organization has taken in 5 years. It’s been deserved. Also, the Pats have a sneaky tough game this week. Playing Cleveland is no picnic. They get after you and can run the ball. This week could go a long way to restoring order in the AFCE.
  17. Everybody and their brother calls out Trump. You have plenty of company there. He makes it incredibly easy to do. What most don’t do is acknowledge that the reason we’ve had two separate Trump administrations is the performance of his predecessors and the candidates the Democrats ran against him. In other words, zero self reflection from those that whine the loudest. Add the people like you that say “why are people commenting on issues I don’t care about” and it’s incredibly tiresome. Or it’s a form of entertainment that any educated person can make up their own mind about. One of the nice things about the Internet and social media is you can find any opinion you want and read both sides of any issue. There are actually people that do that. It’s easier to talk about scary old white men than believe that I guess. You seem to take issue with people that think differently than you. regarding did I have to watch it – I watched it because I wanted to be informed. You should give it a shot.
  18. lol. did you have to watch it? when i mean shoved down anyone's throat, i was referring to social media. do you actually read what's posted sometimes on here? it's absolute trash taken as reality strictly because it riles people up and supports their side. it happens on both directions, but just have a read. it's terror fuel for old white men. it sells and you guys buy.
  19. Are you suggesting I somehow had Joe Biden being unhinged for that speech shoved down my throat? I watched it on TV. There’s even a transcript available. but trump… sigh
  20. This is a big issue, the use of our personnel makes no sense. They are using Keon poorly and forcing a square peg into a round hole, they dont use a 2 TE attack despite having invested a 1st and a 4th into Kincaid and gazillion dollars into Knox where they always keep one in as a blocker, they aren't using Cook in the passing game much at all, Samuel and Moore get very little consideration despite seeing Samuel running open a lot and Moore gets reverses more than anything, and we are not getting Kincaid and Shakir the targets they should be getting as the two best pass catchers on this team. Ive been a big Brady supporter the first season and a half was here, and the results spoke for themselves. But this year, I have been critical of Brady every single week. I don't think Brady is doing a good job adjusting to how the defenses have adjusted to defend his offense, I think they have over corrected to be too cautious, and I think he is calling a poor game plan where he also gets too cute too much. To be honest, this reminds me a lot of the downfall IMO of what was Daboll as an OC here. Once Daboll started getting buzz as both an offensive guru and major HC candidate, suddenly Daboll got pretty stupid on down and short or in key situations where he would try and get too tricky, too gimmicky, as if he wanted to keep raising his hype train more than he cared about calling our best plays in key moments. Brady IMO has started going that route now after his emergence last season with an offense that grossly exceeded its expectations under his first year as the full time OC. I am hoping the bye week gives him time to reflect on how to better use our guys and better call a game. As I have been saying since our loss - Brady should spend the bye studying 2 things: How Eagles manage down and short and how Atlanta used both Drake and Bijon in the passing game as it was exactly how we should be using Keon and Cook. Not saying our 2 guys are as good as their 2, but how they moved both around to get them good looks and better opportunities is what we are not doing with either Keon or Cook. Keon may not be headed for a gold jacket, but I think he can still be a quality football player for this team if he is used properly. He has proven he can win on slants, crossers, and comebacks yet we don't create many opportunities for him. We keep lining him up outside and asking him to beat guys off the line, and even when he has, we aren't giving him the targets. But when we do give him targets its mostly 50/50 balls, and quite frankly, Josh has not been putting the ball in good spots this year on those 50/50 balls either. So STOP with that route and lets get Keon involved by moving him around and scheming him open.
  21. As long as the 2 common denominators are here nothing will change
  22. that's not what i said. at all. you have no idea what my thoughts on politics at all, but since it seems like i'm calling out trump, you get sensitive. we all just have to realize who were stuck with for a few years. i'm part of the reason he's here too, but i also realize he refused to acknowledge he lost an election, he concerned what late night talk show hosts say about him, he hiding files that could possibly crumble a child pedo ring, etc. i'm sorry, but any president that trolls anyone on twitter is just a child.
  23. Yesterday you were all about cost and necessity. Today, you hope somebody takes a wrecking ball to it cost/necessity be damned. consistency in your principles is overrated. Especially when the subject is TRUMP.
  24. ...so... this is is a guy who went through the legal process to execute power he wished to have instead of just a "pen and phone?" or casting relentless EO's or using a memo to force universal health care? i don't know who you are but i know you're not very intelligent so i guess i won't bother with much more of your posts because the argument you just made proves you dont' know diddly.
  25. From Reid to Mahomes to that famous guy literally said they were spreading it around with no clear cut #1 target that year. It may be that I watch more general NFL football coverage than just Bills so my perspective made be more macro and not confine to just Bills.
  26. I can understand that perspective, at least the preferring not to cast a vote for Trump. I'll always recall where I was when Trump declared, rolling my eyes and thinking "What's happening here?" and to be candid, I found his pre-presidential persona to be much more WWE than grifter/conman. We used to watch The Apprentice as a family and enjoyed it for what it was. What's ironic to me is that all the warning signs were missed when W Bush was accused of fabricating intelligence, leading the US into a war that lefts millions dead and injured, and when his time in office ended, here's what we got: Somehow, someway, all was forgiven by the party that replaced him. The war criminal president suddenly became ole Grampa George, lovable artist and friend to Michelle and Barrack who didn't care so much about that whole war criminal thing. Meanwhile, I thought it interesting that the party of Reagan would look to trot out yet another Bush as a serious, yet ultimately lesser candidate, matched up against the Dems candidate....another, ultimately lesser, Clinton. I think there is a lot of truth to the concern about grifts and con-people, but we probably disagree on where to look first to find it.
