  2. "Wash this"
  3. On the 'Bussin with the boys' podcast, Josh was asked what gave him hope that the team could get better. He said "the new guys we have acquired like Palmer and Moore". I reckon he makes the 53.
  4. All because they may bring Jordan Phillips back? Wow.
  5. Today is "try to trade your future castoffs for a 7th" day. Tomorrow is cutdown day.
  6. Since Beane took over, the number of leaks we see on TBD from supposed insiders has dwindled down to almost nothing.
  7. I like Shavers because we don't have a bunch of big targets for Josh and he seems like a good kid. And his one-handed grab was fantastic. But he's never been good enough to crack an opening day roster, and I wonder - at the ripe NFL age of 26 - if he's any better this year than last. It seems to me he's still slow (4.64 40) and has trouble gaining separation. We've seen a little of him in preseason games, but I wonder who he's been outperforming in camp.
  8. Bruised hand. Hahahahahahahahahaa.
  9. Ok, so not the RB, no surprise. But apparently its a waste of time to dick around your DEs and WRs. Just pay em. But that's kinda my point too. There are so many ways to look at these deals, and its so easy to craft them so it gives the agent/player their bragging rights while still being reasonable for the team. I get you have to do the whole song and dance because if the team just jumped to it then the agent asks for even more... but jeez louise.
  10. Where yall at with the insider scoop on Tre's injury. Back in the good ol days one of yalls cousins worked at OBD and heard magic through the ductwork...
  11. I’d like for Moore to make the team. He smoked DB’s a few times in preseason and Mitch/White just couldn’t get it to him. Didn’t love the drops and some other stuff, but he has a high ceiling as a WR4/5 and gives us an actual slot backup to Shakir, which we didn’t have last year.
  12. I'm sure they'll trade him to a bottom feeder team for a 5th or 6th or if he does get waived I doubt he'd fall to us in the pecking order.
  13. I think it really all depends on what kind of connection and chemistry he's had with Josh during camp. Josh hasn't played in the preseason so Moore has only received throws from Mitch and White for the most part. IMO, he gets cut. He'll be this years OJ Howard
  14. Liberals are prepping to OWN Trump by burning flags. They are well within their rights and it should work out really well for them. Should be fun.
  15. They have GOT TO STOP doing this stuff.
  16. Teams do it all the time, most rookies are not NFL ready from day one.
  17. My guess is that it’s nowhere close to $32 million per in reality.
  18. The Chiefs are likely going to cut Joshua Williams. Buffalo should grab him in a heartbeat if that happens. He's a decent player, but there's something the Chiefs seem not to like about him, as he certainly seems like a better CB than some of the guys ahead of him on the depth chart. He'd be an improvement over White, Jackson, or Rasul Douglas.
  19. Spencer Rattler
  20. Cook didn't get what he was asking for and the guaranteed money reported was false. He only got $15 million gaurenteed at signing.
  21. It wouldn't be a Bills season without a Jordan Phillips signing. What the heck, he's a known quantity and the DL depth chart is looking unseasoned and mediocre until Hoecht and Ogunjobi come back. He will probably be inactive until something bad happens, anyway. Also a great teammate and de facto Bill for Life, by somewhat unconventional means. Also, does anyone know if there is a record for the number of times a player has retuned to the same team after being off that team for whatever reason?
  22. The Saints don't have a salary cap problem. They have a QB problem. If anything, it should vindicate their strategy. Who cares about your cap when your QB is Tyler Shough?
  23. So $32M/year which is what he was asking for when everyone was saying he was too old to pay that... so wtf were the Commanders waiting for? In each and every one of these hold out/in scenarios, it's the team trying to refuse reality. And most of the time, or every time, they end up giving the player what they wanted. Even Cook, who while didnt get his $15M starting number, surely got more than Beane initially offered and a bunch of guaranteed money.
  24. All real good points. The MAC is not big time college football. My son played high school ball in the Atlanta area 8-10 years ago. He played w X McKinney on the Packers and their back up QB from Liberty-name escapes me at the moment. Their team was loaded as any HS team was back in 2016. He was recruited hard by Bowling Green and W Michigan. Chose Syracuse and then transferred to Georgia Southern. Had a good career. But played a little out of position as a 4-3 DE versus LB. The level of play in the Sun Belt was better than the MAC. But not exponentially. (My son should have transferred before his last year to a mid level Big 10 or ACC program and would have had a better shot at the pros- but he always did his own thing w/o asking his parents for advice) My point is not a lot of stud players are coming out of either conference. We got Leodis McKelvin from Troy. (Da Marcus aware played there also). I know nothing about this kid Dolac. But it’s a big step up to the NFL from Group of 5 schools is all. Does Dolac look like the next LT? And you are also right about living in a big time city when you are in your 20’s. I moved to Atlanta after college when I graduated in 1987. My two boys live in Miami. And my daughter lives in LA. But we have Cialo. I think he could really be a baller in the NFL. I sure hope McBeane feel the same way!’
