WASHINGTON — Conservative Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas got a lawyer for the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office to admit Tuesday it mounted a “fishing expedition” against a pro-life organization without receiving specific complaints about the group. Thomas drilled down on the investigation of First Choice Women’s Resource Centers during oral arguments in a case challenging a subpoena the organization received from AG Matthew Platkin’s office. “You had no basis to think that they were deceiving any of their contributors?” Thomas asked Chief Counsel Sundeep Iyer. “We certainly had complaints about crisis pregnancy centers,” Iyer deflected before admitting none specifically applied to First Choice, a faith-based nonprofit with five facilities across the Garden State that discourages women from terminating their pregnancies. “I think we had a more than ample basis to initiate this,” he added, citing concerns about misleading donors, unlicensed medical practices, violation of patient privacy, and “potentially misleading or untrue medical statements.” “Well, that just seems a burdensome way to find out whether someone has a confusing website,” jabbed Thomas. https://nypost.com/2025/12/02/us-news/scotus-justice-clarence-thomas-forces-nj-attorney-to-admit-state-targeted-pro-life-group-with-probe/

Behn would have been better on my wallet? -
Yes. I can see him coming back once or twice a year to attend games. Keeping a home here year round just for those few days…probably not.

The Biden Administration okayed Special Counsel Jack Smith's subpoenaing congressional phone records knowing the subpoenas were unconstitutional, emails released last week revealed. That same trove of documents also established the illegality of the nondisclosure orders issued by the courts to prevent the telecommunication providers from alerted the members of Congress of the unconstitutional seizure of their toll records. Last week, as the nation turned its attention ahead to travel and turkey, Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, released another two dozen documents related to the Arctic Frost investigation into President Donald Trump and Special Counsel Jack Smith’s subpoenaing of congressional phone records. A May 17, 2023 email from the Biden Administration’s Department of Justice to Smith’s team proves explosive, with the Public Integrity Section “concur[ring] in the subpoenas for toll records for the identified Members of Congress.” This email may represent the first public evidence that the Biden Administration’s DOJ knew the special counsel’s office planned to subpoena congressional Republicans. But the scandal is even greater because in “concurring” in Smith’s use of subpoenas to target communications of members of Congress, the DOJ’s Public Integrity Section expressly acknowledged the unconstitutionality of the proposed course of action. https://thefederalist.com/2025/12/01/new-docs-reveal-jack-smith-intentionally-violated-congressional-republicans-constitutional-rights/

I think the d is middle of the pack. If we had Ed and Hoecht, I think we’d be top 8ish. we’re currently 2nd to last in epa vs the run and 4th best against the pass. Given up the most rushing TD while tied for 2nd least. Passing TDs. Our sack % is actually 12th and ahead of the Rams, which shocked me. I love watching their defense.

Tyrell Shavers and blocking as a WR

Or Paul Seymour doing the opposite. Hey, it worked. And it worked better as the game progressed and the Steelers D got tired. Belichick pulled the heavy sets on us a couple times and had success against McD's defense that prioritized speed and quickness over raw strength. The NFL is now all about speed on defense (McD was a bit ahead of his time), and this offense can have success against a lot of teams. But will it work in the playoffs? Probably not. -
The #1 Key To Buffalo Going On A Playoff Run

Good time to bring up the fan police on here after Pats and Falcons defeats when you point out that those would end up being massively costly - even back in early October. They cant wait to tell you its an overreaction and season starts after Thanksgiving, calm down etc. Well it turns out pissing away easy games early on does indeed count in your final record and ultimate seeding. Path is not impossible, but its definitely harder than it ought to have been based on the schedule we had this year (look at next year for example, way harder schedule)(also comically we could end up with Texans, Ravens and 49ers/Seahawks/Rams as 2nd place teams - so there really wont be any schedule advantage over the 1st place Pats either) -

our offense is by design because of our limiting tools. kincaid is bust because of availability. if he's not able to play this weekend i will be entirely disappointed. -

2025 Bills are similar to which Superbowl champion?
FitzShowUsYourTitz replied to Kelly to Allen's topic in The Stadium Wall
RE: 1996 Patriots- Offense was dynamic, defense was average so I get the comparison. The coaching staff was lightyears ahead of ours. if only McDermot was part of the BeliCheat tree we would be illegally filling and working on our 3rd Superbowl Oh to dream!! -

The #1 Key To Buffalo Going On A Playoff Run
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to iwishitwerecolder's topic in The Stadium Wall
The primary competition in WC - not going to get into tiebreakers because i think its too early. LAC - 8-4 - PHI, @KC, @DAL, HOU, @DEN - Absolutely brutal schedule - 10-7? Maybe? IND - 8-4 - @JAX, @SEA, SF, JAX, @HOU - Another tough slate - Also 10-7. JAX - 8-4 - IND, NYJ, @DEN, @IND, Tenn - Couple easy home games, 3 tough games - 11-6 best case which would probably take the division HOU - 7-5 - @KC, ARI, LVR, @LAC, IND - Couple easier games at home, but 3 tough games - 10-7 best case - indy week 18 might be win and in KC - 6-6 -HOU, LAC, @TEN, DEN, @LVR - Easy road games, and 3 teams they can beat at home - I'd guess 10-7 and if the loss is to denver they're very much in the mix. BAL - 6-6 - PIT, @CIN, NE, @GB, @PIT - 3 wins would get them to 9-8 PIT - 6-6 - @BAL, MIA, @DET, @CLE, BAL - Could see them splitting and both finishing 9-8, another interesting week 18 scenario. Based on this - Buffalo is probably the 5 seed if they go 3-2 the rest of the way. It will depend on who wins the AFC South - but if there's an 11-6 team, the other 2 are probably 10-7. I don't see any of the other 3 going on a 5-0 run to get to 11 wins, and we have tiebreakers over all of them anyway. So I think the ideal scenario would be BAL losing @CIN, and PIT losing @DET and @BAL. Week 18 game would be for the division as they'd both finish 9-8 and Pittsburgh would take it on divisional record. I would rather play a team we handily beat than a team that trucked us in week 1 - injured lamar is still more dynamic than rodgers. -

Obviously Number one is the correct answer. A mistake that the Democrat party will continue to make. -
The only thing that could keep him, would be maybe if he started having kids soon. Harder to move once you start planting those roots.

Hartline to USF! Good for him I guess. It had to happen sometime but what a run on the Wr position. Not only his recruiting but how pro-ready they all were. Not worried about the play calling part. He’s still developing there. Probably getting Chip back next year haha

If we beat the Bengals, we’re winning the AFC
HappyDays replied to No_Matter_What's topic in The Stadium Wall
Pats have to lose to Dolphins or Jets for it to matter. If they beat both, even if they lose to us and the Ravens they end 13-4. If we win out we also end 13-4 and they win the tiebreaker for division record. Our slimmest of hopes is that the Dolphins upset them in week 18 and that we win out. I've given up on the division. It is what it is. Root for the Steelers to win the AFCN and the Chiefs to miss the playoffs. That gives us an incredibly easy road schedule all the way to the Super Bowl. Something like Pittsburgh, Jacksonville, Denver. I don't care if we play all of those games in Timbuktu, I like our chances. -
8th In "D" - 2nd in "O"!?!?!
Royale with Cheese replied to MarlinTheMagician's topic in The Stadium Wall
In my opinion, we think the defense is worse that it actually is because of the consistent huge run plays we give up and our 3rd down defense. Our two best interior pass rushers, Oliver and Hoecht gone for the year. Consistent injuries at DE forcing TJ Sanders out of the middle where he's the best. I wouldn't say our defense is good but it's not bad. Our offense has been very inconsistent. -
Kelly grew up in Pittsburgh so the Buffalo area was naturally more homelike compared to Cali for Allen even if he says the place resonates deeply to him. Different world now that NFL stars are quasi global stars and they maintain a small residence down the road but I would expect them to be in Cali.

Yes, I would definitely always have a home in the Buffalo area too if I were Allen and had his wealth. I assume he will. There are things you cannot get in Southern California, where I grew up in part, that you can in Buffalo. (I mean the good things!) Where else will he be as respected and loved as much as he is in Buffalo? -

Bills had a horrible game plan for the texans too. Play them like we played the Steelers (smash mouth, ball protection) and we win -
My first game at Rich, Bills' first Monday Night ABC-TV prime time appearance, October 29, 1973. Bills beat Chiefs 23-14, O.J. goes over 1,000 in game 7. The following season opener, 1974 against the Raiders. O.J. was hurt. Maybe because it's ancient history, but surprisingly, this game rarely gets a mention as one of the great ones. The ending was somewhat like the 13 second game or any other in which there are multiple lead changes in the final couple of minutes. The Bills pulled it out with a pass from Joe Ferguson to Ahmad Rashad (who was known as Bobby Moore when he was traded to the Bills). And the 1980 season opener against the hated Miami Dolphins who had gone 20-0 in the 70's. Beautiful sunny 1pm Sunday game in which the Bills finally ended the streak. Goal posts came down. Looked like the Bills were finally a team to reckon with. That's my big 3. Honorable mention: win against Rams, Dec 7, 1980 Chuck Knox era coming to fruition
