Nominee for Weak Excuse of the Year
Royale with Cheese replied to Peace Frog's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn’t. Most of the times, if I come back in a few minutes, its flaring up again. I need like 30 for it to go completely away. I have had something like this is my hamstring training on the mats and it took about an hour to go away. It wasn’t moving like this one but it had ripples. I really don’t think there is anything more painful in the world. I have had a woman who gave birth say that its worse than delivery a baby lol. -
Great., Thanks--never been on that part of that site. Did not know about it. And great to see that Bosa is already playing as a full time, full fledged starter. Not just here to pressure the passer. Hope this continues. Guy was so happy for the win yesterday, ecstatic to be part of this team.

The Bears are in no position to pass up FGs to add to a lead. Take the points when you can Ben.

Just checked in on Purple Pain. Vikings fans are not taking this game well: https://purplepainforums.com/thread/8650/week-vikes-bears-support-group?page=42 -
I believe we will see Rapp and Hamlin next week. If you remember, they used bishop in the ravens playoff game last year, and moved him into the box against Henry. I wouldn’t be surprised if Hamlin is the starter from here on out but Bishop is used against run heavy teams.

Sad. A band of my very young teenage years. They were great and i still have their songs on my various playlists.

so he’s the 8th best rookie in a given year while starting for the Josh Allen ps: we really don’t need to argue both McD and Bean trashed his first season openly this off season … it was not good

How did your actions yesterday help the Bills to win? Something you ate? Did you change your shirt at halftime? I’ll start… I left early, somehow the team sensed I was not feeling well, and it caused them to not play well. Once I got to the hotel and turned on the TV, they sensed I was safe and sound and started their comeback.

This Bears game is the football equivalent of watch paint dry. -
Going back to Ray “Double Murder” Lewis, this is a franchise that prioritizes talent above all else, even as recent as drafting Mike Green. God only knows how long they were covering up for Justin Tucher... Sometimes it works out, but it leaves you with a roster full of… guys hard to root for. I guess it’s all fitting for a franchise with the shadiest origin story in the league.

I do think it’s different though. Allen is far superior in the big games. Neither coach is anything to write home about when it comes to championships. Somehow Baltimore (Ravens) have won two super bowls with HCs that have less influence than the star players and/or coordinator. Ray Lewis won that guy a title -
How much better is the Ravens team on paper than the Bills?

I feel as the year progresses, the talent gap between the 2 teams will close dramatically. Guys like Keon Coleman, Kincaid, and Shakir will all cement themselves as solid starters. One of these defensive rookies is going to break, but I’m not sure which. -
They also play big and McDermott is willing to play the long game with a 6 man box lol sometimes 7 He's playing a long game.. and daring them to continue it for 60 minutes which is tough on any coach to have that commitment... Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't But 70 years of modern football say you probably wants seven sometimes 8 in the box to slow them down... But McDermotts defenses historically tighten up in the red zone and later in the game And he gets a full read on that Ravens run game through three quarters.. to where those last couple drives when they did try up the gut... On it like white on rice But he does give up three quarters of getting gashed because he doesn't want to put more people in the box

I left early, at the end of the 3rd. I wasn't feeling well, and knowing how traffic can be after the game, I just wanted to get back to my hotel and sleep. I was not looking forward to the multi hour drive it would take after the game ended. We did manage to see the last 5 minutes or so once we got to our room, so yes, I'm disappointed I left, but glad the Bills won. Or you can look at it another way, by leaving early, all the bad juju left the building, which in turn helped the Bills win. Which reminds me, I need to start a thread... -

Josh Allen has played sensationally for us fans and we love him! He was stoked and I understand how he was feeling when he told us not to give up on them. I would like to take him aside though, and explain that it was a Sunday night game, and that leaving early can save people an hour in traffic on their long rides home and they must feel worse than anybody about leaving! But most of them did it because they have to work in the morning and the odds of a comeback were very slim. And I'd tell Josh that the fans can't sleep at work like most of the Bills did for the first 3 quarters of the game. I'd ask him that next time they stage a comeback for the ages, how about they do it during a day game? -
That's patently false. Even with missing 4 games due to injury, he was 8th in rookie WR receiving yards, tied for 8th with two others in TDs. And he measured 6'3" and 213 lb at the combine.

Limp, crawl, walk, hobble to the sideline and have the coach call a TO with 1 second on the play clock. They will go to commercial and you get 2 minutes to work out whatever is happening. If you can't fix it in that time. Take the penalty and then punt it. You don't keep your '2nd' best player on the sideline when you need a 1st down.

4th&3. You punt. Which is wild because given that you’re playing the Bills, they give up short yardage game-on-the-line first downs like candy vs KC. If they lined up, it would’ve been my lowest point of the night because I know they’re getting it. But the correct thing to do is punt. A tipped Coleman TD on 4th&2 is something that shouldn’t have happened. -
