  1. Past hour
  2. Another loss for us. Their defense a lot tougher than Buccaneers. Trap game, too. Josh Allen gave it his all this Sunday. Does he have anything in the tank for a quick turnaround? And as usual, our defense will not step up to get crucial 3rd down stops.
  3. Allen already has 28 TDs on the season. Only needs 12 more in 7 games to hit 40 again for the 6th year in a row to extend his record... During his regular season career, he averages 2.41 TDs per game so if he simply hits that over the next 7 games he will end up with 17, giving him 45 for the year...
  4. This part right here
  5. Do tell. How many draft picks have other GMs of contending teams whiff on? How many of their FA signings haven't worked out? I can't disagree with you on Elam and Boogie being busts. Ford was interesting - he's been starting consistently for Cincy. And Coleman isn't looking good. But when we want to talk " track record", don't we have to ask questions about what a great track record looks like, and how Beane compares to that?
  6. And? I never claimed they were some dominant team. Regression to what subjective mean?
  7. There should be some sort of regression to the mean. Of course there's a chance it won't happen, but it should happen. Also, the universe seeks balance. Or something like that.
  8. Bills win. Chiefs lose. That's money, baby.
  9. They easily could have lost to the Jets this past week if the Jets had an average NFL QB. And the Jets might be the worst team in the league. Jets were within 1 score in the 4th quarter.
  10. With a healthy team (including Ed (I have a little more optimism). But we need Kincaid and Cook at their best to do it and a relatively healthy D including Bosa.
  11. Any weakness on the Texans defense? They rank within top 5 every defensive category. Tough matchup
  12. How so? They have gone 9-2 over 11 weeks but are going to go 3-3 over 6? this also assuming the Bills win out or maybe lose one not to the Pats.
  13. Eagles fans no longer have backing to complain about the defensive holding call that set up the Chiefs’ game winning FG in the SB a few years back. As ticky tack as that was at least there was a jersey grab on that play. There was literally nothing on the PI that was just called on the Lions.
  14. A lot of young guys are playing. And we're still trying to get healthy. Bosa is probably a few weeks away with that wrist from being himself. Bernard is getting healthier but clearly he 8not 100, same with a few others.... We'll see what happens. It's a concern obviously Gotta give credit to Tampa too... Baker is legit, Tampa is legit. We were lucky some of their guys were banged up It was a classic shootout All well said. Let's hope some of the older vets have one last run in them this postseason.
  15. Their fans are starting to have doubts. Honestly as much as I'd like them to suck I'd rather they get bounced in the first round of the playoffs. last thing we need is them getting a good draft position.
  16. For sure. If we get into the playoffs, and Chiefs and Ravens don’t, I like our chances to come out of the AFC as much as anyone. And only because we have Josh.
  17. I was at the game today and I always have a harder time paying attention to individual performances in person. I'll give my game balls to the two game changing players on each side of the ball: Allen Bishop I don't know if they talked about it on the broadcast but it was deceptively windy on the field today. It wasn't a coincidence both QBs had some errant passes and multiple WRs had trouble corralling otherwise easy catches. Given the wind and the fact that Tampa mostly shut down our run game while we were hopeless in stopping theirs, Allen had to put the team on his back and he did. This was a game where the difference in QB play from each team ultimately decided the result. The defense as a whole was awful, it is hard to find positives in a game where JAG RBs had their way with us. Bishop however has seemingly overnight become our best defensive player. I can't remember the last time a Bills player took this kind of leap in the middle of a season. We have ourselves a true ballhawk and the importance of that can't be overstated.
  18. Agreed that heart issue was the only reason he wasn’t drafted. He’s clearly better than White. Bucky and Tucker are a great one two punch come playoff time
  19. It's honestly astounding how bad the Eagles offense is based on how good their OLine is and their skill position players.
  20. I hate Collingsworth but was pleased to hear him say that was a "terrible call." I assumed the commentators are told not to critique the refs like that so that was good to hear. That said, I had zero faith in Goff being able to tie the game there. Speaking of terrible, that's what he was tonight..
  21. Front seven is too small. LBs and CBs are too slow. Pass rush is too inconsistent. Deone Walker, Maxwell Hairston and Cole Bishop are hopefully good steps in the right direction. Still need another 1-2 good drafts to replace the aging vets we’ve lost over the years. Paying Terrell Bernard was a mistake, whether he’s injured or not.
  22. My best friend is a die hard Bears fan, while he is obviously very happy he said the same, that they are not very good
  23. The Eagles fired Andy after a 4-12 season on the back of an 8-8 and no playoffs year. I'm not sure McDermott and Beane would survive a single no playoff season. This defense as currently constructed is trash though. I'd be stunned if we held good teams down in the post season.
  24. I heard McD gained a lot of Saudi fans after some choice comments a couple seasons back. Let's hope it wasn't one of those guys.
  25. Well, we'll never know will we because the refs decided it was going to end right then and there on their garbage call Shouldn't be that way
