The Saints also showed them something they hadn't seen and weren't ready for. That was about to be a successful 2pt conversion if he doesn't call it.
-
That series where they ran four consecutive times and turned it over on 4th down, during a crucial point of the game, just cannot happen with Josh Allen at QB. And Joe Brady needs to be explicitly told it cannot happen.
-
Slow for sure, but all the missed tackles worries me the most. The runners especially just bust through arm tackles left and right. Cook and Allen bailed the team out this week.

No one in that building from the front office to the players should be anything but humble and hungry. Beane needs to start figuring out how and where to improve. 3 of our wins are against teams that are a combined 0-10. Now 3 of those losses are against us. The Jets and Dolphins could easily have at least 1 win. In Week 9 it starts to get real with KC. The back half is not some cake walk. At Pitt. At Cle. At NE will not be easy. Tampa will be tough. Philly. The defense we’re currently playing is capable of costing us 3-4 of those games. Im glad it’s not peaking. I think it will get better. But it does need an addition. -
The colts trotted out the vaunted 10 man defense against the Rams today for the final touchdown.
-
…and had to be taken because his team only had 10 men on the field in a crucial situation. Did I miss the announcement of Wrex Ryan appreciation day or something?
-
He can't play defense Its hard to argue the 30+ a game isn't working, but Josh looks handcuffed in these game plans. Last year the pass set up the run. This year they are trying so hard to use the run first. And everybody eats is costing the Bills feeding the ball to our best playmakers in Shakir and Kincaid. Coleman should be 3rd in targets well behind those two. Pats won with Gronk and either Edelman or Welker getting the majority of the targets.

Was he also reading from a teleprompter. He didn't look at the camera during the entire opening bit. It was slightly off to his right. -
Currrently there are only 4 teams scoring an average of 30 or more points/game (in 2025): Detroit: 34.25 Buffalo: 33.25 Baltimore: 33.25 Indianapolis: 30.75 In 2024, only 3 teams averaged 30 or more points/game: Detroit, Buffalo, Baltimore. In 2023, only one team averaged 30 or above: Dallas. In 2022, No teams averaged 30 or more points per game. In 2021, only one team averaged 30 or above: Dallas. In 2020, only two teams averaged 30 or more: Green Bay and Tampa Bay. So, over the last 6 years, only 11 teams averaged 30 or more points per game. With 32 teams over 6 years, that means only 11 teams of a possible 192 teams accomplished that feat (or it only happened 5.73% of the time over the last 6 years---and that is if all four 2025 teams can maintain that rate for the rest of the year). It may not be remarkable to score 30 points in an individual game, but to do it on a consistent basis is actually quite a feat. Since 2020 (5-1/4 years), the Bills have averaged 29.64 points per game. Since Brady took over OC, we have averaged 29.97 points/game.

I think Jonathan Taylor is the best bet, partially because the Colts need to ride his high usage whereas the Bills could find themselves spreading the ball around more in blowouts or at the end of the season. Puka is a candidate too since Stafford is giving him the full Kupp treatment. Also something of an injury concern as he fully embraces contact. Then there’s Bijan Robinson who is an all purpose yards master on an offense that can sputter. I’d put Cook at third most likely.

I think it's always been middle of road field Not bottom five, not top five... Just squarely in the middle and occasionally some people are slipping But our team practices and plays there enough that they should know the correct spikes for the cleats to mitigate it the best -
To #2 was necessary, there were only 10 players on the field. That was me and yes they showed it later on the broadcast
-
Two of the Saints three games prior to this were decided by 7 points or less. This nonsense narrative that the Bills need to blow everyone out is ridiculous. Its the NFL. Its hard to win. Be glad they are 4-0 and move onto next week.
-
Solomon, Groot, Sanders and Jones are not getting it done early in the season. At this point, I really have to question our scheme as our pass rush is just woeful. I’m not convinced it’s gonna be any better with the addition of the two suspended DL, and the return of Oliver and Milano. If our D doesn’t take a significant step up, it’s gonna be a major liability!

Damn what this thread is telling me is that its all gonna end badly in playoffs due to the defense, another year of wasting JA. Oh well at least that big comet isn't gonna hit us -
I legitimately haven't seen him won many, if any clean pass rush snaps this year. He made some good plays in the run game including the 2 point conversion stuff. But his pass rush still looks non existent to me

I don’t think any bills fans have watched rattler play this year which isn’t helping the optics of this one too much…he’s looked good a few weeks in a row now and is getting talked about like he’s some fan that won a contest to start at qb 😂 I think the defense will be better than average if they can get back to reasonably full strength…better than average enough who knows though haha kind of nice Ed has been getting a break for these easier games…I think if we were in playoff football mode now Rapp might be getting benched but they’re probably trying to see if they can turn him around deone walker playing well is a really good sign -
I wonder how the saints would’ve done today with a starting RT, DT and LB out
-
Josh is in full control of the offense and can audible and get to any play at any time now You always want the best play calling to maximize anything but Josh can get into anything he wants he knows the offense like the back of his hand... If he doesn't like the play call he can go to something else
-
Not sure, but someone during the game posted after that TO they still only had 10 men on defense for the 2pt conversion. Anyone know if that is true?
