Judge Rejects Corporation For Public Broadcasting’s Motion To Block Donald Trump From Removing Board Members by Ted Johnson A federal judge on Sunday declined to issue an order to prohibit Donald Trump from removing three board members of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, as the administration seeks to zero out funding for public media stations, PBS and NPR. In declining to issue a preliminary injunction, U.S. District Judge Randolph Moss wrote that the CPB had failed to meet the threshold to halt Trump’s effort to remove Sony’s Tom Rothman, as well as Laura Ross and Diane Kaplan. Moss wrote, “Although the case presents important questions regarding the status of the Corporation and its relationship with the federal government, the Court must leave those questions for another day. https://deadline.com/2025/06/trump-pbs-npr-board-members-1236427047/

More than that.

You were complaining that if Trump got elected he'd be Hitler. You're still not happy with Hitler! Cheer up! Think of it as the Reich Half Empty instead of the Reich Half Full. -
They are great, until you lose internet connection! We had a storm Saturday and have not had Spectrum internet since, hence no streaming anything including regular DTV Streaming programming. The wife went to the trouble of resetting everything and then getting a new modem. Nada. She even reinstated the DTV dish, but of course it’s raining so that doesn’t work either. All this great technology is great, until you lose it. VERY frustrating!

Anybody else watching "Sherlock and Daughter" on the CW?? I thought it might be geared more towards kids, but I thought I would give it a try and at least watch Episode 1, but it has really turned out to be a good show. I like the actor who plays Sherlock, David Thewlis...I remember him from Season 4 of Fargo, and the actress that plays the daughter I had never seen before, but she is very good as well. The season finale is on Wednesday, but I'm sure you could catch up "On Demand" if you want to. Also, I've been watching "Dept. Q" on Netflix.....a Scottish Police procedural, with a little bit of comedy, if you like the fact that the main character, the Detective investigating the case, is a bit of an A-hole(in a funny way). I'd give this show 5 stars if not for the unnecessary overuse of the F-word, but if you can get past that, its worth the watch. -

You're correct here, since you don't believe it was spontaneous who do you think is funding or coordinating this? It doesn't seem to help any liberal cause to have this type of situation occur. -
Expectations for Javon Solomon

And lost two, Miller and Smoot and one is suspended for 6 games. I wouldn't be shocked if AJ gets traded after the 6 week suspension is over assuming Solomon and Jackson look halfway decent and Bosa stays healthy. -
Just for comparison: In the 2024 UFL season, over 77 UFL players signed with NFL teams, representing more than 19% of the players who participated in the UFL season. The UFL had 400 players in the 2024 season. Additionally, the UFL announced that 21 UFL players are currently on NFL rosters. How bad can UFL players be if almost 20% get NFL camp invites?
-
And that tied an all-time record for the school's 135 year football history, and represents 20.5% of all active OSU players in the NFL. Best not to use statistical extremes to make your point.
-
Aha…thanks. The total roster math didn’t make any sense.

Joe Brady says Dalton "lived here this offseason"
Pete replied to sunshynman's topic in The Stadium Wall
When signing shoes and hats, did Dalton drop the pen? -
I didn't, and you changed a variable to "starting" to try to disprove my point. Even using your preferred metric, 82% of Ohio State's starting lineup is future salesman or Amazon delivery drivers. Maybe that's actually worse than 95% of the entire roster. And that would be an incorrect thing to think. 7 total Ohio State players "got a chance" in the NFL. (4 on active roster). None had their rights drafted by the UFL. Steele Chambers (what a name), is the lone member of the Ohio State 2024 class currently in the UFL. That's 5 players across two leagues.

Once the injuries start to accumulate, it’s downhill from there. There has to be other options.

I mean, I literally watched a play where Allen almost got killed immediately because Cook whiffed on his block so fast, Allen barely had time to get rid of the ball before being drilled. It was honestly impressive that Cook could miss a block that badly that it led to Allen getting hit so quickly...that's how bad it was.

1 year 12 million, with incentives up to 20. add void years to lower hit it's a fairly big if....but if he can stay on the field, Benford + Jaire is quite a tandem. Certainly among the best. The secondary is still really in need of more talent.
