Von Released, Frees Up $8.4M Cap Space
machine gun kelly replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hey I liked Miller, but he’s done. He should work on his emerging mgmt career, and wish him the best of luck. Our guy from Tampa eventually was able to do it in John Lynch. He was a helluva safety for the Bucs in the defensive heyday and worked his way into mgmt as he’s an incredibly bright and approachable guy. He was always nice to fans in Tampa as a player. I met him several times, and maybe Von can follow that path as well over the next decade. -
K, I’m sorry for your loss if you liked that show. For me, the only shows I enjoy on ESPN is NFL Matchup, and the MNF shows prior to the games. The rest to me is garbage. Greg Cosell does a heck of a job on matchup as it’s a beautiful breakdown of key games each week during the season. I don understand loss as I really enjoyed the FBI shows and two were cancelled last week along with Blue Bloods and SWAT. Some of these networks are idiots.

For those saying “this is what we voted for…”
T master replied to stevestojan's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I look at it this way, HE being Trump is doing things that are really pissing off some people and usually if you are pissing someone off there is some real change happening . We have been under the fallacy that those voted into office truly have had We the Peoples best interest at hand when in fact IMHO they didn't give a S**T about us or the future of the country because NOTHING changed ! Every year they threaten to close down the give's which truly might be for the best, and the defid=cit continually goes up and up spending doesn't change and the country is basically swirling around the bowl just waiting to go down the drain . Sure all of what the orange man is doing may not sit well but as I said if some one is pissed something is changing & I believe that what he is doing will effect the back door investments of the politicians B**CHing the most and some kind of change will come from it !! -

Taylor Rapp underrated? Espn thinks so!
BigAl2526 replied to GASabresIUFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
If he were coming out of college, I would describe him as a high floor, low ceiling player. His football intelligence and instincts allow him to be effective a good share of the time, and he is a good tackler. His athletic limitations saddle him with a fairly narrow margin for error. If an elite offensive player gets a bit of separation on Rapp, there is a high risk of a big play against the defense. If the Bills have to start him, they can get by as long as they have enough talent around him, but if they had made it a priority, it shouldn't have been too hard to find an upgrade this off season. -
Absolutely, there were serious lapses in security on J6. But the idea that these failures somehow absolve those who stormed the Capitol is backwards. Multiple investigations, including bipartisan Senate reports, confirmed that intelligence failures, poor coordination, and underestimation of the threat all played roles. But none of that justifies the violence or the attempt to obstruct the peaceful transfer of power. Neither the Speaker of the House nor the DC Mayor controls Capitol Police deployments directly. That falls under the Capitol Police Board and federal law enforcement coordination. You, nor anyone else other than those deflecting from what happened that day, has provided credible evidence Pelosi "refused" security assistance. The narrative that she was somehow responsible is a political talking point, not a conclusion drawn from evidence or the law. You’re right - "he made me do it" isn’t a legal defense and I never said it was. But Trump wasn’t being judged by that standard. The issue is whether he incited or encouraged actions through repeated lies about the election being stolen, pressuring officials, and summoning supporters to the Capitol with inflammatory rhetoric. That happened. Last, the Mueller investigation found extensive contacts between Trump’s campaign and Russian operatives, and multiple Trump aides were convicted or pleaded guilty. While it didn’t establish a criminal conspiracy, the notion that the whole thing was a hoax is simply not supported by the full report. The Senate Intelligence Committee (led by Republicans) confirmed much of the same. We’re going in circles and won’t change each other’s minds, but facts aren’t optional, and they don’t yield to feelings or anyone’s personal rewrite of the Constitution.

Auto pen should be banned if the POTUS himself in person cannot sign it and know exactly what he is signing then it shouldn't be allowed !! Plus there is the chance that someone other than the POTUS could get ahold of it like in this case and sign things without the true consent of the president and that should be a jailable offense !! This is the POTUS not some corner store accepting a delivery !!

NFL players to the Olympics in Flag Football?
sven233 replied to GASabresIUFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Here's the thing.... I am all for NFL players being allowed to play in this if they want to......as long as they are not a member of the Buffalo Bills. The last thing I need is one of our star players blowing out a knee or something weeks before the season is about to start playing flag football. This isn't Pro Bowl level flag football either. These are hyper competitive games where bad things can and probably will happen. That said, I am all for other NFL players playing because I think it would be awesome and fun to watch. I know some view it as a joke, but flag football is starting to become a huge thing in the US. It has been gaining momentum for a long time and NFL players might help it explode. It was just reported a few weeks ago by ESPN that there are already major investors like TKO that are looking to get in on the ground floor of both men's and women's professional leagues as the NFL is really behind this because they think it is a great way to introduce the game to new people. With the NFL throwing their support behind it,I think those that invest early are going to be rewarded for it. So yeah.....I hope 31 other teams have at it. I'll be rooting for you to win gold!
