Bills asking fans to wear all white for the Pats game on Sunday
jcamm1966 replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Going with this in white to save a few bucks -
That’s the first time I’ve heard that… and likely the last. No one cares about that except for patriot fans

I fixed that for you. Working remote/ isn’t going away in all aspects.. Some of the jobs will be, 💯. You’ll always be able to make money online if you are motivated and have a computer and internet. And you’ll be able to live a decent life living on the beach while making $15-20 an hour. But I do get what you’re saying. Many jobs will be replaced. Time are a changing

The NEW Bills Stadium and the NEW Las Vegas
John Gianelli replied to DeepPass's topic in The Stadium Wall
We still have people dropping a dollar in the collection basket on Sunday. -
I think the bottom line that's emerging is many NFL front offices need better plans to develop their QB's. Mahomes would have been fine if he had started his rookie year. Josh has been fine. Mayfield could read defenses pre-snap at Oklahoma and was rookie of the year in 2018. The wheels fell off because of coaching incompetency in Cleveland. Baker is the most obvious example of how FOs fail their QBs. Besides the Jets, of course. For some QBs more time on the bench is a must. But it falls on the FO knowing how best to develop their QB, and teaching their QB how best to develop themselves. Think about all the diverse off-season work Josh has put in to grow his game. Without this self-motivation, I think it takes him much longer to develop and maybe he never hits his ceiling.

Josh is so good in any interview. Just so effortlessly likable.

most people have reported anywhere from a 20-50% increase in ticket prices for 2026.

I don’t really value living near to close friends. I moved away from my close friends in recent years and I talk to them as much as I did when we lived in the same city. Family, on the other hand it a bit tougher. By the time we start traveling, I’ll be the last one of my immediate side of the family. My wife’s parents are 77 and her sister has a husband and kids. We may be moving up to live near them (outside of Portland Or) after this football season, but now they’re all talking about relocating to Bend OR. It’s gorgeous there, but it’s ridiculously expensive and we’ve decided it’s not worth our retirement to relocate there. If you get a remote job that pays as much as a non remote job in the US, you’ll be paying off you student loans much faster if you were living in SE Asia. That’s one of the reasons why so many expats are moving there in recent years. Affordability.

Field Logo & End Zone Change for Tomorrow?
YattaOkasan replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
The end zone in met life is wholesale replaced from jets to giants.. I assume mid field too. Having those on hand makes it easier. Don’t think we would get special turf for end zones for one game in the last season of the stadium. -
I wonder if it's money that was counting against the cap that now isn't. Something such as GameDay bonuses from some guys. If they weren't active, that cash goes back to the cap. So Milano missing time, Samuel not being active the first three games, Oliver missing time. If any of them have a bonus based around being active, that money goes back to the pot.
-
That's not it. Their cap numbers haven't changed IIRC.

Field Logo & End Zone Change for Tomorrow?

It’s isn’t difficult to change the artificial field graphics. They literally do it once a week at Met Life and So Fi stadiums where two teams share the field. -
The NEW Bills Stadium and the NEW Las Vegas
SoCal Deek replied to DeepPass's topic in The Stadium Wall
There’s nothing to see here. It’s the natural evolution of things. Sure, Major League sports have become more expensive as they’ve become more and more popular. This has been happening slowly over many decades. But “corporations”? I think not. It’s nothing more than a business model. Some car manufacturers target higher end customers. So do some restaurants, and clothing stores. But….there are plenty of options to attend entertainment events (sports, theater, etc) that are not super expensive. For example, I regularly attend college games of almost every sport that are actually FREE. It’s competitive and a ton of fun. -
Bad Bunny will be the Super Bowl halftime act
frostbitmic replied to Another Fan's topic in Off the Wall
I have to say that I love the outrage over a halftime performer at the Super Bowl, talk about whining, it makes me laugh. Maybe Lee Greenwood wasn't available to do a 30 minute version of proud to be an American, maybe next year. -
Game week thread - Pats at Bills SNF

It’s more confidence in the outcome. I’ve done well betting on the Bills over the years. I don’t bet a lot of money but hit at a high percentage. When you follow a team this closely you have a good sense for what they’ll look like most weeks. I haven’t bet their results this year until now (at least I don’t think). I have bet some props and over their own point totals. Today, I also have them ML, Kincaid 4+ catches, Kincaid 40+ yards and Allen 2+ pass TDs. -

Brady gave Mahomes his first regular season loss, his first post season loss and first Super Bowl loss. It will always be that way. -

Maye is improving. Still too early to crown him a Franchise QB yet, but he has shown the game is not too big for him so far. Maye will make mistakes like holding the ball too long and forgetting about the internal clock to make a decision. McDaniel's has helped and so has the OL compared to 2024. Attaboy, dont forget about MVP. I wish I had your deep pockets.
