First ballot HOF players playing now
US Egg replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall
Glory doesn’t pay for paternity suits, child support, lawyers, legal fees. Not that he can’t afford it. Though, I could see him going the Antonio Brown post career route. -

That was the Nathan Peterman debacle. As noted by others, Allen started week 2. Moving from a vet/bridge QB to a highly drafted rookie always seems to be almost solely dependent on how the vet/bridge plays. Sometimes you get Alex Smith, sometimes you get a cooked Russel Wilson or a trash Peterman. I wonder how long Flacco lasts as starter in Cleveland? He’s looking pretty washed. Still, in the last game he was getting a lot of players set properly on that offense. Not sure Dillon Gabriel is there yet with that aspect of playing QB.

Pretty much. Justin Herbert has been in more commercial since the Chargers made the playoffs last season for the same reasons that Allen is all over the media these days. I agree. Wise move. Ever notice how many tv commercial senior citizens or people suffering from chronic illnesses or accident survivors all look so good???

Marco Rubio. . . . . Secretary of State
The Frankish Reich replied to B-Man's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I really do like Rubio, and I hope Trump lets him do his job rather than interposing friend Steve Witkoff in everything important. Rubio's Charlie Kirk speech got attention - it was clear, impassioned, faith-based without being offensive to those who are not Christian. I wish he could've made that speech about 9 years ago ... -

Weren't they just complaining last month that Trump was cutting into Harvard's funds for "research." Now they don't like the research coming out of Harvard! -

Bills Defense, will it get better as season goes on
GunnerBill replied to North Buffalo's topic in The Stadium Wall
The personnel plays in. I acknowledge that. But Leslie Frazier is just a darn good football coach. He isn't flashy. He doesn't talk himself up. But he is super smart and he can coach football. -

Bills Defense, will it get better as season goes on
Alphadawg7 replied to North Buffalo's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thanks for the kind words We don't have a lot to worry about in the regular season. Our biggest threats coming in to the #1 seed were KC and Balt and we currently have a 2 game lead on KC who struggled to beat the lowly Giants and who we have beaten 3 or 4 straight times in the regular season - and now essentially a 3 game lead on Baltimore with us having the tie breaker. So with Hairston, I agree he will need some games to get up to speed, but barring any set backs, he should be more ready to contribute come playoff time when we need him more. On Groot - I honestly think people are a little too down on Groot right now. Since the bad start for 3 1/2 quarters week 1, our Defense is only giving up 15 PPG while missing Oliver, Milano, Hairston, and our PED guys. Thats 2 of our best players, our first round draft pick, and 2 key rotational players in our front 7 that will likely play relevant minutes once back from PED's. We are only 3 games in with a lot of new pieces or missing pieces on the defense. With Cole, he still has a lot to prove, but he also has had very little in game experience coming into the season. So it may take him some time to start to find his way and improve his play. At least he was better the last couple games (albeit against lower competition) than he was week 1 or even the preseason. Still long way to go though, but the hope is with more on field time and getting the guys back up front, that he can ascend more as the season goes on. And yeah, our front 7 needs to be more impactful to help out the secondary. And I do think there is reason to be optimistic, again missing 4 guys up front in Oliver, Milano, and the PED goons. And 2 of the guys playing a lot are rookies, so by default they should ascend through more experience more and Walker is already making some impressive plays out there too. Overall, I am in the optimistic camp - but more cautiously optimistic, I still want to see the week to week improvements and see them start to have dominant stretches like the Lions did in the 4th quarter against the Ravens. -

He is black. And I guess non-binary in a gender sense. From the looks of it. -

I read his now. I am not a lay judge and was not talking about lay judges. Lay judges are somewhat comparable to a US jury. I would very much like to get rid of them. However they normally have very little influence on the outcome of a case (there are exceptions at district court level but those verdicts regularly gets overturned in the court of appeal where the lay judges are fewer than the legally trained judges) A bit difficult to explain. But also very different system compared to the US.

Remembering Charlie Kirk
Orlando Buffalo replied to Big Blitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
You mean after giving people hormones their brain changed? There is no common evidence that they are any different before the hormones. But you called Kirk "psychotic" for believing that every life should be protected but this is psychotic to me, having a meeting where no one is allowed to disagree. Truly pathetic and guaranteed to lead to more murders of people can't hear an opinion they disagree with -
Ravens at Chiefs - who do you want to have their third loss?
JP51 replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Ravens, I think that the Chiefs right now have their back against the wall with the way the Chargers are playing... I think we need to root for the Chargers to lose at this point as well... so I gotta go Ravens to lose competition in the Central is weak and getting weaker with Burrow out... Steelers are pretending, Cleveland is a fire drill, Cinci without Burrow is gonna be hard pressed to split with them... I think they come out of their division 7-1 maybe 6-2 -
