Deone Walker Deflected the Ball on INT

Epenesa's definitely hit his ceiling as a player. He is who he is. -

It’s good to get the win, puts us in a very good position going forward, I wish our third down defense didn’t for the most part act as an usher to the first down marker…, GO BILLS!!! -
Walker played 47% of snaps yesterday. He's earned more playing time than Sanders when Oliver comes back.

Do The Bills Have A Passing Game Problem?
oldmanfan replied to BillsFan130's topic in The Stadium Wall
Truth hurts, right? We’re doing fine. -
The Bills are capable of winning a Super Bowl with this roster. Just like they have been each of the last 4-5 seasons. So by definition, this defense is championship caliber. But yes, I agree it seems to have the exact same problems and doesn't seem to have improved even the slightest from last year. Still too inconsistent at stopping the run. Too many missed tackles. Third downs are always a disaster, either because of a lack of pressure or the secondary giving way too much space off the line of scrimmage. Lots of fans like to blame Brandon Beane for the roster. But when you are constantly drafting/signing different players every year, and the results are exactly the same over and over... that points more towards the coaching staff.

Great post. Allen is so special, it’s unreal. Watching him play vs virtually anyone else it’s night and day. There are guys who do certain things a little bit better, but the only guy out there that’s comparable as a total player is Mahomes and at this point, I genuinely believe Allen is better. Watching the Bears vs. Vikes the other night made it so clear how lucky we are, two high 1st round QBs and combined, they aren’t half of JA. You see Stroud, who I thought was going to become THE man after his rookie campaign and he’s just “good”. Daniels is good, but so far this season hasn’t looked like he’s taking the next step. Herbert has talent, but has yet to show he is the man when it matters. Burrow is a touch better passer, but injury and lack of wheels is an issue. That’s basically it, who else is on the same planet?
-
Nah dead center alignment he just missed it.

Outside the Pantheon figures, Hawes, Moore, Walker, and Kincaid all contributed a lot, and I bet Torrence and others on the O-line did, too. Lots of no-shows, though (pending the all-22): Epenesa, Sanders, Knox, Rousseau...Benford, Rapp and Bishop weren't exactly stars, either. White's performance was a mixed bag.

There's at least one every win. Always worded vaguely the same. People don't know how to be happy.
-
Oh no, the 15th (and dropping) highest paid defensive end in football who was playing on a line cycling rookies and without its best player didn't dominate a QB throwing quick outs and screens in week 3. Dooooooooomed
-
I'm not gonna say the Bills mailed that one in. but I feel like they have a recipe for now. Run the ball with our very good Oline, while keeping Allen out of harms way. Josh took no chances last night on scrambles or throwing the ball downfield. The D is going to play that soft zone and make teams go 10-12 mistake-free plays to get down the field.

Kettle pot meet Knox will be the first Bills Legend of the Game to Lead the Charge while still an active player. They're heading in that direction for sure. Yep, big Matthew Butler. I didn't think it was possible for Hoss to be done like that. That's what an extra 60 pounds will do for you... still impressive. Look how Hawes positions himself in the soft spot... staying ahead of the pursuit while not running into the coverage. Great feel for the game.

Those NE teams had awesome defenses. Again, Brady routinely had top 5 defenses. We have a defense that is ass. Score points. This opponent was on the verge of winning with fewer than three minutes left.

That was a championship level play by Bernard

Once we have Hairston back - we can be more matchup driven and Tre will shine more as a result. Hill and Waddle are the fastest tandem in the NFL and that's not White's game, it's Hairston's game. -
It took a while, but Tua Turnthaballova finally showed up!!
Niagara Dude replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
"have you ever seen a QB throw more passes behind the line of scrimmage than Tua did tonight" yes Josh Allen and that is why this game was even a game because Brady continues to call games like he has Trent Edwards as his starting QB and not a QB who most likely has the strongest arm ever -
It’s a good thing we won the Super Bowl this week to cover up for it. I guess we’ll have to find out if he can make an impact next year or something, no games left to play! Oh wait, or is that what you and @twoandfourteenthink we “homers” think 😉 Idk, my simple ass is all confused.

Do The Bills Have A Passing Game Problem?
Jalan81 replied to BillsFan130's topic in The Stadium Wall
Except when stressed under pressure to score against a good defense in the playoffs we can’t even get a yard because they don’t respect our passing game. -
The Dolphins were on the verge of mailing it in? Did anyone tell them that? They seemed fired up and ready to play even before the game started. It was week 3. They were never "mailing it in". If anything we saw a desperate team looking to do anything for a win. You know, a win. The only thing that matters. Don't speak on what others will put up with. No one to my knowledge elected you as our representative. I don't care if Josh throws it 60 times or they run it 60 times. I'll take the win and enjoy it

no. I wanted one. Pressure yes sacked zilcho -
They gave up 21 points.

Tua was throwing up a lot of blind throws. His luck must have run out.
-
I know! 3 solo tackles on the year! 0 TFL. 0.5 sacks. And it only cost us $80M!!! Most teams would’ve given $120M for play like that

Hard to complain when your team is undefeated and scoring 30+ in every game (so far). But the passing game is definitely something to keep an eye on. In the NFL, it's really easy to ignore the small problems when your playing against inferior teams and still finding ways to win games. It's not until you play a better opponent and suddenly those small problems become a major issue. It almost seems like they came out of nowhere. But in reality, there were warning signs all along the way. The Bills offense has looked extremely timid and conservative in the first three games. Everything is dink/dunk and running game. The question is whether that's been mostly by design? Or because our WRs are really struggling to get open downfield? Or maybe a mix? I never thought I would see Josh Allen throwing short of the marker on 3rd Down. But he's already done it more than once already this season, leading to drive stalls and punts. We've also had a couple handoffs on 3rd and medium. I don't think we've tried taking even one downfield shot yet. We looked past it against the Ravens, because the offense opened up way more in the second-half and they made the big come-back. We looked past it against the Jets, because it was a blow-out and they didn't need to do anything else. But then last night, our offense was continually unable to put the nail in the coffin. And if not for the roughing penalty, they were in the process of punting the ball back to the Dolphins... tied in the middle of the 4th Quarter.

You should try watching the Bills games! I know you tuned in this week to watch your Dolphins play, but he’s out there every week for the Bills!
