I have no idea, nor does anyone else, to know if you are right or wrong about how Rossueau is coached. But how's that working out for the Bills? Years and years of this. How's it working out? It's so ridiculously frustrating. It's the same thing, year after year, and it doesn't work in the biggest of games. They need some players that make splash plays. It's pretty damn glorious when Oliver does it from time to time. But damn man, why pay a guy a ton of money to be an edge setter first and foremost. That makes no sense. Unless it's against Lamar. The only thing that baffles me is that McDermott seems to know how to shut down Lamar in the postseason. Maybe it's this disciplined style of play that you speak of that contains Lamar and makes hime throw more. But when you think about it, who doesn't shut down Lamar in the playoffs. But again, my hats off to McD in the postseason against the Ravens. His style of defense seems to be the right thing to slow them down for some reason.

They also played a game that was far simpler and had to know far less than in today's NFL. The game is complex in ways that didn't even exist back then let alone having to know all of the things they need to know now. Even looking at playbooks from 20 years ago compared to today's playbooks makes them look like learning 2nd grade math by comparison to calculus.

And this is what I was discussing yesterday but in regards to Allen's downfield passing ability. I don't know what it is, but it's not very good. It's really never been great, despite the massive arm, but we're either missing the horses, or the timing is never there. I know the short passing & run game was working, but we SHOULD be able to open up the passing game beyond that. Being so successful running the ball & killing people underneath eventually makes defenses have to play up to stop that, so we need to be able to take advantage of the opportunities that opens up. It's not going to ruin us for now, but I hope they work things out in practice & make those plays a more successful part of their arsenal. If they do, they'll be able to put away teams a lot earlier.

I’ll go one further on your point regarding their drafting. They tend to draft very closely with the consensus of the major mock drafters. If there’s a player who has “slipped” versus his draft projections, the Ravens tend to draft him. Then when that happens, the narrative is that Baltimore made a great pick because the people pushing that narrative were the same people who had projected him to go earlier.

At this point I doubt he is a leftist, marines who are good at hunting normally aren't leftists but I don't understand why a "conservative" attacks Mormons. I am assuming it was more personal than what we know but doubt we will find out anymore specifics.

The Patriots are gonna fight hard to win this. Bills can't go to sleep, and the defense really needs to step up. Brady really needs to call some better plays Imo.
