I was driving home from the game and missed the second half of this one. I saw the replay of Lamar's "injury" as well as what happened as he went to the sideline. Did Lamar really quit on his team? From my vantage point, nothing happened to him, the trainers barely talked to him, and he just sat there. That can't be what happened, can it? And didn't he do something like that once a few years ago too?

I more than appreciate the fact that we've taken so many swings at finding a pass rusher. Its not for a lack of trying. The problem is Beane and his scouts are just not doing a good enough job in evaluating all these Dlineman. I mean if Solomon, Sanders, Jackson flame out, I'd just say screw it and sign 1 year FA rentals like Floyd/ Bosa every year. We can't count on BB ever finding a game-wrecker.

Blocking isnt high on the a long snappers list of duties. They're considered Defenseless Players while their "head is down, and he is in a vulnerable, unprotected state after the snap". If opposing players are coming directly through him, he needs to learn how to sell that penalty. If they are shooting the gaps on either side of him, that's on the Guards. As long as his snaps are on target, he's good.
