I think the rationale is that IF you hold them w/ a onside kick, you get the ball near your goal line. If you kickoff normal & hold them, you get the ball expected around the 30. Not saying I agree w/ the math, but that 20 yards or so is worth several seconds so it's worth sacrificing the small chance of a recovery.

Yeah, with a game in the bank I’d expect a much better pass protection plan this time around. Also, maybe not having two injured Ts on islands against those DEs might be nice.

Never saw Tarkenton or Riggins play but I imagine this is right. He was completely undeniable today. When he is on there is nothing like him in the NFL not now, not ever.

Apparently the Colts weren't watching the NBA playoffs last year. When you try and play through leg injuries and put tons of stress on other parts of your lower body the greater the likelihood that Achillies goes pop. Tyrese Haliburton and Daniel Jones can now watch Pacer and Colts games together on the couch.
