Sean Payton's a good offense mind so I doubt he ever sees the field unless there's cluster injuries at the position.

Week 14 games with AFC playoff implications
Dick_Cheney replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
Disagree. I don't think KC will leapfrog us in the seeding, and I want as many teams as possible in the playoffs as can beat New England, even if that means we somehow have to play KC again. I would rather end up losing to KC again rather than New England even get to the championship game. Of course I want us to win it all, but just saying. -
When you find yourself uttering that sentence unsarcastically........just know it means you are talking about a dumb player. In Elijah Moore's last game as a Buffalo Bill........two passes intended for him resulted in interceptions. That's who he is. I hope Denver figures it out because the way you use him is you throw it where he's supposed to be and then the other team catches it because even they know that's where he was supposed to be.

Say the Bills get the #6 seed who would you want to win the AFCS since it's a good bet the winner of that division will be the #3 seed. Playing at Houston has been a house of horrors for the Bills. I don't like the Bills run defense against JT so I will take my chances with the Bills playing the Jaguars if they end up in the #3 vs #6 matchup. It looks like NE and DEN will fight it out for the #1 and #2 seeds.

Game week thread - Bengals at Bills (flexed to 1pm ET)

Steelers - Ravens is gonna be a woofer. I’d rather see Jags - Colts, which I may be forced to do if the Bills crap the bed. -

Oh yes he will have bad games, every QB has that one or two games where it’s just tough.. I think he will be fine.. he has great poise and he played well last year on a crap team unable to win. i disagree this O is Drake Maye and his accuracy and ability deliver an amazing deep ball.. an average QB with no real run game wins maybe 7 games so far.. still an improvement but his ability with Macdaniels as OC brought this O from pure garbage to I think a top 10 O. Come playoffs I don’t know what will happen, but as long as he plays like he can the games should be close and fun.. -
….did you make it in time???

I think he definitely has superstar potential as he’s an accurate thrower to all 3 levels with good arm strength, size, and mobility. I don’t think he’s had a real superstar performance (yet) though. Never thrown for 300 yards or had more than 3 total TDs and has never put the team on his back in a close win. Best team he’s beat by far is the Bills in week 5 in a game where he had zero TDs and they still needed a game winning FG despite the Bills turning it over 3 times. I think we’ll learn a lot about if he has that “it” factor in the playoffs this year and against a first place schedule next year. -
Its OK for the Bills to be a run-first team

James Cook was paid last because he was trying to be paid as much as superstars Derrick Henry and Jonathan Taylor. That's top 3-4 money for the position. But Cook hadn't produced anywhere near their level. Particularly not with regard to workload. Prior to this season Cook was part-timer compared to those guys. The other Bills players extended were offered deals that were nowhere near the top of their respective positions. They accepted them. I'm plenty critical of Beane for his contract/pro personnel work but how is getting James Cook to prepare all offseason like he was going to have to max out his production in 2025 to get paid perceived as a bad thing? What it did was increase the likelihood of getting at least one season where Cook was in peak condition physically and focused mentally. Just like extending Ed Oliver in summer got that one season out of him where he actually played close to his potential. Dangling the carrot until the hay is in the barn is good business. -
Us 50’s and ‘60’s kiddies are all over in here and devolving threads to yesteryears. Why, I remember when, wait, no that was last week, anyways, oops gotta pee, be back in a minute…..

Week 14 games with AFC playoff implications

This is why I’m not worried about making the playoffs. Teams will knock each other out i just hope we don’t make the 5 seed because I don’t want Baltimore round 1 -
Yep, you totally cornered the market on that prediction.....................................................................................................................rolls eyes

Agree on all counts. If you are looking to fire McD at the end of the year, the options are: 1) Promote Brady 2) Bring a coach back from retirement (Gruden, Arians, etc.). I find this VERY unlikely, but potential. You also could risk someone like Rivera being hired by Pegula 3) Promote another team's OC/DC. Unfortunately, not many options here. Do you try to grab ANOTHER DC like Sean to come over? Flores? IDK. Seems like a waste as Sean is already the defensive minded HC. Maybe you grab an OC, but there isn't much out there. If you go the Shanahan tree, it may provide options, but how long is that well going to be good for? My opinion, you either keep Sean for another year, or promote Brady. I dont see any other reasonable risk free options in the market.

Sir my Lincoln Hawkeyes (moved the Cards) in Madden 2004 had a ten year dynasty which we made the Superbowl 8 of 10 years and won 5. Who are you to question my knowledge!!! -
I wouldn't offer anyone in their 30's not named Josh Allen more than a one year deal. If any of them get a better offer, good on them. I voted to clean house

Who do we want, who do we need as our next HC and, or GM?
