  1. Past hour
  2. The fact that he’s not on the talk of a hot seat like some other first year coaches is maddening. I know he has a Super Bowl on his resume but he hand picked Geno, traded a relatively high pick for him and it’s not even averagely reasonable play they’ve received.
  3. Back to the allegations that Coleman doesn't give full effort on some plays... as I've said before, if you watch the All-22 even occasionally you'll see plenty of WRs NOT running full speed and you'll see lots of pass rushers quickly throttle down when they calculate that the pursuit probably isn't worth it... kind of like a lion will know early on whether it's worth continuing to chase the zebra. Stevie Johnson was asked about Coleman's effort last week and said "And people talking about effort, they show one play that I saw on effort. And I mean, you got to really know the game is a must outside release, you know, backside of the play, not involved. Everybody knows that. And, you know, they eyed that one play on Keon. Now, I'm not here to defend like that, but I'm here to be equal with everybody. You know what I'm saying? And, you know, just calling that part out, you know, that wasn't his play to be running hard on. You know, you got to bypass that." Now I understand McDermott didn't exactly come to the defense of Coleman but remember this was in the context of McDermott feeling tons of heat after the loss to Miami and he may have found it convenient to be able to throw some different meat to the media corps for them to chew on.
  4. I think tomorrow’s injury report is actually more telling for a Thursday game. If I were a coach, I would limit exposure for guys with any nicks during the short week. The install meetings are much more important than the actual practices.
  5. Plus we have the H2H on Balt right now if it were to come down to it for a wild card spot, which we cannot say the same about Pitt yet.
  6. Hard to get top notch WRs if you don't draft any. Compare to GB since 2021. Buffalo - top 3 round WR picks - 1 - 2nd rd pick Coleman (2024); next pick Shakir in the 5th (2022) Green Bay - top 3 round WR picks - 5 2025 - Golden 1st rd and Sav Williams 3rd rd 2023 - Reed 2nd rd (plus Wicks in the 5th rd) 2022 - Watson 2nd rd (plus Doubs in the 4th) 2021 - Rodgers 3rd rd
  7. That’s a good point. Would much rather play in Pittsburgh for our 4 vs 5 matchup than in Baltimore
  8. Pickens has HoF talent and a 10 cent head
  9. Steelers over Bears Someone has to win that division. Much rather PIT than BAL, especially if we can’t catch NE
  10. Rooting interests… sigh. It sure is frustrating to think that the only thing separating us from #1 in the conference and #5 in the conference are losses to two teams with losing records.
  11. Beck gave you over 10 examples tho But you responded with sarcasm
  12. Trump, Donald. As for Ares, I suppose it’s possible that happened. I see he’s got some significant accolades but geesh, from a creative perspective, looks like he sorta mailed this one in. Was there only one format Obama approved of? Looks like Ares took the HOPE poster, changed the solemn look and gave him a smile and a Cuban general’s tunic.
  13. Looked to me like he was humping the ground
  14. I will never root for the Chiefs, even in pursuit of seeding. i will root for them to lose every game and be mathematically eliminated first.
  15. Exactly! Just keep him on his rookie deal and hopefully he matures and becomes Tee Higgins lite. It is horrible how the only WR Beane drafted in the first 2 days of the draft (rounds 1-3) in his 8 years as GM looks to be a bust. Maybe take a few more shots there bud.
  16. It’s funny how just two months ago the secondary was a major issue now I’m seeing a bright future with him, Hancock, benford and mad max for the next 3-4 years
  17. Ohh well. Buffalo is banged up. No one remembers this after the season. It's Ws or Ls. That's it. Go win.
  18. "...But with a will to work hard and a library card..."
  19. This week's episode after the win against the Bucs. This one lost me. Need a translation (or more alcohol).
  20. Yeah dude can move for sure... Although this might be one of the worst scouting reports I've seen in a while... "Overview Johnson is slightly undersized as an every-down back and might not have the skill-set to be a third-down option. He is a natural runner who consistently finds enough chunk runs to post impressive yards-per-carry totals, but his inability to run with power or help on third downs could limit his chances of sticking with a team." Also further down in the weakness section it says he isn't very good at blitz pickup 🤣🤣 Allen said he is the best 3rd down back in the NFL last year and he looked like it...also he definitely is very good at pass pro.
  21. Chiefs Colts is intriguing. On the one hand, this will be a VERY desperate Chiefs team facing a losing record for the first time in a really long time. On the other hand you have a Colts team that needs to prove they can beat talented teams. It should be a battle. I'm rooting for the Colts here. We need to take care of our own business of getting the division lead before I worry about seeding. Chiefs losing pushes us closer to a wild card spot if we can't catch up Jets/Ravens could be interesting. Our old buddy Tyrod is starting for the Jets. Obviously, we should be Jet fans this weekend. We should be wearing our orange and black stripes as well as we NEED Flacco to ball out and bet the Pats. Unfortunately, as slim as the odds were...they got slimmer with both Hendrickson ruled out and Chase scheduled for a one game suspension. Maye should put up some big numbers on that Bengal defense. Start ALL New England players in fantasy. I'm actually hoping the Steelers beat the Bears. For the sole reason being, if they keep winning Baltimore can't pull ahead in the division.
  22. No one really says that about Big Ben and the Steelers and they basically only made Super Bowls by dodging NE.
  23. Meh, Carroll was running show in the old days. They did have like nearly a decade of bad personnel decisions after that Super Bowl.
