Has Josh Allen put himself back in the race for MVP this year??
Process replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
I am going to take back my comment that Allen has "no chance" as a wildcard. But there are two things that MUST happen for him to have a chance. Rams have to lose their division. If they win on Thursday the MVP race is officially over. Done. Bills have to win out. If they don't, that means he either lost to the Browns/Jets, or lost to Phi at home in a Nationally televised game. If those two things happen he wins IMO. But it's a longshot. -
Game week thread - Bills at Browns
Kelly to Allen replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
If buffalo has a big lead I honestly think Allen would probably give it to him -
The problem is that we don't control our own destiny to get the #2 seed. We need help. Hope the Dolphins and Ravens come to the party

Yep. Happened to Tre against Cincy last week.

Dawson Knox - franchise record for TD receptions by a TE
JP51 replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall
I compare him in a strange way to Mack Hollins... this guy, as well as Mack, are such positive influences in that room... total team guys... limited a smidgen on the talent side but still productive and seems to make big plays in the clutch... with Knox, like Hollins you have to consider their overall impact to the team when looking at their production... those are just two guys I want on my side... (never should ditched Hollins) -
would have been ruled an INT I bet

In 2001, NE had the 5th ranked Defense in points allowed. Brady threw 18 TDs and 12 INTs for 2843 yards in 2003, NE had the #1 Defense and Brady threw 23 TDs and 12 INTs for 3600 yards. He was a 3rd or 4th string QB who got his chance to prove teams wrong in the draft, becoming likely the GOAT QB. But claiming that those first 2 SBs were a product of Brady's greatness makes little sense. It's akin to saying Bill Walsh was a creation of Joe Montana, having a losing record without him. Or that George Seifert was the talent behind Steve Young, as Young never had a winning season without Seifert as his coach--equally as dumb. Are you still having fun?

At #2 hosting the Texans. The Bills have the best homefield advantage in football. I will take the Bills playing at home in the playoffs 24-7-365. I don't care who the opponent is.

on a victory Monday the bolded made me smile. Because it just shows how demoralizing they felt after the game. what does Josh Allen say "never too high never too low" As a fans I aspire to that mindset. And albeit a very important game it wasn't a playoffs game so The fact I feel so good today doesn't diminish what is left to be done this year. Win in the post season. Having Josh Allen as our QB it's not out of reach GO BILLS

Back to the ball, early obvious contact. Easy one

Josh Allen's comments after the game seem like, if you want to take it this way, are a direct shot to that old wr who used to play here without actually mentioning him in any way. “I think it’s the love each man in that locker room has for each other,” Allen said, via a transcript from the Patriots. “The willingness to put their body on the line in order to not let their teammates down. That driving force. It’s the relationships in that room. And whether we are playing really good, whether we’re playing really bad, this team is going to stick together and continue to fight and continue to find ways to win football games. I think we saw that tonight.”

Yeah, I like that. When it’s kind of a cheap offensive ploy but still interference maybe make it a 15 yard penalty. But if it’s essentially the DB intentionally making contact and tackling then it’s a spot like regular pass interference.

I find it incredibly fulfilling to see them spend all week trolling and then get their comeuppance. I loved watching the board unite against them as well. But the best part was all the influencers dancing on our grave at half time. Reminded me of when they won the wind game and crowned McCorkle. Amazing.
