I don’t think Keon will ever be elite (could be wrong on that) but a guy of his height and hands/catching ability should be with speed and i’m not sure that part of his game will ever improve. But I think he could be a consistent 1000 yard receiver…he’ll just never set the world on fire with 2000

Purdy and 49’ers extension. 5 years 265 million
Doc Brown replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
I get it but I’ve seen enough off script plays from him where I think he’s a little bit more than just a good system quarterback. I’d take him above Tua, Love, or Lawrence if forced to pick. He has a high floor and can win with him at that salary if you consistently nail the draft. -
I argued well before the draft, as a UGA fan, that McConkey is not just a slot receiver, and had lined up on the outside a lot for the Dawgs. Don't give a damn that folks keep saying he's a slot. For certain, he's an NFL receiver, and maybe Coleman becomes one, too, but I don' think there's a chance Ladd is going to wash out, and there is a chance Coleman does. Obviously, I hope he makes a leap, and becomes great.

I'm married but unless we're gonna finish it off the next day - which is rare - we wrap and freeze.

Local boy Iafallo on Winnipeg played in our league when I coached in the early 2000’s. I said then that kid’s going places.

Nicely done lol

It’s disgusting. Used to have family friendly prices back in the day (for anything sports/entertainment) but it’s way out of bounds now.

Purdy and 49’ers extension. 5 years 265 million
RoscoeParrish replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
He’s actually horrible. His career average is 150 passing yards per game. He’s not on Purdy or Geno or Cousins or Darnold’s level, respectfully. He can’t run an offense or read a defense or play QB at the NFL level. Like I said, your take makes sense if you pick “league average guy making league average money.” Your take does not make sense for a dude who can’t play the position. You may as well say “you are better off paying Peterman $20M.” It’s just wrong. -
Keon Coleman success by route - Not pretty
Goin Breakdown replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
I get it and you're right. I'm also seeing stats stacked for both running the same routs. I'm good with who we got. I have hope for him to take a two. We'll see tho. -
I dont get it... If he were healthy for 17 games he would have had over 700 yards. Is that really that bad for a 2nd round pick in his rookie year?

The wife won’t order steak when we go out because she says we make it better at home I can't justify the exorbitant price of steak when we go out when I can make something I like just as much at home for a fraction of the cost I miss a good prime rib My father attempted to cook prime rib at home and failed once or twice so I never attempted. This is a steak that I will order out.

Didn’t know this. Do you remember why?

Purdy and 49’ers extension. 5 years 265 million
L Ron Burgundy replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's not just the yearly cap, it's the 5 year term. Locking in to a guy whose at best above average is crazy to me. I get a 2 year deal for high money but more is insane to me. I am blown away that they did this. -
You got the first part right. how do you rationalize this stuff…… Barrett pushed Sauer further, responding that she wasn’t referring to circumstances such as when the Second Circuit (one of the 13 federal appellate circuits) “has a case from 1955 and you think it’s time for it to be challenged.” “That’s not what I’m talking about,” Barrett continued. “I’m talking about, this week, the Second Circuit holds that the executive order is unconstitutional, and then what do you do the next day or the next week?” Sauer responded again that “generally,” the administration would follow that order. “So you’re still saying ‘generally’? And you still think that it’s generally the policy — long-standing policy — of the federal government to take that approach?” Barrett pressed. “That is my understanding,” Sauer confirmed. Here’s what that means in plain English: The Trump administration, through its top lawyer, is telling the Supreme Court that it doesn’t believe it has to comply with lower court orders in all circumstances. And contrary to Sauer’s assertion, that finds no support in long-standing DOJ policy, much less department norms. It’s one thing to hear political actors — whether that’s the White House press secretary or even Vice President JD Vance — assert that the administration should not be bound by federal court orders it considers lawless. But it’s another thing entirely to hear the administration’s top appeals lawyer say as much in front of the Supreme Court of the United States. Using signal for top secret military operations? That’s a qualified SoD? I don’t mind a right wing guy. But Trump wants unqualified loyalists who're scared to stand up to him. I can’t stand Maddow. Or Fauci or the rest of those clowns I fully agree Fauci should be in jail. He’s still lying today.

Josh Allen does everything for this franchise, lol. He has single-handedly turned the franchise into a relevant team and drove ticket prices from $50 to $500 a seat. He’s a unicorn.
