Where’s the juice at the position of Wide Receiver?
brianthomas replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would've rather paid DK that money than Greg Rousseau. Even tho i think we still need help on the Dline, Rousseau just doesnt make an impact to me. DK Metcalf definitely would -
NOW is Bobby Babich's seat hot?

??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Am I missing something with this kind of post, and similar posts, that make almost 0 sense? Maybe I had unknowingly fallen asleep for a looooooong time? What do you mean?? Can someone help me out here, provide some answers? It seems to imply that Sean McDermott has jettisoned, fired, a slew of defensive coordinators in his NINE YEARS as the Bills' head coach. But isn't Babbich only his second defensive coordinator in those NINE years, after Frasier?? And isn't that on the very low side for coaches with similar nine year tenures? We are mostly adults on here, I assume, so isn't at least a tiny bit of logic, and some base in reality, something that should be guiding all of us? -

I still fantasize about a world where we took Justin Jefferson over Diggs. -

I was referencing this ideology being taught in schools. It's a small movement now, we just don't want it to grow. And yes, Netflix is being shown at schools. My kid has had that every year in school. I'm in a good school district so it's just kids appropriate shows.

Cooper was second on the team in YPR last year at 14.9. Scantling left Bills and he averaged over 22 YPR with the Saints but isn't doing anything with the 49ers right now. Josh missed him wide open deep twice last year before he was let go. Have to wonder how much of it is Brady unable to scheme guys open deepen and how much of it is them just wanting to have a conservative short passing game. Honestly at this point I really don't care about the deep WR shots. All I want to see from the offense is Kincaid targeted more. He is a matchup nightmare. He should be getting 10 targets a game like an elite TE. WNY is where TE's come to die. Not a single ProBowl TE since the AFL-NFL merger! Has to be the worst position group in NFL history for a franchise. Now we have one with elite skills and still can't figure out how to use him. -

This is the move to me, over Olave, if both are options. Bears SHOULD deal him, as theyre loaded at WR and desperately are going to need all the picks they can to build this offseason.... possibly (slim, but possible) even looking to move on from Caleb Williams since Ben "Difficult Personality" Johnson, isn't tied to him. Big problem with that is theyre technically only 1game back in division.... everyone and their mother knows they'll be a turd at bottom of trash can by end of season, but they might not know... or at least cant admit. Lions, packers, Vikings is a tough division and Bears need to show me the baby before I ever take them seriously -

I'm not aware of anyone watching Netflix in school. If the kids are, well, the parents should find out. If they don't, they probably don't care.

No they weren’t, they were talking about DeJean changing his position from quarterback, no one ever mentioned Seahorn. I used Burrow as an example, who cares what he wears and why would anyone “hate on” him?

As much as were teasing about Coleman dude has a career YAC/R 5.3 (being held down by his performance this year) and last game got Yiadom benched (had played poorly before but at least got the start). -

Good topic. I mean, it's not like the Bills offense has scored 30 plus points in each of their first 4 games this year. Oh wait... -

Defense remains the big issue. You should win 95 percent of your games when you put up thirty plus points per game. -

Knox has shown to have a low ceiling and a high floor. I thought Williams would be the same with a little higher ceiling then Knox. Based off of what I have seen this year, his ceiling and his floor seem to lowering. If he is going to continue playing like he did last Sunday trying to corral Spencer Ratler, he should not be active going forward. If Daquan Jones is improved this year, why are we last in the league against the run? I am not saying this tongue in cheek. I seriously would like some answers as to why we can not consistently stop the run. Are our guys too small? Are they too slow? Do they just pretty much suck against the run other than Walker? -
Phillips is, unfortunately, made of glass these days.

One note, if Vrabel were that good a head coach, he would still be working in his last job as HC in Tennessee. NVM that his GM screwed him by shipping out WR AJ Brown to the Eggels...although one skill player loss shouldn't make or break a team. After going 11-5 in 2020, 12-5 in 2021. His team went into the toilet 7-10, 6-11, in the next two seasons. His playoff teams bowed out after losing their first game. Vrable did have a future HC in Arthur Smith as his OC back then, as he has Josh McDaniels he has as his OC now. His DC has been a defensive line coach for many years in Tennessee before becoming the line coach/run game coordinator last season for the Lions. The Patsies are 2-2, having lost to the Raiders, Steelers while beating the Dolphins, Panthers. The Patriots have both offensive and defensive numbers, both 10th in points allowed, scored. 14th in yards, 16th in yards allowed. Buffalo is #2 overall on offense. 17th in points allowed, 11th in yards allowed. Plus, the Bills are getting some injured players back on defense and should improve on defense. Odds are Bills -7.5. And the game is in Buffalo in front of screaming Bills fans. I think they cover the spread in this one.
