  1. Past hour
  2. They should bring in Lou Lamoriello as President. He knows the league as far as hiring GM's and HCs. He did get the Isles turned around from the Garth Snow days. He hired Barry Trotz and the team went to back-to-back ECF's. They just got beat by a better Lightning team. I don't think he should be the GM anymore and handle the day-to-day duties but as President he can bring in the right people for the FO. He certainly knows more about hockey than Terry. Lou is a hockey man. Terry thinks he is a hockey man. Big difference.
  3. I mean, if you Google it you can find out a lot. The reasons you see there will be the same people here would give Long story short, he's a huge head case with some disconcerting tendencies towards teammates.
  4. Really just Houston. We can’t count games before Josh. They lost in OT vs. Houston and everything had to go against them (it did). It’s really the KC games home and away (plus the home Cincy game). Those are the only playoff losses that matter.
  5. Great question. It is so 50/50 for me. #1 seed Pros Cons -One less game to play -Having to face either Mahomes/Chiefs or Jackson/Baltimore -home field advantage -Possibly having to face both KC and Balt back-to-back (tough to win two of those types of games in a row, -To be the best you want to beat the best and if you do, how much do you have left in the tank to beat the NFC's best team---granted 2 week layoff for SB. #5 seed Pros Cons -Not playing Mahomes, Jackson, or Henry -Have to win 3 games instead of 2 -Weaker competition (QB play, experience) -May have to play 2 or 3 of those games on the road -Refs might favor Bills in this scenario (no KC/Balt) It seems insane not to choose the #1 seed. But, gun to my head, I think the #5 seed might actually be the easier path. Yes, winning 2 or 3 games on the road is really hard, but not as hard as beating say Baltimore and KC back-to-back at home. And with the way those teams are this year (KC and Balt), sure, there is a chance that one or both of them get knocked out before they get to us (but then again, are we really going to count KC out when it comes to the playoffs?---playoff Chiefs vs. Indy, Denver, Pitt, LAC, Pats...yeah I'm not counting on them losing). Conversely, as it stands now, the playoffs would look like this: 1 Colts, 2 Broncos, 3 Pats, 4 Pitt, 5 Buf, 6 LAC, 7 Jax. If the favored teams win WC games, and we beat the Colts (in INDY), our path would be: @Pitt, @Indy, @Denver. But, let's say the Chargers beat the Pats in the WC round (doable), then we are: @Pitt, @Denver, and either @Indy, or Home vs LAC (Chargers could beat the Colts) IF, big if, the Chargers beat Pats, and Jax beats Denver, then our road is @Pitt, Home vs. LAC, and either @Indy or Home vs. Jax (unlikely Jax beats Colts). If the odds are the same either way on which teams we may or may not face (#1 seed vs. #5 seed), then here is another question. Pitt should be a fairly easy win if we have to face them, so, worst case scenario for each seed---which is the harder road? Balt at home KC at home or @Denver @Indy Road games are tougher and Taylor is a monster, but Daniel Jones vs. Mahomes? or Nix/Jones vs. Jackson/Mahomes. Yeah, give me the #5 seed.
  6. No offense, but all math and statistics say other wise, and if you polled every GM and HC in the NFL they would agree that the 1 seed in its current format is a SUBSTANTIAL advantage and its why every single teams primary goal is to win that if they are in contention for it. You will never (and never have) see a team intentionally give up a seed with a bye in it because they think it gives them an "easier" path in the playoffs. The mere idea of forcing a 3rd playoff game, guaranteeing 2 are on the road, over a bye and 2 home games is pretty silly TBH.
  7. That would be perfect because Big Game Gabe is a thing. As long as he can get ready for the playoffs, I'll take it. And hopefully we get to hear Nantz at least one more time "It is DAAAA-VISSSSSS!!"
  8. I just want to say, I love you guys and the best thing about this message board, is that we can have disagreements and a variety of opinions, but at the end of the day, we all love our Bills and this is such a great community of posters here (can anyone say run on sentence??). By far the most informative NFL message board AND the most respectful that I've ever come across. Glad to be a part of something special here and look forward to one day celebrating a Super Bowl victory right here with all each and every one of you. That said, SQUISH THE FISH!!!!!
  9. Unfortunately there's no way he will take the UB offer I don't think my NIL deal of 6 pack of webers mustard with a family pack of sahlens will close the deal Budget is tight
  10. I don’t think knRuff is the issue. I feel he is doing the best with the hand he has been dealt. We need a GM and coach combo like we have at the Bills. Change the losing “culture”.
  11. Because the #1 seed gives the Bills homefield throughout the playoffs. They won't have to play on WC weekend and having that extra week off allows them to get as healthy as possible. Plus, McDermott has never won a road playoff game mostly at KC, but losses at HOU and JAC as well.
  12. Bills better bring their umbrellas on Sunday. It will be around 90 degrees gametime and much hotter where the BIlls will be on the sunny side of the stadium.
  13. Cheers, Bill! Have a great evening!
  14. Shakira from Allen on the last play of the game from the 1 yd line. 39-38 Bills.
  15. I think it's a Brady issue. He's so committed to the short passing game. And the reads in his offense go from short to long. I also think being so anti risk and anti turnover has rewired Allen's train of thought too. Exactly this. Question. When was the last time Brandon Beane drafter a WR with too end speed? Even a late dart throw? Now what WRs has he taken? Coleman, Shorter, Shavers....heck he was Assistant GM in Carolina when they had Benjamin and Funchess. You say trust and I agree, but trust comes through reps. Seems year after year we sign a few random WRs to 1 year deals. They leave and we restock with new. Allen was at his best as a passer when he had a few guys he was familiar with to throw to. Diggs, Davis. Even wanted Brown and Beasley brought back one year because he was familiar with and trusted them. They need to commit to guys at the position and not have a revolving door. Timing and trust matter.
  16. Sign Torrance and McGovern and either Anderson or day two pick to replace Edward’s.
  17. It’s just a hypothetical, not a matter of being worried about perception. Ultimately, a Championship is a Championship and I’ll take it no matter how we get it, outside of cheating of course I mean we’re not the Pats. This is just a preference for all of us on how we would like to see things play out, not how they have to play out. I think the vast majority of us don’t really care how it happens, we just want that trophy to come to our house, preferably now or at least some time in our lifetime.
  18. Screw Disney. I’ll still go see the Bills play in Orlando.
  19. Fascinating dialogue between Senator Kennedy (R) and Bondi the piece of crap.
  20. I can't believe anyone would pick against an option without KC and BAL. If the Chiefs and Ravens are in I guarantee one them makes it to the AFC Championship and there's no path to avoiding them.
  21. Several young players are looking good. PFF gave its highest 2 grades to Kincaid and Hairston. The future looks bright.
  22. Hopefully we get Palmer back to 100% again in the next week or two and if we get a healthy and inspired Gabe back in time for a playoff push/run, that would be great.
  23. I do have this shirt (in grey):
