I think Rasul would be doing the Bills a favor if he suited up 17 games for the Fins next year. he allowed a 122 passer rating last year when targeted. Poyer with the Dolphins only allowed 111, for comparison sake.

Loved that game!

Agreed but I'm not going to hold my breath that he's anywhere close to his pre injury self. Crazy how two years ago at this time we were wondering if Benford could handle the job opposite Tre White. The ACL and then the Achilles within two years is just brutal.
-
Yes. Total no-brainer as I'm concerned. Experience starts, youth works its way into more snaps as the season progresses. He does it that way all the time. The objective for McDermott's players is to execute the play as called 100% of the time - that means go in the right direction, go to the right place, react to what the offense is doing in the right way. If White does that 100% of the time and Hairston is at 95%, White will play even if on Hairston's 95% he's a half-step faster. McDermott does it that way he abhors having 5% of plays where a player has left a hole in what is truly a team defense. The result is that the younger players sit until they can execute more or less flawlessly. Bishop sat, Bernard sat. It wasn't so true in the earlier years, because no one knew the defense as well as McDermott wanted, so Edmunds and Milano played a lot, even though they were making mistakes. Now, it's different. The only way Hairston starts in September is if (1) he's a really quick learner or (2) White has nothing left and Hairston has learned at least enough to make him better than Jackson and Lewis.

Virgil, isn’t that the price spread over 20 years? So that’s $50 per year, or $5 per home game. By 2045 that’ll equate to more like $2 per game. How much lower would you expect them to be?

I think you all might be getting too worked up about "slot vs. outside" when Joe Brady's offense has a lot of tight packages and bunch formations where pretty much everybody is packed together anyway. I think Coleman will contribute this season in a meaningful way. I'm higher than most on him (although I didn't love the pick), and we need to remember this is more "Year 1.5" than it is 2. I love how candid Coleman has been about the shortcomings of his game this offseason and I think that with a true growth mindset he could make some serious improvements to his game. He has all the tools. You can't teach tall.

Dems are seething and moaning

I think I'd still want Tre regardless. I'd rather take a gamble on a former All-Pro now 1 year removed from a major injury vs. Douglas who just looked like he didn't have it athletically anymore. He basically fell off a cliff. Either way I want Hairston to win the job, ideally.
-
Aren't they both the same player at this point at 30 years old? I'm not sure if Douglas was willing to take a one year $3m deal with incentives like Tre did.

Probably the reason other metros are building domed stadiums is because the expense is justified. Erie County is the 60th most populous county in the United States. Buffalo is the 82nd largest city. Buffalo is smaller than such "major cities" as Bakersfield and Fresno... Omaha and Corpus Christi... Buffalo has about the same population as Fort Wayne and is barely bigger than Toledo, Ohio. There were how many concerts in Highmark last year? I seriously doubt that there are any stadium-caliber performers who are going to want to come to Buffalo in December to play a concert... even if it's in a domed stadium. I'd bet that when you crunch the numbers and compare the added cost of a domed stadium versus the additional revenues possible from non-NFL events, that the numbers don't pencil out. Comparatively, the Kansas City metro area is over 2 million people. The Chiefs will get a domed stadium if that's what they want. And I'm sure these numbers are well-known to those whose business it is to know them.

So many here wish we could back in time and draft Ladd McConkey, but most NFL scouts believe Keon’s best usage would be similar to that of… Ladd McConkey. Keon can win outside in certain alignments, and against smaller corners, if I’m Allen and see no Safety shaded his way, I’m throwing that jump ball down the sideline ala against Arizona, every time. But with his big body able to shield defenders and what he showed in the gauntlet, getting him in quick hitters and in space, could truly unlock him. Issue, of course, being Shakir, Kincaid, Knox.. our RB’s also all play in that area. Maybe have Palmer as the primary outside receiver, Shakir is the primary slot, and then Coleman, Samuel and Moore as guys who have position flex.

He doesn't want to get raked over the coals by Josh twice a year. He also knows we run the division and wants no parts of a team going nowhere really.

Unless you have your own definition of rampant that no one else is familiar with, your post is a hoax. https://www.usinflationcalculator.com/inflation/current-inflation-rates/ Many, many everyday Americans have 401k accounts. Despite the predictions of calamity (all of them hoaxes at this point) from you and your sort those retirement accounts are doing nicely YTD. Another hoax though I’m sure you have your own interesting view of “quality of life” for everyday Americans. Despite your record being atrocious up to now, there’s a reasonable chance you will eventually be right. Enjoy.

He was.. but is he still? Tre, at least, has reason to believe he could bounce back now a full season removed from serious injury. Douglas had no major injury.. he just fell off.. and was a massive liability for us last year.

Training camp day 3 st john fisher college
HappyDays replied to scuba guy's topic in The Stadium Wall
When we signed him my take was that I think he's washed and I didn't think it would be good for the team if he was in line to start. None of the training camp reports have really changed my mind on that. I don't know if he can ever be even close to the player he was before. Still that quote makes me root for him. -
Even with a Dome, would we have played those games at home? Players, coaches, tv crews, other team etc all need to be able to get to the stadium. Nevermind the fact the fans may or may not be under travel restrictions. Bigger worry for me is a game like we had years back, red uniforms in a blizzard. Super cool when your team isn’t playing in it.. not so much if we’re in a Super Bowl push, playing for seeding and trying to avoid serious injuries.

Coleman recorded the fastest speed of his group in the gauntlet during the combine. He may not be able to out run defenders , but he can out maneuver them IMO.

May not seem like it but compared to Buffalo. Philly is a world class city. Lots of corporate HQ’s, big population, Big downtown, complete with skyscrapers, financial hub, tons of hotel rooms, large international airport. Yes if they build a nice new dome stadium they will get a SB eventually and some huge events there. Buffalo never would have.
