It's becoming a routine excuse every year. One that both is used to explain why we fall short and why we don't need to significantly upgrade the roster. "We were like, 4-5 plays away and we were missing so many guys. If they were there it's a different story" Beane acts like we are the only team missing key players year after year. And he hasn't learned that we WILL have injuries every year and have to have real depth to absorb it. His answer is to sign players on the cheap that used to be good here half a decade ago. I'm really exhausted with the injury excuses year after year.

Well, Brown and Tasker work for the team so they will be supporters for sure; frankly it's kind of a refreshing take after spending time in the TBD dungeon for sure. Many of Marino's takes have been wrong in the past year or so. eg. He hated the Deone Walker draft choice for example and has been dead wrong. His game calls have been more wrong than right.
