Good optimism here. It certainly has merit. The Bills offense should be great. Top 5 or better is very realistic. The defense is another debate. The young DTs are truly wild cards and playing the Ravens in their early career isn't ideal. It's a pretty big ask even for the most optimistic. The Ravens online in the running game are monsters. Henry is a horse coming at you. Let's face it, this is a very bad match up for the light in the ass Bills defense. They will have to load the box and hope Lamar plays poorly. This fan isn't going to gloss over glaring concerns at safety and CB2. It's a legitimate concern going into this game. Obviously, the Bills brass hasn't figured it out. Who think Tre White is a solid CB2? Bishop has shown very little. Rapp is seemingly always hurt. The Bills back end D certainly seems like a work in progress. Not the ideal situation when you are going up against an elite team called the Ravens. Hell yeah I'm concerned. Hopefully, it all gets figured out come playoff time.

The guy is like WR #7 on the practice squad. How can anyone have a problem with this? Jax is paying his ridiculous over priced salary. He’s only getting called up because of injury and we could do worse. Josh is much more mature, he’s not going to force the ball to Gabe and get pick-a-palooza again. All McBeane did trying to make a #3 at best WR into a #2 WR was get Gabe a hilarious payday and then he got cut in after 1 year. I have no problem having him in reserve if WR #1-4 get hurt all at once.

I was just gonna say that. He isn't that good when healthy, he's hurt, and Allen seems to play great against some of the bigger CB names through the recent years (Ramsey, Sauce, etc).

Actually Nadal has been cursed with a rare foot disorder called Mueller-Weiss Syndrome since he was a teenager. It's chronic, painful and incurable. It makes the career he managed to put together even that much more impressive, imo.

I see BBFS is in full swing 5 days before the opener. What else is new? The first game of the season is a crap shoot and in no way indicative of what the team will be at the end of the season. Win or lose, if we meet again in the playoffs this game will have zero impact on that result. Both teams will be very different. We didn’t win the divisional because of luck. We won because we were the better team that night. Henry only ran for 84 yards and Lamar was playoff Lamar. He didn’t just turn into a sucky QB, McD’s defense rattled him a bit and he made mistakes. We’ve improved on the D-line, Milano is looking like All Pro Milano (if he doesn’t bruise his vagine) Benford is ascending into an elite corner, Bernard is actually healthy. White for Douglas is a wash. Rapp is back, I think Bishop is an upgrade over Hamlin but we won’t see the fruit of that until 6 games are played. Stop worrying about Ravens fans. They are so vocal because they know Lamar is propped up by everyone around him and there’s nothing wrong with that. Josh by far elevates those around him better than Lamar. Will that be enough? I hope that's not the case, since the Ravens were #1 in rush offense AND rush defense last year. Frankly, the Ravens are better across the board, with two exceptions: offensive line and quarterback. Is that enough to win? Probably not, but I don't think it was a fluke that the Bills won in the playoffs last year. They had more grit than the Ravens, who seemed (to me) to think it would be a cakewalk for them. I think the Bills could have won in the regular season, too, if Brady hadn't gotten cute with that pass to Allen when they had the momentum. Anyway, that grit/resilience, along with Allen and the O-line, might be enough to win again Sunday.

So just like most NFL games against good teams (i.e., need a more complete game)?
